Chapter 468 – Soon-to-be Sister
“Shhh, shhh.” My dad desperately signaled Auntie Ren, “There are guests inside, Xiao Lin and his cla.s.smates, don’t let the children hear.”
Auntie Ren glanced into the room, but because of the angle, she only saw me sitting on the bed. I awkwardly waved at Auntie Ren and gave a bitter smile.
Auntie Ren ignored me and dragged my dad away from the room with his tie. The cla.s.s leader and I remained in the room and looked at each other in dismay.
“What’s going on?” The cla.s.s leader asked, “That woman… I think she’s Xiao Qin’s mother?”
It wasn’t strange for the cla.s.s leader to recognize Auntie Ren since she came to school to pick up Xiao Qin before.
I thought I couldn’t really hide it anymore, so I confessed:
“She is Xiao Qin’s mother. Xiao Qin and I are childhood friends, so Auntie Ren would also be our neighbor, hehehe…”
I felt like I was laughing like a moron.
“But didn’t you guys already move?” The cla.s.s leader pointed out the discrepancy, “Why did Auntie Ren come looking for uncle Ye and she was also very impolite.”
“Maybe you saw wrong. Auntie Ren is impatient to everyone…”
“Something seems off… I remember Xiao Qin is also from a single parent family. Does Auntie Ren have a work relationship with uncle Ye?”
The cla.s.s leader had great intuition. They didn’t have a work relationship, but they did have a secret relationship.
The cla.s.s leader tapped the coffee table in front of her, “Ye Lin, come over here, I have things I want to ask you.”
Huh, is she going to interrogate me after interrogating my dad?
I felt like the cla.s.s leader was treating me like she would interrogate a criminal, so I told the cla.s.s leader to come on the bed instead since it was softer.
“Come sit over here.” The cla.s.s leader beckoned again.
“No, the bed’s better, you come on the bed.”
I then realized it was a bad time to say ‘come on bed’ while the cla.s.s leader and I were alone in a hotel room.
The worst part was at the same time, you could hear the creaking sounds of a bed coming from the room above my dad’s room. It was soon intertwined with a man’s heavy breathing sounds and a woman’s shriek.
“Hubby, hubby, you’re amazing. I’m going to die, I’m going to dieee~~”
Im my experience, married woman rarely come to hotels, so who knows if the hubby she was talking about was her actual husband. But I do know when she said she was going to die, she wasn’t actually going to die.
This hotel has no soundproofing, no wonder it’s on the cheaper side, it’s so they can attract university students. So that’s why my dad’s work efficiency dropped, it’s because he get disturbed by these noises every night.
A person without a brain would even know what was going on upstairs. The cla.s.s leader’s face turned red, then she stood up and said seriously:
“It looks like Uncle Ye won’t be back any time soon. I’ve already accomplished my goal, so I’ll be leaving first.”
She said as she headed to leave.
It would be a crime to keep the cla.s.s leader with what was going on upstairs.
“Cla.s.s leader.” I caught up from behind and closed the door on my way out, “I’ll go with you. It’s not safe for you to walk alone at night, it would be bad if a repeat of Friday occurred.”
After carefully pondering the matter, the cla.s.s leader decided to accept my offer, she thought I shouldn’t stay in that room anymore either.
But she still stubbornly added: “I could escape by myself as long as I don’t get blocked in a narrow area.”
“Better safe than sorry.” I advised, “You have to walk at night because you did a home visit for me, so if you ran into trouble on the way home, then it would be my responsibility. Instead of taking responsibility after an incident, I might as well take responsibility now and safely escort you home.”
The cla.s.s leader looked at me with interest, “What are you referring to when you say take responsibility after an incident? And how would you take responsibility?”
I didn’t know how to answer, then I heard Auntie Ren’s voice from around the corner.
“I don’t need you to take responsibility. I just want you to go with me to get an abortion and sign your name.”
Why is Auntie Ren such an impetuous person? At least wait until you’ve left the hotel to argue with my dad! Since the cla.s.s leader is very smart, she should understand everything now.
As expected, the cla.s.s leader stopped abruptly and her shocked expression told me she knew the ‘relationship’ between Auntie Ren and my dad.
It was followed by my dad’s patient persuasion, “Let’s calm down for a bit. The baby is innocent, he would definitely be sad if he knew we were going to abort him.”
“That’s why we’re going to do it before he grows a head.”
“Abortions also harms your body…”
“It’s better than giving birth to a nameless baby.”
“Um, if you don’t mind, I’m willing to…”
“Keep dreaming, I won’t marry you even if all the men in the world died.”
“Hong Li, that hurts….”
“Don’t call me Hong Li.”
In order to avoid b.u.mping into them in the hallway, the cla.s.s leader and I took the stairs. It was a quiet and secluded place since most customers used the elevators.
The cla.s.s leader walked down the stairs with her head lowered and deep in thought.
She didn’t talk to me for a long time, and I didn’t know what to say either.
When we reached the platform between the first and the second floor, the cla.s.s leader stopped and asked me:
“You already knew about it a long time ago, right?”
She didn’t make herself clear, but we both knew what she was talking about.
I nodded in shame, “Auntie Ren and my dad were quarantined inside the hotel, then an accident happened…”
The cla.s.s leader realized the bed I called her to sit on earlier may have likely been the bed where the ‘accident’ occurred.
It actually wasn’t that bed, it was the one next to it.
“They are both adults, yet they are both so irresponsible…” The cla.s.s leader was displeased, “Why didn’t they think about the kids a bit before it happened?”
I felt like the cla.s.s leader was asking too much, “Well it can’t be helped since they were drunk.”
The cla.s.s leader became angrier, “So Uncle Ye went wild after getting drunk? I know he doesn’t have the courage to push down Auntie Ren when he’s sober.”
Umm… it was actually Auntie Ren who went wild after getting drunk and pushed down my dad.
“How long did they have a relationship?”
“Huh?” If I’m not mistaken, it was only for one night.
The cla.s.s leader didn’t believe me when she heard they were only together for one night.
“Don’t lie. Do you think it’s a drama where you get pregnant after only one time?”
Well, it wasn’t once, but four times. But if I told the cla.s.s leader the truth, she would think my dad and Auntie Ren are both perverts engrossed in their carnal desires.
But for Auntie Ren and my dad who were both single for many years, four times a night isn’t too over the top.
“I heard earlier that Uncle Ye wants to marry Auntie Ren, but she doesn’t agree.”
Other than the fact they were both divorced with children, my dad and Auntie Ren didn’t have any other similarities. One was an ex-MMA champion with an impressive reputation in both the martial arts and entertainment industry. The other, who stopped being a professor, only had an impressive reputation in p.o.r.nographic forums.
But according to a researcher, a couple might not be happy if they are too similar. It’s like eating ribs with pork chops, it would be too oily. Maybe you should pair meat with vegetables or other dishes to make a perfect marriage of flavors.
Based on the cla.s.s leader’s expression, she also didn’t completely rule out the possibility of my dad getting together with Auntie Ren.
“Does Xiao Qin know Uncle Ye might marry Auntie Ren?”
The cla.s.s leader asked an important question.
“I don’t… think so.”
“If they got married, then wouldn’t Xiao Qin be your sister?”
“Yes, in theory…”
I’m not sure if I was mistaken, but it seemed like the cla.s.s leader’s brows relaxed a bit like she was a bit happier.
“Last time when we met at the supermarket, you told me you only treat Xiao Qin like a sister. Did you already know Uncle Ye and Auntie Ren might get married.”
I remember I did say that. At the time, I intended to chase Xiao Qin away, so regardless of how Auntie Ren and my dad progressed, I would have definitely treated Xiao Qin as my sister at the time.
The cla.s.s leader sank into a strange silence after receiving my confirmation. When she opened her mouth again, all her justice aura was gone and she seemed a bit shy.
“Actually, I still suspected you a bit when you told me you treated Xiao Qin as your sister, but it looks like I was wrong.”
“You grew up with Xiao Qin, so it can’t be helped if she sticks to you. But regardless if Uncle Ye and Auntie Ren gets married, you would still treat her like a sister, right?”
Well… it’s hard to say. Although I definitely didn’t lie when we met in the supermarket, a lot of things have happened in between. I’ve already kissed my ‘soon-to-be sister’, and I’ve even felt her b.r.e.a.s.t.s and almost removed all her clothes.
To be honest, I don’t even know how I should treat Xiao Qin.
But if I denied the cla.s.s leader’s question, then I would be a liar. But if Auntie Ren really gets married with my dad, how would Auntie Ren look at the relationship between me and Xiao Qin?
In order to not spend to long to think and making the cla.s.s leader suspicious, I braced myself and said:
“That’s right, I will treat Xiao Qin like a sister.”
The cla.s.s leader didn’t respond and headed down the stairs before me. I couldn’t see her expression, but based on her fluttering black hair, she seemed to be in high spirits.
