(Sharp Sword (White) – The same as a normal sword, but better! Because it is sharper than before, you can now easily cut through regular infected. Takes a lot longer to dull!!)

(Thick Vest (White) – A thick vest that can protect well against blunt force trauma. Doesn't help much with sharp object though. So don't get stabbed haha.)

(Thick Pants (White) – Thick pants that can protect well against blunt force trauma. Doesn't help much with sharp object though. Watch out for sharp gra.s.s!)

(Studded Boots (White) – Boots that are both good for running, and pack a wallop when used to kick someone. Minimal increase in agility +1 AGI.)

This was the biggest harvest I had since I started fighting, nothing could compare. I quickly swapped out my gear and realized a little problem. Unlike the first few pieces of gear I found, these didn't refit themselves to my body.

I was lucky when it came to the boots and pants. They fit on without too much of a hitch. But I would have to find a belt for the pants; they could fall off if I was fighting. The real problem was the vest; it was too big for me. I could still wear it, it would just be baggy.

d.a.m.n it all though, I needed the protection, I decided not to take off the padded vest and put the thick vest over it. I was expecting it to be hot after putting it on, but it wasn't. I looked a bit funny with the two vests on, but it would offer me more protection.

Finally I took a closer look at my new blade. It had sharp in its name so I didn't want to put my hand too close to the blades edge. It was a lot more exquisite than the last blade, as it looked a lot more sleek and wasn't as clunky. I could get rid of a lot of regulars with this, well that's if they don't evolve too much.

With just these I had already won the jackpot, whatever I got in the next gold globe wouldn't change that. And when I didn't think I could get happier, I saw what was inside it. This was the best thing I could possibly get, the rest were good, but this was on a different level, figuratively and literally.

(Storage ring (Blue) – Its bothersome to carry around a bag right. Well not anymore, you can store up to a cubic meter of anything in this ring. No living beings counted. Special Effect: resizes to fit user)

I found one of the most needed and used things in those online novels I read, a b.l.o.o.d.y storage ring. And it was a "Blue" Tier item, I still don't know the tiers, but blue is definitely better than white. This would save me so much trouble with carry food and water. But better yet, I could double the amount of stuff I carry, by stuffing them both full.

Plus I was no fool; I had read enough stuff to know that when an apocalypse struck, people would rob others. Not all, but some would, and if I ever was in that situation, I would always have a life line.

Hopefully that never has to happen. My face turning grim for a second. But that was all it was as the happiness once again took over.

Ella seemed to feel my happiness as she made her way back over.

Wait what!

I looked at where Ella was coming from and realized, that the body of the infect was already half eaten. It had only been like 5-8 minutes! She ate all that in the time. My eyes widened reflexively, that was way too fast. And what is she holding?!?

Ella moved towards me and held up the thing in her hands. She was holding a severed arm of the infected.

How did she remove that from the body?

Wait that's not important, she was holding it up towards my face. I stiffly smiled as she held it up to me, what is she doing?

As if realizing that her message wasn't getting across, she lowered the arm and brought it towards herself. She took a bite out of it, blood smearing on her lips. After swallowing the chunk in a quick manner, she then smiled again and raised it towards me.

It was a very bright smile and it looked as if she wanted praise for sharing something with me. The scene was so out of place, with the act of eating an actual body, that I just sat dumbfounded.

Realizing that I was doing nothing, she raised the arm closer to me, until it was a few centimetres from my face. I finally freaked out at the situation and slapped the arm away from my face. I could feel the residual heat from the arm and smell the blood. It was making me sick.

The arm flew out of the girls hands and smacked into a wall a few meters away. As I was still panicking, Ella started to cry in front of me. The feeling of sadness was pushed onto me, and I realized what I had just done. I flailed my arms around for a few seconds not sure of what to do. I wasn't the best with children.

"Dammit"

Seeing that she was still crying in front of me, I slowly raised my hands and moved closer to her. I didn't know what to do, so I just quietly wrapped my arms around her and pulled her in for a hug. It was an awkward hug for sure, and as she buried her head on my shoulder blood was smeared all over my neck.

"There, there."

I didn't know what else to say or do, so I just continued to hug her until she stopped crying.

"Sorry, you weren't in the wrong. It's just that I don't eat infected?"

I wasn't sure how I was supposed to say it too her, and she didn't even understand me. But i said so any ways. Seeing that, she finally calmed down; I looked around the room and saw what I was looking for. There was a stack of towels in the corner of the room, and a few of them didn't have the tar like substance on them.

I quickly got up and moved over there, leading Ella with me. She still looked down from what happened, but it wasn't that bad anymore.

I grabbed a clean towel, and slowly bent down to wipe her tears away. She had quietened down a lot, and I decided to wipe some of the blood off her. It was pretty hard, as she had dried blood on some parts of her body, and face.

After doing the best that I could do, she had finally started smiling again. The feeling of happiness getting sent over relived me. When she was sad, the feelings really affected me. It didn't feel good.

After I was done I looked down at her, she looked a lot better now, but she was still naked, i needed to fix that. I moved back towards where I put down my blade and picked it up. I slipped the storage ring on and moved back towards Ella.

She happily grabbed my hand and smiled up at me. I moved out of the room and carefully made my way back to the reception. Only finding 3 regular infect on the way, they were all level 2. Because of my new gear they were no problem. I also decide to pick up all the globes that I had left lying around yesterday. Because of my rush to kill everything, I left all the globes and infected bodies all over the place.

All of them pretty much gave entertainment points.

While the globes were still sitting there, most of the bodies had started to already disintegrate. I say disintegrate, but it was more like they were melting into black puddles.

I didn't look at them too long, but most of the bodies I found were already half way to being puddles. I made sure that Ella didn't step in them; the tar seemed to be a very sticky substance.

Finally making it back to the reception, I went and found my bag. Exactly what I had been looking for, nothing had happened to it at least.

I quickly transferred all the contents into my ring and pulled out the spare beginner clothes. I had picked up 2 pairs of them when I was clearing out the floor yesterday. Holding them out towards Ella she just stared at me.

*Sigh*

As I couldn't explain to her how to do it, using the status screen, I just repeatedly said "Wear". Pointing between it and my own cloths before, I helped her put them on. Hopefully this could teach her in the long term. I also gave her my old (Running boots), She couldn't keep going around bare footed.

She still didn't know what I was talking about, as the clothes finally reshaped to fit her and a shocked look appeared on her face.

While she was looking at the clothes fascinated I thought about my next move.

Well, I've leveled up and haven't put my attribute points in yet. And I also need to go and pick up all the drops I missed yesterday. Then I've got to go and explore the other floors, see if there are more people alive.

And most importantly get stronger.
