Jessy released a deep sigh. "I will think about it. From now on, I owned his life to do as I please," she said firmly not wanting to be swayed by Roden's begging.
"What do you mean, Jess?" he asked fearfully.
"I will bring him to the Facility with me," she concluded.
Roden's face turns gloomy. It turns out that he can't even save his brother, but what matters most to him right now is that his entire family and clan will be safe from now on. As long he will follow and obey the Crossbred's demands, they will be safe. As for his brother's life, he can only hope that Jessy can forgive him one day and give him another chance to redeem himself just for the sake of their friendship.
"Jess, I will leave the room now. I will give you my decision later before the one hour allotted time is over." Roden ambled towards the door with defeated shoulders and exited the room.
Jessy lay her body down on the bed and stared at the bottle, Jagger had his back on her, clearly avoiding her.
'Hmph! What a proud arrogant man!' Jessy said to herself.
She fixed her stare at the ceiling wondering if she was too bold to make an offer to Roden by using the king's name. The truth is, she doesn't know what the king's decision will be if he will finally learn the truth of the existence of the savage vampires hiding inside the cave.
But one thing is clear, this time she will make sure her voice and reasoning will be heard. Too much bloodshed had occurred in the past she doesn't want a b.l.o.o.d.y repeat again. She wants to convince the king to make peace with the enemies, for the good of all.
After Roden finally agreed to her terms, she will teleport back into the Facility and inform the king about her discovery. She knows that they are deeply worried when she went missing and already looking for her whereabouts as of this moment. She can no longer stay in this place, she needs to return home.
She glanced at the bottle. Right now she has no specific plans yet when it comes to Jagger, 'coz she had a much bigger problem to face than thinking about him. But she needs to bring him back to the Facility with her and hides her in her room.
One hour later.
Roden returned to the room, he already made a decision. "Jess, I agree with all your demands. I want to personally meet the king anytime at his convenience," he said.
"Excellent decision!" Jessy rose to her feet. "I'm leaving now back to the Facility now to inform the king," she said. She picked up the bottle and stared at it for a moment and waved her hand over the entire length of the bottle. She transformed it into a beautiful decorative bottle with yellow, pink and red flowers, including green leaves adorning the bottle. "Beautiful!" she murmured.
Roden sighed heavily 'coz he can no longer see his brother. "Jess, there is one thing you need to know about that bottle. If you accidentally opened the lid of the bottle and the smoke will come out that means my brother will die instantly. If you want him out of the bottle, I am the only one who can do it. Only my magic spell can bring him safely out of the bottle," he explained.
Jessy looked at Roden's face, a.s.sessing his emotion. It must be very hard for him to imprison his brother inside the bottle, but at the same time, he had proven to her that he and his family are worth saving.
He earned her respect by saving her.
Because of that exact reason she also wants to help him.
"I'm going home now..." Jessy said.
They exited the room.
"Please, take me to the entrance of the cave, I want to see it," she requested politely.
"Alright, let's go," Roden responded.
He walked ahead and Jessy was following him when all of a sudden there was a commotion near the entrance of the cave. The vampires who guarded the entrance came rushing inside the cave almost colliding with Roden and Jessy, they got terrified expressions on their faces.
"Calm down! What happened!?" Roden caught the arm of one of the fleeing guards.
"They are burning the surrounding of this cave with flames, Chief!" answered the vampire.
"Who?" Roden asked.
"The cape crusader and we all know what it means, it's the king and his men! They are attacking us!" said the guard.
Jessy and Roden stared at each other.
It's just a matter of time before the cave's entrance will be revealed and Jessy doesn't want the king's men coming into the cave at once and ma.s.sacre everyone. She breathed deeply and faced Roden. "I want you to gather everyone in one place and when the king will finally make an appearance, instruct everyone to bow to the king and tell your clan to beg for mercy and kindness," she said.
Roden nodded his head. "I will."
"Go now!" Jessy commanded. "And one more thing, let's keep Jagger's presence a secret. Once they know, the king would be furious! Got it?"
Roden nodded again.
With a deep sigh, Jessy sprinted out of the cave and zoomed into the air.
And she was aghast to see the forest burning, fire is everywhere.
"Jessy is up there!" one of the king's men saw her.
King Antone and Adam raised their heads to her direction and they zoomed right into her side.
Adam enveloped Jessy in a tight embrace. "I'm glad you are alright! Where have you been? What happened to you?"
"Put the fire out first. I don't want to see the forest and bushes get destroyed by the fire," she commanded.
"Alright," Adam said and he immediately zoomed around the area putting all the fire out with just the wave of his hand.
King Antone inspected his daughter in law looking for any sign of physical wound or something on her body. Huge relief washed over him when he can't find anything that can show him that she was harmed in any way or met an accident. "Are you okay, child?" he asked, his voice full of concern for her welfare.
Jessy looked at the king. "Thanks for asking, Father, I'm perfectly alright. But I need to tell you something important..."
The king's brows furrowed. "What is it, child? Tell me."
"I found the remaining savage vampires hiding in this cave...but Father...you got to promise me...you won't hurt them..." she said.
The king's eyes widen upon the mention of the savage vampires' name. "W-what do you mean?"
"I have stayed with them all the time after I went missing. They never harmed me, they took good care of me, please don't kill them," she pleaded on their behalf.
The king was confused. "Child, why would you side with the enemy?" his voice filled with disappointment.
Jessy sighed. "Father, can we go back to the Facility first? We will continue our conversation there, please?"
Adam comes back to their side and stared at his father and Jessy having a serious conversation. "What's up, guys?" he asked.
"Let's go back to the Facility, son, and discuss an important issue concerning Jessy's discovery," King Antone said.
He addressed his men in the ground. "Men, guard this place, do not touch anything and do not harm anyone. Wait for my return," he commanded.
The vampires wearing black cape nodded their heads and responded. "We will obey the highness command," they all said in unison.
Jessy, Adam and King Antone teleported back into the Facility.
