"Would you care to explain, my love?" Aster looked up to find the moon's glow on his confused face.
"I fear, that if I were to explain why I cannot marry you... I would be in danger of your sorrow and rage," Iris declared.
"Tell me anyways!" Aster yelled, his voice was as loud as a barking dog.
With a sigh Iris explained, "Aster, you are like the brother I never had. In addition to that I'm in love with another man."
After a long pause in their conversation, hurriedly, she blurted, "Aster I'm sorry! But I thought it would be fun to toy with your emotions...but I never really thought you would actually fall in love with me. And I thought you wouldn't mind since you're the G.o.d of the underworld"
"Wouldn't mind!" Aster growled. "You thought I wouldn't mind!? I may be the G.o.d of the underworld but I have feelings too you know!" Aster spit in Iris's face with disgust.
As tears dripped from her eyes, she muttered "I'm so sorry!"
