Chapter 45

“This is impossible!”

The Snake Charmer Legion’s officer who fired the gun shouted in disbelief. He was panicking, then fired several more shots continually towards Muyang.

There was a tuk tuk tuk sound of fierce gunfire and a section of fire snakes spewed out. The officer thought that this would definitely kill the other man, but his complacency didn’t last long, and his expression soon became more terrified.

Because after he fired a barrage of bullets, the man on the other side was surprisingly looked calm and didn’t even give a d.a.m.n about his shooting.

The man stretched out his hand, his palm waved a few times in the air, and all the bullets were stopped.

The crunching sound of a dozen bullets landing on the ground struck the hearts of every Snake Charmer Legion’s officer.

“Are all of them dead?” The inhabitants of the small island stared in disbelief at the scene before them.

“They are dead, indeed. The b.a.s.t.a.r.ds got what they deserved.” The others shouted in relief. 

At that moment, the older man remembered the legend he had heard before. He came tremblingly to Muyang, “Could it be… that you are a legendary martial arts pract.i.tioner?”

Muyang nodded his head and admitted, “That’s right. I’m a martial arts pract.i.tioner.” 

“Ah, rumors say that the martial arts school possesses a power that is unattainable by ordinary people. It really is true.” The old man choked with excitement. 

“Who are these people, old man? Why are they making a scene on the island?” Muyang frowned and asked. As far as he knew, the Earth had already entered the era of Central City governance, so it shouldn’t be so disorderly.

The old man sighed and said, “Ugh, they are from the Snake Charmer Legion. The Snake Charmer Legion is a very tyrannical armed organization.

They control a large area nearby and rule over the top. Even the military forces of Central City are unable to restrain them.”

After the old man said this, Muyang almost knew the Snake Charmer Legion’s officer character. They were supposed to be similar to the Red Ribbon Army, a remnant armed organization under the governance of Central City. The Earth was too big.

Although it was officially under Central City’s government, there were many places that the Central City couldn’t handle.

It was just that compared to the Red Ribbon Army from the later generations, the current Snake Charmer Legion was significantly more arrogant.

If the Red Ribbon Army was a private armed group hiding under the governance of the Central City. Then the Snake Charmer Legion was more like an armed force that cut up local areas and had its own territory to rule.

“What are you going to do after this, old man?” Muyang looked at the corpses on the ground and suddenly had a headache.

Muyang nodded. Although he had sympathy for the old man and the island’s inhabitants, he didn’t feel guilty for killing the Snake Charmer Legion’s officers.

Dang dang dang dang, April strained to carry her backpack. Her skinny body walking on the stone-strewn path, and the vegetation around her became progressively thinner as she walked deeper.

April looked a little blankly at the road beneath her. Suddenly, she came to her senses and seemed to have lost her way.

A fierce beast roared in the distance, and then a roll of yellow sand was seen racing across the plain. After a while, a light blue dinosaur chasing an antelope came into view.

The dinosaur was about two meters tall, with dark eyes like light bulbs. 

When it got closer, the blue dinosaur saw April and somehow abandoned its prey, and ran towards April instead.

Thump, thump, thump, the dinosaur gradually getting closer, and the ground began to shake because of its footsteps.

April fell to the ground with her head in her hands. She was so scared that both her eyes immediately filled with tears, “Oooh… it’s horrible, don’t eat me.”

The blue dinosaur had already so close that April could even feel the hot breath exhaling from its nose.

However, after a while, April didn’t feel any pain, so she opened her eyes, which were right in front of the blue dinosaur’s bulbous, dark eyes.

The blue dinosaur was a very young-looking dinosaur, with its big head close to April. Its black horns on the top of the head and sides of the jaws, shining in the sun, and it had a very fat belly.

The white scales and a pair of small wings behind its back puffing out but didn’t make the dinosaur fly; instead, it raised a choking cloud of sand and dust. 

“Squeak! Click!” The young blue dinosaur tilted its head and screamed closer to April, but its eyes were aimed at the candy jar in April’s arms. 

“Do you want some honey?” April responded, shakily opening the lid of the candy jar and handing it over.

“Hiss~~” the young blue dinosaur stuck out its tongue, licked it, and then let out a happy cry. 

The childlike of April seemed to have forgotten her fear at this point. She happily lifted the candy jar and continued to feed the dinosaur honey.

“You like them too! These sweet honey are the best. Try them again!” For children, the best thing to do was to share their happiness. With a common interest, they could quickly become good friends. 

“Oh.” The young blue dinosaur licked April’s finger, then her cheek.

“Hehe, don’t lick it. Can you take me away with you? I can’t find my way back.”

“Oh-ka.” The young blue dinosaur called out and acted as he understood.
