Chapter 1591 This Is Not A Sparring Session
The Fourth Prince's expression changed drastically when he saw this. Klaus hasn't made use of his puppet but he was already getting the advantage over his opponent. This wasn't what he expected when he sent the Gnome to fight against Klaus. A Gnome is usually stronger than a human, unless said human was a genius even among geniuses in the human world.
Geniuses like Klaus rarely become Necromancers unless he has a long lineage of Necromancers. The fact that a family of Necromancers could produce such a talent was frightening. Klaus was already this strong, this should tell one just how powerful his puppet would be.
The Fourth Prince took a glance at the other First stage Sovereign Gnome by his side and said, "Help him. Don't disgrace me in the presence of my little brother."
ƈοm The Fourth Prince felt irritated at the thought of his younger brother having the advantage over him. As long as his younger brother's Necromancers were stronger than both him and his subjects, then he was already out of the battle for the throne, placing the Seventh Prince who was already lauded for his talent ahead of him. Among the other Princes, the Fourth Prince is also one of the most promising ones outside the First and Second Prince.
The Seventh Prince was talented, but he was still very young, hence the reason people like the Third and even the Fourth Prince are regarded slightly higher than he is. However, all this wouldn't matter if the Seventh Prince manages to recruit talents such as Klaus and the others. That would mean that he has a good eye for people and being able to bring these two means he would be able to groom more powerful talents for the Empire.
The Fourth Prince was a little annoyed at this, but he still wanted to make sure the Seventh Prince didn't get the advantage, even if he had to fight two against one.
Klaus looked at the onrushing Gnome, he was also in the First stage of the Sovereign Plane, and looking at him, he chuckled.
"Haha, now you're taking me seriously." He was like a crazed maniac who has been itching for a battle all this while.
Reynolds, who was sitting on the tree above, couldn't help but shake his head. Klaus was acting like Grey and Alice, the known battle maniacs in the group.
'If he joins them, then I'm the only sane one in the group.' Reynolds sighed, with a shake of his head, he looked in the direction of Grey and Alice, as if to show them that Klaus was now one of them.
Somewhere in the trees, Alice and Grey were seated, casually watching the fight.
"Since when did he like fighting?" Grey couldn't help but ask.
They've known Klaus to enjoy overwhelming his opponents, but unlike Grey and Alice who loved fighting, Klaus would rather watch them than be the one doing all the fighting.
"He must've been bored, and hearing that you're getting all the spotlight, he didn't want to be left out." Alice replied.
Grey nodded in agreement, that explanation was well within Klaus' behavior. He didn't want Grey to be the only one who did everything while they were here. They all came in together, so he feels it's only normal that they all get involved. Unfortunately, Grey is the only one who can use puppets and act like a true Necromancer, so it was only natural that he was the one who went out more.
….
Klaus unleashed his full strength, and a full moon appeared behind him. His aura shot past the First stage and ended at the peak of the Second stage, almost breaking into the Third stage.
He is able to make use of the full moon now for a longer period, so he brought it out right off the bat.
The two Gnomes stood together and after exchanging a glance, they charged at Klaus.
Klaus laughed and attacked, not afraid of the duo, even though they each had a First stage Sovereign puppet with them.
Klaus knew these puppets could barely keep up with his attacks, and the Gnomes weren't strong individually. Against other humans, they might be able to battle them, but Grey and his friends were different, they were geniuses among geniuses.
Klaus went on a rampage, and attacked the four simultaneously, fighting as if he was not afraid of getting struck by their attacks. What the Gnomes found more annoying was the fact that even though they could clearly see that Klaus was attacking recklessly, they still weren't able to break through his defenses. It was clear that he didn't lose his mind while fighting, rather, he was using more attack power, but still keeping enough to ensure he protected himself.
The Gnomes nor their puppets couldn't break his defense with one blow, and Klaus could almost instantly regenerate any part of his ice dome that cracks. Not just that, but the ice also retaliates, which means the Gnomes not only have to look out for Klaus' attacks, but they also have to look out for the retaliation of the ice dome.
Klaus was laughing as he fully suppressed them. He didn't expect them to be this weak and soon started to get bored.
The eyes of the Fourth Prince showed shock as he saw how easily it was for Klaus to overwhelm the duo. They were First stage Sovereigns like himself, yes, he is stronger than they were, but he didn't believe that Klaus, someone recruited by his younger brother would be able to do the same.
"Where did he get them?" He mumbled to himself in shock.
His younger brother struck gold, and he was jealous of him.
"Stop fighting, you've won." The Fourth Prince took a step forward, and just as he was about to take the next step forward to stop Klaus from continuing beating up his subordinates, a lightning bolt struck where his right foot was about to step on.
"Who says we're here to spar?"
