Manasarovar Part-1 Volume 1 Chapter 1 Part3

Muliya came with ill-impression. My husband work by tearing his chest, and Panna just sit there as a queen, her boys just stroll lavishly. Muliya couldn’t tolerate this. She wouldn’t be anyone’s lackey. Other’s children are always others, they aren’t anyone’s brother, they are with Raghu only until they grow wings. Once they learned, they would move away dusting off their wings, wouldn’t ever talk again.

One day she told Raghu that-“ If you want to be their slave, then be it, but I won’t do it.”

Raghu-” Then tell me, what should I do?? Boys are not of the age to do house work.”

Muliya-” These are lord’s boys, not yours. This is the same Panna, who used to lingered for crumbs. I have heard everything. I wouldn’t live as a slave. I don’t get informed of your earnings. I don’t know what you bring and what she do with it. You think, money comes in come only. But you will see you won’t even get a penny in the end. ”

Raghu-” If I will give my earnings to you then what will people say, at-least think that much. ”

Muliya-” Let the people speak, I don’t care. They didn’t sell me. You will see, after making  your hand will remain black every time. You can die for your brothers, but I won’t. ”

Raghu didn’t respond. What he feared had come upon him too soon. Now even if he tried to maintain everything with all his might, then also things would work just for a year or half. Things didn’t seem to be working in the future. Lamb’s mother can’t care for her forever.

One day Panna laid mahua for drying. Rain had started. Wheat was getting wet in the storage. Said to Muliya- ” Bahu(daughter-in-law), just keep watch, I going for bathing in river. ”

Muliya replied irresponsibly-” I am getting sleepy, you sit and watch. What can go wrong if you won’t bathe for one day??”

Panna dropped off the sari, went off to bathe. Muliya’s attack went to waste.

After a day in evening Panna was retruning from rich field, it was dark now. She was famished. She hoped, Bahu must have made rotis already, but she saw the stove was cold, and children were in pain from hunger pangs. Panna asked slowly-” stove didn’t light till now today?? ”

Kedaar said-” Even in afternoon stove was cold kaki. Bhabhi(sister-in-law) didn’t prepare us anything. ”

Panna- “Then what did you eat??”

Kedaar-” Khunnu and Lakshman had some last night rotis. I ate some .”

Pannu-” and bahu??”

Kedaar-” She is laying asleep, didn’t eat anything.”

Panna started stove instantly and sat there to make rotis. Made dough and prepared some rotis. What a luck?? All day burned in fields, and when came home burned in-front of stove.

Kedaar was now 14 years old. He could understand everything after watching bhabhi’s colors. Said-” Kaki, now bhabhi don’t want to live with you.”

Panna asked with shock-” Did she say anything?? ”

Kedaar- ” She didn’t say anything but this is in her mind for sure. Then why don’t you leave her? She can as she wants, we have our G.o.d.”

Panna said while biting her tongue-” Quiet! Remember to not say this again in-front of me. Raghu is not your brother, he is your father. If you said anything to Muliya, I’ll eat poison.”

I am new to WordPress and its functionality so I am learning it slowly

I made some changes to menu for ease of navigating to different parts of the current story
