After her break, Jessy went to check Hannah in her room, the pregnant woman was not there, of course, she knows where to find her! She left the room and went to Zain's prison room. She entered the room in her invisible form. Her eyes widened when she can't find a single soul inside the empty room!
OMG!
Where is Zain!?
Where is Hannah!?
Did she miss something?
Did the royal couple finally allow Zain to get out of the room? But the guards were still outside the room? Her heart was pounding hard in her rib cage all of a sudden. Is it possible that the couple went out of the room without the guards' knowledge? If she will ask the guards they will inform the royal couple right away that the prince was gone!
She exited the room and walk in the hallway in her visible form. What's she's gonna do? Find the queen and ask where was the couple?
Out of the corner of her eyes she caught sight of Princess Abigail going to Hannah's room.
She walked faster and catches up with the girl. "Abigail, did you see your brother Zain and Hannah? I can't find them in their respective room!" she said panicking.
Princess Abigail's face was pale. "I'm also looking for them, I regularly check on them, but I'm shocked to see them gone today! I will try to check on Hannah's room maybe they're already back inside!"
They entered Hanna's room, it's empty!
Dang! Where could they be? Princess Abigail bit her lower lip, feeling agitated.
Jessy looked closely at the princess's flushed face, she was already suspecting something wrong was going on. "What is it, Abi? How many times the couple has done this—going out of the prison room together?" she asked worriedly.
Princess Abigail stared at her toes not wanting to face Jessy's penetrating gaze.
"Did you allow them? How many times?" Jessy asked again in a persistent manner.
Princess Abigail scratches her head feeling remorseful. "Just two times, they always come back after one hour, my brother told me that if I won't allow him to get out from his room once in a while he will die in his room out of boredom he just want to inhale some fresh air outside, so I allow them to go out together. They always come back on the agreed time, but tonight they stay longer outside, I'm getting worried why they had not returned yet!" she explained in an agitated voice.
"Did your mother and father knew that you were allowing them to go out once in a while?" she asked. If the royal couple will know about these, Abigail will be punished for sure.
Princess Abigail shook her head. "No. I didn't ask their permission because they won't allow it for sure, I pity my brother so much so yeah...it's all my fault," there were tears of regrets in her eyes.
Jessy sighed and patted the princess's tensed shoulder. "Shhh, don't cry yet, I'm sure I can find them and bring them back here," she said confidently.
"I will go with you!" the princess offered. "We can find them faster if there will be two of us looking for them!" she insisted. Being outside is better than staying inside the Facility not knowing when her brother and Hannah will come back.
"No. Please stay here just in case your parents discover their disappearance, you can tell them everything. I will go out of the Facility and find them fast and bring them back before your parents will know," Jessy said. "Abigail, promise me you will never allow them to leave the Facility ever again, okay?"
The princess nods her head. "Yes—I promised!"
"Good!" Jessy said that's all she needed to hear from the princess. "I will go now to find them, wait for our return in your brother's room, stay relax and calm," she looked at the visibly shaken girl one last time before going to her room, she reached her room in no time. Once inside, she hastily donned her black ensemble on her body and teleported herself outside the Facility in her invisible form. The one thing she loves about being invisible is that no one can see her but she can see everyone, it's very convenient for her.
She hovered above the trees.
"Where could they be at this hour?" the darkness has spread out three hours ago. She will try to find them for two hours and then go back to the Facility to see if they already returned, then she will go to the clinic to continue blood transfusion, if they were still missing during those time she will have to find them again after wrapping up the last blood transfusion for the night, only one more recipient left to go, then she can concentrate in finding the missing couple the whole night. She's hoping that at this moment they were now back in the Facility or else, she will have no choice but to tell the king and queen that the couple was missing.
She looked up at the horizon and the sky above, there is no moon and stars tonight, total darkness enveloped the entire forest, even the fireflies were not keen on showing their glory tonight.
If the couple just wants to inhale fresh air they don't have to go far...they could always go up into the outer part of the Facility and visit the dome where the flower garden was located.
Hmm—where could they be at this moment?
Where she will start?
Just start somewhere! her mind said. She went down...and wandered endlessly hovering in the air barely touching the ground trying to avoid the branches of the trees that were sticking from every direction, she might be in her invisible form but her eyes might get poked by something if she won't be careful enough in advancing without seeing carefully where she was going.
After spending time in the ground...
Nothing worthwhile in there, time to go up for a few minutes and see the birds-eye view above.
She hovered above the trees...nothing up there as well. She lowered herself into the ground and continue hovering ahead...then she saw a tiny light flickering in the distance!
W-was that a bonfire?
She zoomed towards the area...
In there...she saw a small clearing flanked by trees with big trunks. Huge relief washed over her when she saw the two people she's been looking for sitting close to each other, Zain and Hannah!
Whew!
Finally, she found them!
She was about to approach them when her eyes caught something! There's a lone figure lurking in the dark a few meters away from the bonfire!
What figure is that? It... looks like the form of a man!
She was so excited to see the couple—she did not notice the figure's presence when she went closer to inspect the area.
