"Then?" my father asked in an ice cold voice.

"I will follow Jiejie to the Palace. I asked father's help to persuade Huantaizi to make me become his concubine," I said without hesitation. My Father paused long enough before standing up. He took a small stick near him. A small bamboo stick to punish me when I was little.

"Where are your hands!" Father ordered with cold voice. I was surprised with his reaction. I am his daughter. His biological daughter, but why would he want to punish me now. I just asked him for a little help.

"Your hand!" My father asked again and slowly whipping my hands. As my expected, my father hit my hands with the bamboo stick.

"How dare you asked that?" My mother screma. She become hysterical after heard my words.

"I know that Huangtaizi loves Jiejie now. But, someday he will know that I am more suitable for him. One day he will love me more than Jiejie," I said and my father looked at me with a flushed face.

"Did you hear? How shallow is our daughter's mind. She's gone crazy," my father said in loudly voice while pointing at my face with his index finger.

"Father, I am your biological daughter. Why do you prefer to cheer up your witch adopted daughter than me?" I said loudly.

I can't stand my angry feeling after heard his words. I speak up my mind without thinking. Unexpected situation happened. I received a slap from my mother. Landed smoothly on my cheek and caused pain.

He died because he saved your father from a robber attack," said my mother loudly and trembling with tears. I looked at him in disbelief. Yun Jing Fei's father saved my father? I looked at the father who had turned back on me and I knew he was trying to hold back his anger.

Well, now I know why my parents act verry kind to Yun Jing Fei. Even always prioritize Yun Jing Fei more than theirs childrens.

It's true that Yun Jing Fei's father saved my father, but should I bury my desire to repay him? Don't I have the right to be happy and reach for my dreams? Father and mother are on Yun Jing Fei's side, how about me? Who I am to them?

"Servant takes your Miss to his room, before I kill her! Do it!" my father asked in a thunderous voice. Two servants who stand in front of study rooms immediately approached me. I let the servants hold me back and take me to my room again without fighting.
