Knight: Over The Edge Part 26

"Luke are you hitting on our sister?" Cole asks.

"I'm just innocently flirting."

"You innocent? Don't make me laugh."

I say while laughing at the fact we are making Luke and Julie uncomfortable.

I watch both of their faces and body language. Surely not? Have I been that un.o.bservant this past month?

"OMG" I exclaim looking at Julie's blushing face.

"Kat I need to see you in the bedroom please" Julie pleads with me.

"Sure."

We walk at a clipped pace into the bedroom leaving the stunned guys behind.

"You almost ratted me out in front of my brothers" she says as soon as the door closes behind us.

"I didn't mean too. It was just a shock when I figured out what is going on" I grab her arm "When did you two start f.u.c.king?"

I'm blunt. d.a.m.n filter missing.

"About three weeks ago. It was kind of an oops thing the first time, but then we find our way into each other's bed every night."

"Holy s.h.i.t this is big." I pull her to the bed and we sit. "Do you think you have feelings for him?"

"I don't know. I like him a lot. He makes me laugh and smile, He makes me feel happy something I haven't truly felt in years."

"Oh my... I wonder what he thinks of you. I'm going to have to find out soon."

"Kat please don't interfere."

"Oh I won't. I'll let y'all f.u.c.k it up all on your own. I just want to know the inside scoop from both of you while you do."

I'm well aware of what it's like sleeping with Luke so I can't help it when I ask personal questions. I can't believe Julie is blushing so much. She doesn't even recognize how much she likes him that just the mention of him makes her cheeks pink.

"Cole's going to flip when he finds out" Julie says. "He's never approved of a guy I'm with."

"I don't know something tells me he won't mind this one so much. As much as he hates to admit it he likes and respects Luke even knowing that Luke and I slept together. That right there makes your brother want to hate him yet he can't."

I rea.s.sure her with a hug.

"Plus, you got me on your side to help with Cole."

"Really?" she asks "I didn't want you to feel like you had to take sides in this."

"Oh honey I'm going to love when this all comes out into the open. However we might want to wait until after Trish's funeral. We can pretend we care she's dead right?"

Julie and I start laughing together. When Justin busts in on us. He looks at us like we are crazy and maybe we are.

"Seth wants Kat."

Julie and I pull ourselves together and then walk out to the sitting area. Seth is beside Cole and I move to sit on his other side.

"What's up buddy?"

"I just wanted you with me."

"Sorry Julie and I needed a bit of girl time."

"It's okay" he says while laying his head on me "Cole told me that's what y'all were doing."

I glance at my boyfriend and smile. Why am I seeing him in a new light all of a sudden? It's like nothing from the past matters anymore. Its only about the here and now. I listen half way to the chatter in the room around me but I'm lost in my own thoughts about Cole.

He sends me over the edge always and forever, in and out of the bedroom. I can forgive him, he can forgive me and we can build a life together. That's what we will do from this point on. Life is too short to not grab happiness while you can.

Sal Martin would be taken care of after we were done with dealing with Trish's death. He would regret that he made us targets when he found out it brought us back together. And together Cole and I are unstoppable.

Chapter 24.

There is a semblance of normal around the Knight mansion. For the first time in weeks, Cole and I are not sleeping with Seth between us. Cole didn't let his brother sharing a bed with us get in the way of our s.e.x life. I can't tell you how many times, in the last month, he would come into my office at work, lock the door, and bend me over my own desk.

Luke flew back to California a week after the funeral. He is headed back to the East Coast though. Bruce made him too good of an offer to refuse. His feelings for Julie factored into his move as well. Yes, Luke the player had fallen for a girl, my sister Julie. Go figure. It should be interesting to see what Cole's reaction is when he finds out.

Drew is back to normal. Cole has him helping in the office though. I wasn't stupid Drew and Rocco are there to protect Gracie and me. He has beefed up security since the Martins decided Trish's funeral would be a good time for a drive by. It was meant as a scare tactic and warning. It only made us mad. Lucky for us no one was hurt during the drive by but there were a lot of tombstones that were messed up that day.

The Circle is meeting frequently. I have not asked to be included in those meetings. I tried to give Cole as much respect in that area as I could. However when we are alone I have him filling me in on what happened. I am not going to let him keep me in the dark. Especially since there is a concern he has with the traitor. One of the names he kept to himself and shared only with me was a member of the Circle neither of us believed that someone that close would betray us but at this point we aren't taking any chances.

"Kitten, what are you thinking about?"

Cole asks me, his hand on my leg as he sits beside me on the couch in our room. Yes, it's our room now true to his word Cole was in my bed the very night Trish died. His belongings were completely moved in by the next day.

"How do you know I'm thinking? Maybe I'm just chilling."

"Right" he replies.

"Fine." I heave a sigh, "I'm thinking about a lot of things, but most importantly I'm thinking of how you and I are unstoppable together. That Sal Martin is going to regret messing with us."

Cole chuckles at my words. Which only fuels my fire.

"Ha ha... no, I mean really regret it" I turn toward Cole "By the time we're done with him it'll make anyone think twice before they mess with the Knights."

"Kitten, you're starting to scare me a little,"

"Why?"

"Seriously it's like your becoming cold. There's a darkness to you."

His hand moves up and down my leg. The worry is clear in his eyes.

"Cole if it comes down to us or them. They're going down whatever it takes."

I know you shot that guy years ago but it's different when you kill someone."

"I can do it."

"Okay killer. How about I take you to bed and you take your frustrations out on my c.o.c.k?"

I pause looking at him stunned. Did he just say that to me? Judging by the expression on his face, he did. He has a smug smile in place.

"Are you s.e.x starved?"

"Yes."

"Bulls.h.i.t, I f.u.c.ked you in your office today at work."

"I know" he says his smile getting bigger.

I shove him away from me. "Get away from me pervert."

We are laughing together as he tugs me by the hand to the bedroom. When I think he is going to stop us at the bed he surprises me by continuing into the bathroom. It isn't long before he starts the shower. His attention turns back to me, he begins stripping my clothes off me. His clothes follow mine to the floor. He picks me up and lifts me into the shower setting me under the hot water.

Panic seizes me. Then I release it. It's okay if Cole sees my tattoo up close and personal. He knows I have the Knight shield he has seen it when taking me from behind. However, he's been so distracted he's never looked closely at my tattoo, or he would see his name inked forever on my body.

He steps under the spray of water with me. I'm behind him in the shower. The water mists over us. My hand immediately goes to his shield inked on his skin. Like all those years ago I begin tracing the shield with my fingers. My finger reaches the portion symbolizing love and I freeze. I can't move. My breathing becomes shallow. It's the first time I notice he has an addition to his shield, one that brings tears to my eyes. My fingertip begins tracing my own name. How have I missed this before now?

"Kitten" his husky voice calls out.

"Yea" I answer my voice shaky.

"You okay?"

"You have my name on you?"

He faces me.

"I got it done a few months after you left."

I turn my back to him. I bend over slightly.

"Look at my shield please."

I can barely contain the emotion in my voice.

"I've seen it."

"No really look at it please."

I beg.

His finger begins tracing the shield on my back. I know the moment he has found it. His name hidden in the love section of the shield.

"Holy f.u.c.k Kitten."

I straitening back up and turn toward him.

"I know right?"

Somehow, at the same time we both had each other's names inked into the portion of the shield symbolizing love. If that wasn't a sign that we belonged together, I don't know what was.

"Kitten" his voice is husky "I need in you now."

"Okay" I say almost as if I was high.

His hands grip my arms turning me around roughly. He pushes me so that I am bent over.

"Put your hands down."

I do as he instructs and place my hands on the shower seat.

In one swift movement Cole, is b.a.l.l.s deep in me. His hands over my tattoo. I should tattoo his name on me in some other places if it gets him this worked up. I love every moment as he builds me up to an o.r.g.a.s.m before having his own.

After the quick coupling, we take time showering and washing each other. This is a moment of tenderness and love. This is the side of Cole only I ever get to see. He has a soft spot for his family, but it's still not like what I get behind closed doors. No one would ever believe me if I told them how Cole can be with me.

Drying off after our shower, I look up and smile softly at Cole as he stares deeply into my eyes.

"I love you Kitten."

"I love you to Cole."

This time he picks me up off my feet and carries me into our bedroom. He tosses me on the bed. A giggle escapes me as I bounce and then he is climbing on to the bed with me. I pretend to try to get away from him.

"Where are you going?"

"Nowhere."

I speak softly. I love when Cole is rough with me. In fact, I want to go back to Knight's Castle with him and explore more of the options we have there. I bet I would shock him if I told him I wanted to watch some of the demonstrations.

"My good little Kitten" he says gently.

"Cole?"
