The Kings 39 Making Bad Choices

"Stop, you just gave me the chills," I cringed, making my way down the hotel hallway.

"Waah! How can you say that to me?" Tang Liang wailed loudly, continuing to act like a baby whose feeling got hurt. "It's Me! Your nephew number three. Why do you only care about Xun and Xue? What about me?"

I rolled my eyes in hoping he felt it through the phone. If I only cared about Xun and Xue, I wouldn't drop everything I was doing to come here.

I pressed the b.u.t.ton to the fifth floor in the elevator. How did I get myself into this situation? Let's see, it was around an hour ago when I received spamming texts from Tang Liang.

#3 Nephew: [Great aunty!]

#3 Nephew: [Where did you go?]

#3 Nephew: [Where are you?]

Me: [What! I'm busy at the office.]

#3 Nephew: [Hehe, I'm drunk.]

I knew it. There is no way Tang Liang will be willing to call me aunty without ulterior motive or being drunk.

#3 Nephew: [h.e.l.lo, I'm Tang Liang's friend. We are currently located at Ruby Courtyard Hotel. He wants to purchase a shark as a pet! Please help!]

And that's how I ended up practically running in the hotel hallway. I know how Tang Liang gets when he is drunk. He'll start making many bad choices and obviously regret it the next day.

One of the few "bad" decision Tang Liang made when he was drunk, was when he purchased a zoo. An entire zoo! I woke up to my entire front and backyard filled with animals. I'm not even sure if it was even legal to have exotic animals running loose. I don't know how he did it, but he did it. Good thing my area was fenced up very good due to security reasons.

For some unknown reason, he has a thing for purchasing animals when he was drunk. Therefore, he had always refrained from drinking. Why did he decide to drink so much today?

I have a lot of things to do already at the office, so Tang Liang getting drunk is another issue piled on. I let Hui Yin deal with the rest of the paperwork. Who knows what will happen if I don't show up in time to save him.

"h.e.l.lo, which room are you guys in on the fifth floor?" I called asking Tang Liang's friend, "Okay, I am- Ah!"

Since I was in a hurry to find the room, I wasn't watching ahead of me. I had my head turned to the side looking for room 505. Whatever I b.u.mped into was firm as a boulder, knocking me down to my feet.

"Watch where you are going!" shouted a woman wearing a tight black dress, "Are you alright Rong?"

I looked up to find Feng Rong standing in front of me with an arm around the woman in the black dress.

"Are you alright?" Feng Rong immediately freed his arm from around the woman's waist to help me stand up. Clearly, she was not too happy to see him letting go of her for me. "Eh, aren't you the peach blossom woman?"

Peach blossom what? Is he talking about me?

Feng Rong was surprised to have b.u.mped into the woman he has been looking for. Just when he gave up searching for her, she appeared in front of him.

"I'm sorry Feng Rong." I knew better than to take his hand, so I got up on my own. Taking his hand was asking to be strangled by the one-night stand standing next to him.

"You know me?" Feng Rong was astonished to hear his name come out from peach blossom woman's mouth. He does not recall ever introducing himself to her unless Mu Yi did?

d.a.m.n, his name accidentally escaped my mouth. Why wouldn't I know who Mu Yi's best friends were when I had the biggest crush on him. I have seen Feng Rong and Ye Xian many times in the past, just that they did not know I was there.

Though Feng Rong may appear to look friendly, his personality was not that much different from Mu Yi. Except for the fact that he knows how to smile. Then there was Ye Xian who was a little slower compared to the two of them. Whose personality was the opposite, so I always wonder how he became friends with them?

Feng Rong suddenly thought of something, "I need you to come with me to look at something amazing!"

He pulled me by my hand to the opposite direction of where I needed to go, "Wait, I'm here for-"

He wasn't listening to what I had to say.

The woman that was with him followed behind without uttering a word. She knew better than to voice her opinion. Even though Feng Rong was all smiley, he was crueler than Mu Yi. Feng Rong does not have the words 'second chance' in his book.

Feng Rong pulled me to a room reeking of cigarette and alcohol. I almost gagged upon entering through the door. I have a very sensitive nose, so the smell was overpowering.

"Yi, look who I found!" Feng Rong loudly announces, pulling Yun Anong in front of him.

Oh, G.o.d. This is what Feng Rong wanted me to come to look at! This was not amazing! It was too late to hide by the time I realized what he wanted to show me.

"Anong?" Mu Yi stood up in surprise to see her with Feng Rong. What is she doing here?

For some strange reason, Feng Rong felt that his hands were on fire. Like someone couldn't wait to chop off his hands.

He noticed Mu Yi's eyes were staring pretty hard in one spot. He followed where Mu Yi was staring at, and it was towards his hands resting on Yun Anong's shoulders. He immediately let go, making sure nothing that belongs to him was touching her.

Hey, wasn't he focusing at the wrong thing! Next time, he will make sure to never touch her in front of him again.
