After his breakthrough, Dai Mubai spent an entire week to consolidate his cultivation. After that, he went to the northern mountain range to look for his target to take its spirit ring, the Ghost Skeletal Condor.

He chooses it as his target because of its amazing speed and fierceness in spite of its sinister name. After hurrying for two whole days of running, he finally arrived at his destination. He immediately proceeds to the peak of the mountain to look for the Ghost Skeletal Condor, he roaming the mountain for about an hour before he reaches the mountain peak.

On there, he saw a big four-winged bird with its back, abdomen, and wings covered by a bone-like armor munching a body among the sea of corpses of humans and beasts.

Seeing the bodies of the humans scattered on the ground, Mubai couldn't help but shake his head with a helpless feeling. With so many bodies, it's crystal clear that they launch a big scale attack toward this Bird only to be mercilessly slaughtered by it.

Mubai killed many spirit beasts on his way towards the peak. The higher he goes, the beasts became stronger than the last. In the beginning, he was able to sneak around freely, but later on, he must use all of his means to not get noticed by the spirit beasts and occasionally have to fight with them, that's if one-punched each of them is considered a fight at all.

Despite this being the case, Mubai became more ferocious and bloodthirsty the more he fought. Inadvertently, his body carried a ferocious presence and had a murderous aura. This aura became even more corporeal. Mubai's gaze caused others to feel as if there was a ferocious beast watching them, giving rise to gooseb.u.mps.

Cruel and merciless fighting was the best whetting stone for Mubai, the best type of mental training. This Ghost Skeletal Condor before him was at least fifty thousand years old. From under his fist, it suddenly disappeared — Mubai knew this was a bad sign and he felt pain from behind his back. Even at his maximum speed, he was still slashed by the claws of the Ghost Skeletal Condor, and his blood began to spurt from the gash.

A fifty thousand-year-old Spirit beast was a frightening existence. Even spirit master at the spirit douluo level would be extremely wary of them. In one on one fight, the winner between the two would not be clear.

Mubai's shadow instantly flashed and his body jumped up high. The moment his shadow reappeared, he was already hundreds of meters away. He disappeared and reappeared again and again.

Slowly he becomes bored, he summoned a small White sun on his back.

The Nine Heaven Locking Sun! - Modified version! Mubai now had mastered bits of the profound truths of the 'Taint' word, hence he infused it within the Nine Heaven Locking Sun. But alas, his cultivation was still shallow. Otherwise, with the Taint Infused Nine Heaven Locking Sun, he could easily incinerate the Heaven and earth at will!

The Ghost Skeletal Condor also chased after Mubai, who suddenly escaped. It flashed and disappeared towards Mubai's direction.

Mubai ran into the thick forest and finally ended up at a cliff. The speed of the Sinister Bird Plant was also frightening and it kept on chasing Mubai down. However, after reaching this cliff, Mubai's flashing figure disappeared completely.

Once locked onto a prey, the Ghost Skeletal Condor would never let it go, so it immediately hovered on the air to find Mubai.

But suddenly, Mubai appeared behind it with the little white sun on his hand. There was no distance between the two!

The Ghost Skeletal Condor flashed, wanting to escape. This was the reason why the flying avian type spirit beasts were so annoying to deal with. They were like ghosts and seldom fight directly. After missing a strike, they would hide and wait for another opportunity.

"It is too late, Ghost Skeletal Condor Bird, this Handsome man is fed up with you."

Mubai roared. He pointed his finger to the sky and yelled:

"Have a taste of my Nine Heaven Locking Sun - Taint Edition!."

"Boom–!!!"

With one strike defying the heavens, Mubai's right hand suddenly became as bright as the sky. The Ghost Skeletal Condor lost its color as a powerful aura came down from the sky. The hand of Mubai, in a flash, became center of the world.

'Who dared not to follow the will of I, the one who will reign the heaven and earth in the future. Let this hand becomes the center of the universe, with accompanying brilliance; one hand carried the power of the entire world!'

"Screeeeech—"

The Ghost Skeletal Condor bellowed, wanting to escape, but it had no chance. As a spirit beasts, it could channel the spirit energy, but under the suppression of the White Sun might, it couldn't access the spirit energy at all! Under the Sun, how could the fireflies compare to its brilliance?!

"Chiii–"

Blood exploded along with floating feathers. Under this one fist, the Ghost Skeletal Condor indignantly became scattered ashes and dispersed smoke.

Nine Heaven Locking Sun infused with the profound truth of the 'Taint' was extremely frightening. All merit laws, no matter how powerful, would pale in comparison! One move alone ruled all of the ten thousand technique. Under the might of the white sun, the power of the ten thousand skill seemed insignificant!

Mubai murmured. He then covered the opening of his wound. The pain felt terrible that even Mubai had to grit his teeth to withstand the sensation, it's not often he's able to feel a pain like this.

While powerful, Mubai didn't want to rely on this Nine Heaven Locking Sun - Taint Edition merit Law too much, he had many other means, besides he's yet able to use this merit law full might completely with his low cultivation rank. When it wasn't necessary, he wouldn't use it.

After killing the Ghost Skeletal Condor, Mubai disappeared and continued westbound dragging the remnant of the Ghost Skeletal Condor.

Far in the ravine and inside a deep cave, Mubai hunkered down inside and channeled his spirit energy and physique energy. He also activated his martial spirit to absorb the Ghost Skeletal Condor's spirit ring while devouring the energy of heaven and earth.

"The Handsome me is really lucky, beside knowing the might of my self created merit law the 'Nine Heaven Locking Sun - Taint Edition' I also find an external spirit bone."

Mubai's smile stretched from ear to ear, he's happy looking at four wings on his back.

"I've decided, I'll refine this external spirit bone into my Longevity treasure!"
