Kaname's hips drove into me harder and quicker. I lost my ability to think and just let him rule over me. I called his name a few times, letting him know how much I was getting closer and closer to another rapid satisfying release. When it came, every nerve in my body worshipped him; my mouth formed into an o, my back arched, and my toes curled. After a few more thrusts, he found his own s.e.xual fulfillment.

"Hinata!" his hoa.r.s.e voice called my name as his pelvic muscles contracted in p.r.o.nounced rhythm.

When I opened my eyes, I found him staring at me in that manner that never failed to give my heart a squeeze.

I giggled when he finished; this guy really knows how to say the right words at the right time. After some time, he let go of me to slowly disentangle himself from our current position. He then helped me stand up, careful that I didn't slip or fall. My legs were a bit weak from being in the same position for quite a long time so he carried me to the bedroom instead.

"The food has gone cold," I frowned when I saw the tray on the low table.

"Hungry?"

I nodded.

"Wait here, I'll ask Fumi to heat it up for us."

When he got back, I was still in the process of pulling on the sleeves of my robe. His eyes gleamed when he saw my exposed collarbone.

"Fumi will be here with our food soon," I reminded him.

He laughed and just helped me tie my obi in place.

Kaname and I sat side by side as Fumi arranged the food on the low table. There were several food items I was not familiar with but they all looked and smelled delicious. It seemed like she went all out for lunch because we weren't served our typical rice with three sides and a soup meal. My mouth especially started to water when I saw the skewered sticky rice buns that were grilled and glazed with a sweet sauce.

Kaname filled my bowl with food from time to time as we ate, he didn't seem to notice that I was eating more than usual lately. I was about to finish my second bowl of rice when I realized that I was pigging out, I wasn't stressed so why was I eating so much? I dropped my chopsticks and pushed my bowl away guiltily.

"Something wrong?" he asked when he saw that I no longer wanted to eat. "You haven't finished your food yet."

"Nothing," I said although my eyes were obviously glued on the grilled manju.

"Then have something sweet to complete your meal," he offered me a stick of the roasted buns. "Fumi said it has an adzuki bean filling."

I shook my head. "No, thanks. Maybe next time."

"But you clearly want it?" he looked perplexed.

"It's still made of rice. I've had enough carbs for now," I pushed his hand away. It was a my-mind-is-telling-me-no-but-my-body-is-telling-me-yes scenario, I wanted it but I have to refuse.

"Huh?"

"I don't want to get fat, Kaname," I told him.

Unexpectedly, he burst into laughter. He was so amused that he choked on his food and I had to pour him a cup of tea to dislodge whatever was blocking his throat.

"You're really the most amusing person I know, Hina," he said as soon as he could speak again. "What fat? Your body is perfect! Trust me, I gave it a very thorough checkup earlier."

"I've been eating a lot lately, haven't you noticed?" I told him. "And I haven't offset it with exercise!"

"Well, you do eat a lot for a woman—" I punched his arm. "Ouch!"

I glared at him.

"Let me finish, will you?"

"Hmph!" I crossed my arms on my chest and looked away stubbornly.

"You do eat a lot BUT," he emphasized the conjunction, "your body burns it all quickly! Your metabolism is good!"

"But why do I feel like my hips have gotten wider?" I stood up to pat them. "And my b.r.e.a.s.t.s have gotten fuller?"

His eyes darkened when he saw me cupping my bosom. Ugh, he is so easy to distract.

"You look good," he said softly while staring at my chest. "Very good."

"Idiot!" I rolled my eyes at him and gave up. "Your head is always full of l.u.s.tful thoughts! I'm here talking about my weight gain but do you care? No. All you see are my b.r.e.a.s.t.s!"

"I'm not going to deny that I always l.u.s.t over every inch of your body," he told me without a care. "Even when you're asleep, I feel like attacking you and having wake up s.e.x."

I gaped at him, this man… Does he even know how embarra.s.sing his words are? Wake up s.e.x? What a libidinous b.a.s.t.a.r.d!

"What?" he raised his brows questioningly. "You look so shocked."

"Pervert!" was all I could say as I clutched the front of my robes protectively.

"Oh?" his face shone with mischief. He slowly got up and walked towards me. "What did you just call me?"

I took a few steps back before repeating what I just said, "P-pervert!"

"Oh, Hina," he ran his fingers on his hair before licking his lips playfully. "This husband of yours is indeed a pervert but he's your personal pervert."

"What are you planning to do?" I asked as he looked like he was about to tackle me.

"You said you haven't exercised in a while," he purred. "What do you call what we did earlier? Wasn't that considered exercising?"

"Anata," my tone held a warning. "Don't come near me!"

"You're just making me want to pounce on you more," he laughed throatily, he was clearly enjoying this.

"I know what's on your mind," I told him. "We just ate, it's bad to engage in something strenuous when your stomach is still full!"

"I promise I'll be gentle," he gave me a wolfish grin. "We'll take it slow this time…"

"I'm still tired from earlier," I tried to reason although I hate to admit that I was starting to get excited too.

"Liar," he accused although he was still grinning at me. "Come on, Hina, let's balance out what you just ate with exercise!"

"Kaname…"

He smirked, his pupils dilated, then he sprung forward.
