In the morning Uncle Yi finally back and finishing some 'task' that I a.s.signed to him. After the all of the commotion that I caused when creating Jie Mountain Pa.s.s, I was sure that many power will come and investigate. I have no qualm with the n.o.bles from this empire, but the problem is this empire, no, this continent is invested with 'snakes' with the alias 'spirit hall'.

They said that they're a neutral party whom only have the purpose to make the spirit masters flourish in this continent.

You know what?

*Ptuih* they're just a hypocrite b.a.s.t.a.r.d!

If not for the strong influence of the Royal family in this empire, the I'm sure that slowly this empire will be swallowed by those snakes. Both unfortunately and fortunately from the intelligence that gathered by my 'shadow', the neighboring kingdom, the 'Great Heaven' Kingdom has been infected and greatly influenced by those snakes.

Why did I said unfortunately? because those snake's scheme run well!

Why did I said fortunately? because that foolish kingdom will soon divided by their own greed and be greatly weakened, they're too depended to their seven great clan. From the information that I got, the 'elephant armored' clan has been swayed by the spirit hall, they exchanged their fealty to spirit hall in exchange for spirit hall's help to find an extremely rare herb for their patriarch's son.

Apparently the elephant armored clan's patriarch used to have three sons, but two were dead because of an unknown 'sickness'. So when he's in desperation, the people from the spirit hall came and offering a 'help' with a few conditions.

Move from that topic, the Snakes... *Cough* Spirit hall have a branch here in this Yule City. So I want to slowly purge this 'cancer' from this city, then later, from My Starfall Empire.

(A/N : Heaven Dou Kingdom and Star luo Empire , I'll just call it Great Heaven Kingdom and Starfall Empire)

Let's just say that this continent is my first step to rebuild my Nine Heaven sect, from the record I found in one of the section inside library of the sage temple, the first emperor of this Starfall Empire was not a native of this continent. And from another record, the current supreme elder of the spirit hall, the first patriarch of the Clear Sky clan, and the first patriarch of the Blue-lightning tyrant dragon clan are from another continent, named Sky continent.

So my goal are still way beyond the horizon, I still have a long way to tread before the revival of my Nine heaven sect.

Under this warm morning sun ray, I keep pondering my future step. I already told uncle Yi my ambition and goal, bar the otherworldly thing, and with his help many parts of the preparation are run well on its course.

"Uncle Yi."

"What is it?"

"Tonight... let's execute the first step of the plan."

Hearing me, uncle Yi just raising his eyebrows and sighing.

"Your appet.i.te is really big, just remember to chew the food well before you swallow it."

Listening to Uncle Yi's advice, I just grin and summoning my three spirit rings. Behind me three floating spirit rings with rune inside them respectively creating an image of a spider, a standing bear, and a crouching tiger. Each of them is glistening and radiating an intense pressure and full of tainted essence, every single one of their color is dark purplish gold and each of them is reek of power.

"Its tiring to constantly applying an illusion to them, those old man in the temple are not easy to fool." I can only sighing remembering my hard time when I was at the sage temple.

Fortunately the concept of 'essence' in this land is very rarely heard of. And I have yet to find any clan nor individual that know formation nor an advanced cultivation technique. Talking about essence, my spirit can devour the spirit beast's soul and using their soul essence to enriched my spirit ring, thus advancing their age. Until the 5th stage when its gone red the spirit rings are still quiet easy to 'level up'. But after that, it started to get a little hard as I need to fill them with an 'Element' or 'concept', which I decided to fill 'em up with the truth essence of 'Taint' which I interpret from the word 'Taint' from the physique scripture.

Apparently in this world's cultivation system my power cla.s.sification is on the mid-lower side (36th) which is equal to provisional palace stage.

At this level person can build a second Fate Palace within the Ni Gong meridian. Building a new Fate Palace from scratch is not an easy matter. The process could not be rushed, because if a mistake appeared, it would directly cause the emerging Fate Palace to collapse and rebuilding it again would be extremely difficult.

Based on my research and experience, in this world human's fate palace are immediately opened when their spirit is awakened, hence it's easy to enter the palace foundation stage. When they're reach 10th level, instead of cultivating merit law to expand their soul palace, they hunt spirit beast and absorb its ring to refine their fate palace and that's why first ring is important to every knowing spirit master to tread their future path.

The next step is the physique acc.u.mulation stage, or rather in this world I call it soul shaping stage. I called it so because at the 20th level, the spirit ring that they absorb is the threshold to further evolving their soul spirit and solidifying their foundation for their future path to decide wether they can advance to the greater stage. The example is, if one absorb a white ring fire-element full attack type spirit ring and he/she absorb a white ring wood-element auxiliary control type spirit ring then his/her chance to step further than spirit ancestor is miniscule if he can't find another ring to balancing his soul essence.

The only exception is if one have a unique spirit with strong law that can convert any ring he absorb into his own type essence, for example is the great me.

"Bai'er, I don't think I can be surprised by you anymore. The first time you revealed your rings to me, I almost got an heart attack."

Uncle Yi just sighing and lamenting about his poor heart that constantly shocked in this short journey with me.

"Don't jinx yourself uncle Yi, I still have many surprise in store for you." I just chuckled and taking joy from his lament

'After all If I advanced further in my cultivation, then my soul spirit will also constantly get stronger, if it get stronger then my essence gathering will be a lot easier too, then with an easy essence gathering my cultivation will advanced even further and faster. Repeat...'

"Anyway, our mission tonight should be quiet easy if we're act covert since their branch leader in this Yule city's branch is just a spirit king."

(A/N : I think our MC's power value sense is rather messed up, it's because he's surrounded by a bunch of power house)

"This will be the first but clearly not the last, as one of three sovereign in this continent they surely have their own trump card. And we have to be prepared to any kind of situation."

Uncle Yi just keep his silent demeanor hearing me talking, but his amused face make me slightly irritated.

Finally, the sun has set and the moon shine illuminating this dark continent. Two peoples, young and old, silently infiltrating a building that guarded tightly by many spirit master.

Their eyes shine in this dark environment like a tiger and an eagle eyeing their prey.

The young one dashing silently toward the patrolling guards, he slipped past them and went to their back, his 'claws' flashing toward the guard's back then he whispering under his breath...

"Omae wa mō shinde iru!" [1]

And the guards body slumped lifelessly on the ground.

"Nani?!"

And the old one surprised by the young's behavior...

'Aaah, since I've got this memories I always wanted to try this at least once!'
