The Kings 11 Coming

Hearing that Mu Yi was calling for me to go to his office. I almost bent back down and started scrubbing the floor like an obedient child. It was impossible for him to know that I was working at New Image. Well, it wasn't impossible, but how did he find out I was here today at his company. I was only sent here today due to the short staffs!

"Please." Chu Heng urged, coming up to the stage set and throwing the rags out of my hands.

I wasn't sure what happened. My feet automatically started following Chu Heng without objecting.

Shu Meiying stood there shocked the same as everyone else. Mu Yi's personal a.s.sistant came down to the set for Yun Anong. He could have sent anyone random, but his right-hand man. Shu Meiying was already annoyed when she first saw Yun Anong's face. Yun Anong carried this aura with her that meets more than the eyes. Something about Yun Anong did not sit well with her. Now, Mu Yi is calling for her up to his office. Even she couldn't enter his office and would have to wait outside his office.

"I am done for today." Shu Meiying declared, making her manager grab her belongings before storming out of the room. With Shu Meiying gone, there was no point of continuing to film. The director quickly dismissed everyone to go home.

Meanwhile, Yin Bo was panicking on the inside why the big boss of Mu Corporate called for Yun Anong. Yin Bo was in charge of the overseeing that the filming will go smoothly. For the first time, she was entrusted for an important role that can get her a promotion. On the first day of filming, so many disasters had happened already.

Chu Heng guided me to Mu Yi's office, although, I knew my way around without him having to show me the way. He opened the door urging me to enter, but I wasn't dumb enough to volunteer myself to be slaughtered. There was a beast inside who may or may not need appeasing. It's tough to guess what is going through his head.

Chu Heng wasn't sure how to move forward if Yun Anong wasn't willing to go in. He has seen people be afraid of his boss. However, her case seems to be in the extreme. Honestly, he wasn't sure what she was scared of when most women were willing to throw themselves at his boss. If you are Mu Yi's woman, you had struck gold overnight, and his boss compensation for a break wasn't bad either. Although, all those women would prefer to stay if he had allowed them.

"Are you going to stand there or wait for me to come get you?" A cold, domineering voice threatened from inside the room.

"Coming..." I muttered, walking in front of Mu Yi's desk as Chu Heng closed the door behind me.

His eyes never left the doc.u.ments he was reading through. I wasn't planning to stand here forever and wait for him to finish reading that stack of papers. I made my way to his sofas surrounding a coffee table.

Mu Yi's eye lifted from the paperwork briefly to see what she was planning to do. In time to see that she was making her way to his sofas and getting all comfortable. Like she owned the place. Exactly like how she used to all the time back then. Brings him back to when she would always come here to bother him.

"Yi, when will you be done?" Anong asked, laying on the sofa looking up at him with those bright round eyes.

"Go home." Mu Yi answered, ma.s.saging his temples.

"Booooo! Wrong answer." Anong pouted, crossing her arms waiting patiently for him to finish his works.

Even though he tried to chase Anong away many times, she still came marching in like it never happened. She would sit there for the whole day if she must. Just waiting and waiting for him to pay attention to her. He always knew about her feelings for him, but he deliberately ignored her to discourage her from those feelings. He didn't want to give her false hopes to the feelings he couldn't return. Their family was relatively close, so he practically saw Anong grow up. Anong was like a little sister to him.

Now, she would run away at any chance she gets whenever she sees him. He wasn't sure what his feelings for her were until one day she disappeared from his life quietly. He missed her presence, her smile, her pestering, and the way she called his name. Her feelings were pure, unlike those other women who tried to approach him. To the point that his feet automatically took off after her when she ran away at the hotel.

"What do you want from me?" I asked, tilting my head slightly to the side noticing Mu Yi staring at me.

Mu Yi got up from his chair and slowly walked towards me. When he was a step away from me, he leaned towards me and used his thumb to lightly brush my lips.
