Chapter 114 - 114 Taking the Child Away
114 Taking the Child Away
Not to mention Feng Chen, even the usually cold Mo Beiyuan revealed a trace of shock. This woman had actually seen through the Miracle Doctor Sect with just this short contact.
At this point, Feng Chen naturally did not dare to underestimate her. He even had a feeling that this girl was being humble when she said a year.
Yun Ran knew that he couldn’t let it go yet, so she didn’t force him to join the Ghost Physicians Sect.
Mo Beiyuan had been silent, but Yun Ran knew that this person must be very curious about her wild fruits, wildflowers, and weeds.
After night fell, Yun Ran took the initiative to look for him after coaxing the two little b.a.l.l.s to sleep.
She went straight to the point. “Mo Beiyuan, I can’t tell you the answer you want to know now, but I can promise you that I won’t harm you and the two children.”
Who didn’t have some secrets in this world?
She believed that Mo Beiyuan had them too, and there were many of them.
Yun Ran didn’t like to ask about other people’s secrets, nor did she like others prying into her own.
Mo Beiyuan’s cold eyes were deep, like a bottomless spring. No one knew what was hidden under the calm water.
Yun Ran could not understand it.
She was also too lazy to guess.
After saying what she wanted to say, she prepared to go back to sleep.
Little did she know that while she had only come out to say a few words, something happened to Bun and Sweetcake.

Under the night sky, a few black shadows moved quickly, leaving behind afterimages.
Under the moonlight, the shadows silently pa.s.sed through the defense line of the secret guards of the Yuan Manor and entered the room of the two children.
Bun and Sweetcake were sleeping soundly under a soft blanket. They did not notice that the black shadows were slowly approaching.
Just as the black shadows were about to attack the two little b.a.l.l.s on the bed, a small black shadow darted out of the window and rode on the neck of one of the black shadows. It suddenly bit his neck, and blood splattered.
The black figure let out a miserable scream, which woke the sleeping little packrats up.
Little Sweetcake rubbed her eyes and sat up. Her big beautiful eyes were filled with confusion as she called out in a childish voice, “Mother…”
But she did not see her mother. Instead, she saw people she did not know approaching. Those people were dressed in black and wore ghost masks with green faces and fangs.
Sweetcake screamed miserably. After all, she was a three-and-a-half-year-old child. Usually, when she had her parents by her side, she was very playful. However, now that she did not see her parents, she was shocked.
Her face turned pale. “Daddy… Sweetcake is afraid… Boohoo…”
The black shadows probably did not expect such a sudden change and said sinisterly, “The child is awake. What the h.e.l.l is this? Hurry up and get rid of this d.a.m.n thing. I’ll take the child away. Are you that it’s this little girl and not the boy?”
“I’m sure. The buyer wants the little girl. As for the little boy, just kill him!”
A few black shadows conversed quickly. One of them stared fixedly at Little Sweetcake, who was sitting on the bed, like a poisonous snake flicking its tongue.
Little did he know that he had just taken a step forward when a scream came from behind him.
“It’s a ghoul! It’s actually a little ghoul! They actually raised a little ghoul!”
The little girl on the bed rubbed the tears at the corners of her eyes. Her big eyes were misty, but she seemed to have recognized someone she had seen before.
“Boohoo… Little brother, I’m scared…”
