The Damn Hunter 37 The Night With One Star

A wooden door slowly opens as a figure dress in all black sneaks out from the room; the figure is actually Ye Xing who wanted to sneak out again tonight. She then suddenly realizes that she had no reason to sneak out so she quietly heads back into her room.

"Why did I want to go out tonight, I know that I'm not going to meet him?" Ye Xing said to herself as she sits on her bed and looks at the moon outside her window. She then shakes her head to clear her head and says to herself. "Ye Xing what is wrong with you?" She then tries to get some sleep; the moonlight shines on her as she tosses around in bed.

She got up and sneaks out from her room again, this time she decided to go out and get some fresh air. Ye Xing tiptoes outside her sister's room as she knows that after what happened last night it would be hard for her to sneak out as she pleases, she slowly walks down the stairs and reach the door leading her outside into the night with a key in hand.

"YE XING PUT DOWN THE KEY AND GO BACK INTO YOUR ROOM NOW!"

Ye Xing's sister pulls her ear causing her to drop the key right in front of the door; she then drags her back up stairs and into her room.

After her sister had left Ye Xing smirks and walks to the window, she opens the window and climbs down slowly then disappears into the night.

The moon hangs alone out on the night sky as the stars disappear behind the clouds, the cars headlight shines onto the streets as Ye Xing walks on the sidewalk looking at the moon. Once in a while she would look around searching for someone but she can't seem to find the one who she is looking for.

She continues walking until she reaches the playground, dishearten she sits down on the swing and looks at the clouds while her mind drifts away. Without her noticing a few people are sneaking up on her from behind, the smiles on their faces sends chills down the spine to anyone watching.

Suddenly the group of people starts dropping like flies as a palm strikes their head, under the moon Yang Guang silently knock out the group of people easily. He looks at Ye Xing who is still oblivious to everything that is happening behind her, Yang Guang let out a sigh and drags away the people that he had just beaten up outside.

As he was leaving he sees a d.a.m.n creature stalking Ye Xing, he summons his rattan pole and dash towards the d.a.m.n creature. Yang Guang make quick work of the d.a.m.n creature without Ye Xing noticing at all, all the sudden there is another bird like d.a.m.n creature trying to swoop down at Ye Xing.

Yang Guang aims his rattan pole and pierce its throat, just as the blood is about to fall on Ye Xing's head Yang Guang jumps and grabs every drop with his hands.

Yang Guang then looks at Ye Xing and thought to himself. "This girl is definitely a magnet for trouble; everything just wants a piece of her."

Yang Guang then sits down behind Ye Xing on the ground with his back facing her as he takes out his phone and texts Yu Chen.

Yang Guang: I have something to do, help me hunt till dawn okay?

Yu Chen: Did something happen?

Yang Guang has gone off line

Ye Xing sit on the swing, the wind blows strongly yet the stars are still behind the clouds. The moonlight glows onto Ye Xing as her long black hair fly freely with the wind. "He is still not showing up, I knew it that it is impossible to meet him." Ye Xing thought to her as her blue eyes sparkle with the moonlight.

Yang Guang then takes of his hat to let his grey hair out as he looks at the moon, his green eyes reflects the gentle light of the moon as he thought to himself. "I meet her two nights in a row and both nights there must be some pervert who is after her. Maybe I should try to walk the other direction when I catch a glimpse of her next time."

So close yet so far, the two of them sits with their backs facing each other never looking at the other face. She wanted to meet him while he wanted to avoid her, yet they should know that what they wanted now will change one day as they continue to sit right behind each other till the first ray of the sun shines onto the earth.
