Satan's real intention is not to make people completely forget about G.o.d, and make them woship everything else but him. He took more pleasure into making people a.s.sociate other G.o.ds with him.

As he knew that G.o.d does not accept being a.s.sociated with other dieties more than actually not believing him at all!
