Diary Of A Bitch 18 Get A Hold Of Yourself!!!!

I totally forgot I wasn't totally alone, this b.a.s.t.a.r.d was staring amusedly at me like I was some animal showing a great performance in a cage. I couldn't help but feel threatened as his staff suddenly jerked back to life,"what am I going to do?!!",I've not even been able to resist his deliciousness even though I f.u.c.king knew it was bad for me.

"Good morning, I wasn't aware you are still here,go freshen up let me heat up something for you", I blurted out anxiously and turned almost immediately to the cabinet to pick up two packs of noodles.

That seemed like a stupid move because I wasn't able to reach it no matter how I tried, " why didn't I just tell him I just tell him to get his G.o.dd.a.m.n clothes and get the f.u.c.k out of here?", I heard him chuckle and started towards me,I went numb with anxiety.

"G.o.d please why me?" I sobbed silently but didn't dare turn around, I was too aware of his closeness that I imagined his heartbeat rate. I held tight to the a table knife that was close enough for me to grab without awakening suspicion.

He came close,too close. Close enough for his rod to poke my back. I inhaled sharply as he bent down to....kiss me?. He didn't kiss me but sniffed my neck, his satisfactory groan sent sparks flying all over again. He suddenly grabbed my waist and spun me around to face him,the knife fell in the process and caught his attention.

He swiftly bent and picked up the the knife "I'm so dead" I mumbled to myself,my face totally drained of colour. He tested the sharpness of the blade and made to stab me. I closed my eyes and expected pain,but after counting to 30 and felt nothing,I slowly opened my eyes.

"You seem to like stabbing people with knives,but this knife is definitely not sharp enough to cause much impact, next time go for a fork instead' he said casually as he handed over 3 packs of noodles to me " oh and I like my noodles extra spicy". He then turned around and left

I visibly sighed with relief as I antic.i.p.ated more. Though I had a little tinge of disappointment as he didn't even kiss me, "maybe I'm not up to his standards after all" I muttered to myself I lighted up the stove "what the f.u.c.k happened to your resolve to stay the h.e.l.l away from him?". It was the demon again. I shrugged and fully concentrated on cooking

12 minutes later

" hmmmmmm...have you ever considered being a chef" he said between mouthfuls of noodles. "everything is just in their right proportions, you remind me of...." his voice trailed off leaving me with a brow raised.

me: of???

Kelvin: a friend, why are you not eating?

he clearly didn't like discussing his personal matters. "I'll be having brunch later with Lizzy" I said as I tidied up the utensils. "I'm.....I'm sorry about yesterday" I mumbled as I took off the ap.r.o.n and wiped my hands. He was almost done with his meal,savoring every bite like his life depended on it. He sighed and "was that sadness I just saw in his eyes?", I thought to myself. Even if it was just for a few seconds, I knew and recognize that look any day.

" missing someone? " I took his plates and dumped the remnants if the noodles into a nearby bin, he just sighed and gulped down a gla.s.s of water like it was wine "hmmmm....it doesn't hurt if you share you know?". I could feel his glare even if my back was to him. He walked towards me and my the next few words I was going to say got stuck to my throat, " OK Vee Vee, you provoked him this time,enjoy " my demon said and I swallowed hard.

His sudden change from a s.e.xy,shameless hunk to a distressed,angry lion startled me,as the grabbed my waist and forcefully kissed my lips. No,that was more of a bite than a kiss. I couldn't help but remember that nightmare, I shivered and tried to push him away. It only enraged him as he became rougher and scarier. I was trying my best not to fall apart but this was too much. His previous conversations with the mystery woman,the nightmare, his smiles as he dug that dagger into me and what was happening now kept flashing and making me insane.

I gave his thighs a powerful kick and punched his face hard simultaneously. "get a hold of yourself!!!" I screamed at myself more than to him. I immediately regretted my actions and went to help him up. His nose was bleeding and I felt sick,the moment he was up on his feet,he released himself from my grasp and grumbled out and apology before casually strolling out like nothing happened. I was in a daze until I heard screeching of car tyres and zooming off.

"What's wrong with me?, I did the right thing right?", my demon was silent. I couldn't figure out why what happened happened, and why I reacted the way I did and why I was feeling rotten afterwards.

I went upstairs and took a light shower before changing into a simple light gown with bows and pleats,I styled my hair that was definitely not African, I wonder where I got the long curly hair and light skin color with grey eyes from. Both of my parents are Nigerians and had none of my features though I really didn't know what my real dad looked like. I applied light makeup and put on flat office shoes. I packed the pizza and Lizzy's takeout in a woven basket and walked over to my car,placing the basket gently in the booth,I drove out of c.o.ker's Villa.
