A look of shock appeared on the lady's face, and it soon turned into delight, "You know about the ident.i.ty of a Necromancer hiding there, amazing! Let's head to the Faction now so we can deal with that treacherous sc.u.m!"

Reynolds and Alice were shocked at the lady's words. It was almost as if she didn't know she was the one the duo were talking about and she is even suggesting they headed to the Faction so they could fish out the Necromancer.

Grey and Klaus who were hiding by the side couldn't help but applaud the woman's acting. It is one thing to know that you've been caught, still being able to act in such a manner after being caught was another. The lady might be able to fool others if they aren't sure she was the one, unfortunately for her, both Reynolds and Alice knew she was the one and they wouldn't take her words seriously.

'I'll kill them as soon as they turn their backs. I haven't been waiting for hundreds of years just to see my efforts foiled now.' The lady thought internally as a glint flashed through her eyes.

She was willing to take the risk of killing the duo. If they were from a top Faction or Family, she would hide in her Faction, and being a Sovereign means her Faction will never agree to others killing her since it would only make them weak.

Sovereigns are hard to groom, so after losing one would always be a hefty loss to any Faction or Family.

Reynolds and Alice looked at the lady and both burst out laughing, Reynolds even went as far as applauding the lady.

"Impressive acting, if I didn't know it was you just now, I would've been fooled." Reynolds clutched his stomach as he laughed mid-sentence.

"What are you saying, boy?" The lady's tone changed from the previous one to one of anger.

"I'm saying you're the treacherous sc.u.m we're going to deal with." Reynolds' eyes turned cold and his armor encased his body. His aura spiked, bordering the Second stage of the Sovereign Plane.

Alice also merged with her Seelie and just like Reynolds, her aura spiked as well.

Grey and Klaus couldn't help but feel strange, unlike the duo, they didn't have anything to merge with to increase their cultivation. Grey had the freakiest one, but till now, he still doesn't have access to the Fusion State which he found a bit annoying. He thought getting to the Sovereign Plane would get him access to the Fusion State once again, but unfortunately, it didn't.

The lady looked at the duo before her and her expression turned serious, she was confident in dealing with them the way they previously were, but in their current state, she knew she can still deal with them, but it will take more energy than she was supposed to use.

"I hate privileged kids like you, you always think everyone is beneath you. But that's where you're wrong, and that's why you will die." The lady laughed, "You found out about something like this and thought you could deal with it yourself instead of informing your superiors, I will enjoy killing you two."

Alice and Reynolds didn't speak and attacked. The lady had the higher cultivation and also higher attack power, it was best if they attacked first and forced her into the defensive, leaving her little room to attack.

Both Reynolds and Alice were very fast due to having the lightning element, with Reynolds getting the edge with the help of his Elemental Warrior which has turned into an armor.

The duo, like a bolt of lightning attacked simultaneously, but the lady was prepared, she blocked both attacks, but felt her body shake from the impact.

After having a feel of their attack power, she reevaluated them once again, they both had the attack power of a Second stage Sovereign, something she didn't prepare for during the first strike.

While she was thinking about all these, another strike came her way. This time, she reinforced her defense and blocked once again, forcing the duo back after blocking the attack.

The Purple Cloves Faction was a wind elemental Faction, so speed was also one of her strong suits.

Her robust body moved like a ball, charging at Reynolds and Alice, she exploded out with a darkness element attack spread out with the aid of the wind element.

The darkness elemental attack was powerful, but its flaw was its speed, however, with the wind element's help, that flaw was covered.

Alice used her ice ability to defend against the darkness element attack, but she saw her ice being corroded by the effects of the darkness element. She moved quickly, getting out of its range.

Reynolds on the other hand attacked back, using his lightning attack to slow down the darkness attack before retreating.

Just as they were retreating, another figure appeared behind them, not one, but two figures. Both were in the First stage of the Sovereign Plane.

The two puppets attacked simultaneously, wanting to take advantage of their blind spots to take them out.

Alice and Reynolds were already preparing for this since the start of the battle, they were facing a Necromancer after all, so they expected to face her puppets.

Grey didn't step in to help since the duo wanted to fight under that pressure, he too wouldn't mind fighting under it. Since his breakthrough, he hasn't really been involved in a battle that was completely above him, this was the one he wanted to use to train himself for what is to come when he enters the Gnome world.

Boom!

Alice and Reynolds separated from their Seelie and Elemental Warrior respectively, using it to stop the attacks of the puppets before merging with them once again.

"Oh, a boy with an Elemental Warrior, that's a very rare sight, but you're not the first, a girl with a Seelie, that is also rare." The lady commented and felt a sense of familiarity, but she couldn't wrap her head around why she felt that way.
