"This is expected and lady Hinata has antic.i.p.ated this outcome," she explained to Megumi whose eyes were openly blaming her.

"You just had to choose Hikaru-san!" came the elfin girl's reply. "We all know she's the best out there!"

"Her ladyship wanted to learn from the best so of course I had to select her!" my head maid was starting to get exasperated.

"You should have—" I cut Megumi's retort with a squeeze of her hand.

I shook my head gently, "You worry about me too much. I'm not some gentle flower, I will live through this." I looked at her in the eyes and was surprised to see that she had some unshed tears in them. "Why are you crying?"

She stubbornly wiped her eyes before averting her gaze. I didn't know whether I should be touched or amused. "I would like to go and help the cousins prepare your dinner, my lady. Please excuse me."

I watched her retreating back with a helpless expression. Megumi is my youngest maid, she is only eighteen but she guards me with a fierceness of a lion mum. It warmed my heart but worried me at the same time. Her fondness for me is a little weird, I find.

I slouched slightly as I ate my evening meal. My ribs hurt although the twins a.s.sured me that I didn't break any. I did not regret practicing earlier. Sure, it was strenuous, but it was also satisfying. My body needed some workout anyway, I haven't hit the gym ever since the week before my j.a.pan trip. I focused on finishing all my workload ahead of time so as not to burden my subordinates when I left.

Speaking of subordinates, I wondered how they were faring.. I've been away for months now. Do I still have my job or have the company terminated me due to my unadvised absence? I drummed by fingers on the low table before me as I contemplated this..

I heard someone clear her throat, I looked up to see that it was Nanami. "My lady, the bath is ready. Megumi boiled several basins of water to give you a warm bath. She said it will help sooth your aching muscles."

"Thank you," I stood up and winced. Ryuko-san and Aya helped me up. I thanked them both.

I let my silk kimono drop from my shoulders as I stood naked in the soft candlelight. I stared at the steaming bath ahead, not noticing the nimble hands that caught my robe before it hit the slatted floor of my bathing chamber.

Nanami and Megumi helped me to the stool. The former maid then ladled warm water over my body while the latter scrubbed my body with a wash cloth. Noticing the sandalwood twigs that were burning in the brazier next to my tub, I leaned forward to smell it.

Both maids then helped me to the tub after rinsing me. I gingerly positioned myself in a sitting position. I noticed that the bath water had some foreign objects floating in them. I grabbed one and sniffed it.

"Ginger?" I asked.

"It will help with your sore muscles, my lady," Megumi replied behind me.

"Thank you for your thoughtfulness, Megu-chan," I lovingly called her in her nickname. I heard her gasp.

"It's my honor to serve you, my lady," she replied, her tone was filled with pleasure and shyness.

I nodded and placed my arms at the edge of the tub. I then closed my eyes, savoring the warmth of the water. After a while, I heard the door slide open and close. I a.s.sumed that the maids wanted to give me some privacy so I thought nothing of it. I flipped my feet in the water, creating ripples as I did so.

Suddenly, I felt two hands ma.s.saging my shoulders. I adjusted myself a bit to give the person more access. The expert hands kneaded my tensed muscles.

"Yes, right there," I purred as my ma.s.seuse gently applied some pressure on my shoulder blades.

"You like this?" came a familiar husky voice. "I should do this for you more often then."

I opened my eyes and looked behind me. My hand flew to my mouth. Still clad in his traveling clothes, Kaname was sitting on the stool I used minutes ago. "Kaname, you're back!"

"Hai," he stood up and opened his arms.

Without hesitating, I got out of the tub and went to his arms. I circled my arms around his waist while he did the same. "Okaerinasai[1], Kaname," I whispered as I stared into his beautiful eyes.

"I'm glad to be back," he grabbed my chin and lowered his head to capture my lips with his.

I returned his kiss with equal vigor. I missed this, I missed him. My mouth became hungrier as the kiss continued. I felt his hands grab my b.u.t.tocks, I lifted my legs and wrapped them around his hips.

"Hinchan," he whispered in between kisses. "I missed my Hinchan.."

"I missed my ojii-chan, too," I replied as I coiled my arms around his neck.

I felt his lips curve in response before breaking our searing kiss. He then buried his nose on my neck. "You smell so nice," he sniffed my skin there. I shuddered involuntarily.

"T-the maids prepared a perfumed b-bath for m-me," I stammered as he nibbled my ear.

"I'm glad they pamper you like a princess."

"It's all thanks to y-you," he was giving my jaw playful bites now. "Thank y-you for giving me s-such capable staff."

"It's my pleasure."

"K-kanameeee," I moaned his name when started kissing my collarbone.

"This ojii-chan wants something," he licked my earlobe, his warm tongue sent shivers down my spine. "Does Hinchan know what it is?"

How could I not? I wanted it, too. "N-no," I lied. "Hinchan does not know what ojii-chan wants."

"Is Hinchan sure?" he whispered seductively on my ear. I nodded, continuing my fake innocence. "Ojii-chan wants to devour Hinchan."

I looked at him and, dropping my play, traced the contours of his lips with an index finger. "What a coincidence, Hinchan wants the same thing."

Kaname smiled and placed me on edge of the tub. I sat there and watched him strip before me. When his last piece of clothing was discarded, I gulped. His body was beautiful and looked like it was carved by an Italian master. My eyes took in his jaw, his biceps, his pectorals.. They were perfect. My eyes then traveled to his rock hard abdominal and oblique muscles before stopping at the most impressive part of his body.

"O-ojii-chan sure is strong," I managed to say as I watched him stroke his manhood.

"Mmm," he purred. "Very strong. Ojii-chan hopes that Hinchan is ready because ojii-chan has been on a forced diet for months now."

I stood up and replaced his busy hand with mine. "Then it's about time ojii-chan indulges. He's ent.i.tled to a cheat day anyway."
