Speranza resisted her urge to roll her eyes at his comment. Like if he would wear makeup.

But if he did, how hilarious it would be, only at the thought of it she burst into an uncontrollable fit of laughter.

Seeing her hold on to her cramping stomach as she laughed uncontrollably he lift one eyebrow.

"I wonder what wife finds so funny?"

She glanced at him before erupting again!

This time he wrapped his arms around her and spoke to her ear.

He patted her upper arms until she finally calmed her bouts of laughter.

"I was thinking on how you would look all dolled up with red blood lips black eyeliners. And I found it hilarious."

She said in an out of breath speech.

Breathing in and out slowly to calm her pounding heart as she laid slightly limp in his arms, finally relaxing she sighed.

Pressing her head on his chest, she closed her eyes.

"You should get some rest do not overreach yourself, after all, you need plenty of rest while it is still possible.

Then his gaze swept over the girls that had gone mute quiet.

"You girls better take good care of her. Do not let her exert herself."

Looking at Sakura, he said. "Get a sunshade umbrella for her to rest under it."

Nodding the girl then wordlessly left the group to fetch the required item.

Saya and Chie used full feathered fans to fan the now sleeping Speranza.

A good hour pa.s.sed until the vigil screamed Sea Merge ahead!
