I have returned to Greece from the east, with new knowledge, an abundance of knowledge. I am stronger, faster, keener and more agile than I was nearly two centuries ago when I pa.s.sed through this part of the world.
Just shy a month ago, I was atop a beautiful cliff close to a temple of Ares, when the G.o.d of War himself appeared. To my surprise he said he had been watching me. Watching as I have absorbed all of my knowledge and achieving my goal of becoming a master of war.
He offered me the rite as the champion of all of the G.o.ds of Olympus. In return, I have now received gifts from the G.o.ds themselves. Ares has given me a set of beautiful spelled daggers that return to me as I call them. His sister, Athena, has given me more knowledge, knowledge of battle strategies to win a war. Hephaestus granted me a large samurai sword called the Sword of Destruction. Zeus granted me wings and the others all gave me gifts as well.
Now, I have met a man named Casimir. He is a soldier of G.o.d, a Krznik, a vampire who feeds on the blood of vampires. He believes in peaceful resolutions which are how we met. About two weeks ago, I was walking through the forest when I came across a small pack of vampire. Their eyes found me and they attacked. There were five of them and I had killed three when the last two tried to team up on me. I managed to knock them back and I had one pinned by its throat against a large oak tree when he arrived.
Casimir stopped the other from attacking as I finished the vampire that I had pinned. When I turned, Casimir was talking to him. Talking to this vampire! I started walking toward them ready to kill the vampire and Casimir turned and looked at me.
"Stop!" he said as he faced me and the vampire struck Casimir from behind, sinking its teeth into his neck. Casimir yelled out in pain, throwing the vampire off of him. "I told you, it didn't have to be this way!" Casimir shouted at the vampire. As he did he began to shift. His eyes turned red and his light blond hair shifted to stark white. Casimir ran at the vampire and his hand caught it by the throat and it was pinned against a tree.
"You should have taken me up on my offer. Now, you shall die!" Casimir growled in a deep menacing voice and he used his now razor sharp claws to scratch this vampire's throat. It gasped and grabbed its throat as it fell to the ground. The blood in the clearing began to flow to Casimir. I stood in shock not understanding what I was seeing. It was terrifying and beautiful all at once. The sheer power of this man was astounding.
As the vampire continued to bleed, its blood flowed like a river vein to Casimir. Casimir grew stronger with his head back and his eyes closed. He began to float in midair as I watched. I lost my footing on a fallen branch and crashed down on my backside, my eyes never leaving Casimir. He was a force of his own and I think in that moment, I fell in love.

Suddenly, Casimir's eyes opened and he snarled at his prey, fangs sharp and eyes glowing red. He picked up the vampire and hissed in its face, "Die!" in a split second, it was over. The vampire's head rolled away as Casimir dropped its body to the ground.
A moment later, he turned to me with light blond hair and blue eyes almost the color of a clear sky. "I apologize, M'lady. I shouldn't have done that."
"Shouldn't have done what?" I asked.
"It was uncalled for, killing him like that in front of you." He answered chivalrously.
"No need to apologize," I started as I scrambled to my feet. I didn't know what he was but I knew that I wanted him on my side. As I got to my feet, I had to know, "What are you?"
"I, M'lady, am a Krznik, A warrior of G.o.d, A keeper of peace, here to bring peace to chaos. My name is Casimir."
"My name is Drusilla. I am a Kethra, an immortal warrior, an a.s.sa.s.sin, a Champion of the G.o.ds, and a vampire hunter."
"Well, it is as if we are of the same ends of the same war," Casimir spoke quietly and calmly.
"What were you saying to that vampire? Why were you trying to stop me?" I blurted.
"I believe in peaceful resolutions, I believe that there can be a peace with these vampires."
"Really?!" I exclaimed. "I don't see any peace with those monsters. That's what they are, Monsters!"
We began to argue about this topic but finally agreed to disagree. All I wanted was a powerful ally. I can convince him later that there is no peaceful resolution with vampire. Actually, vampire will probably do it for me.
All that I know is that I am in l.u.s.t for this man. His sheer power is astounding, even if he doesn't like using it. We have been talking since that night and I have discovered that many of his philosophies are as mine. Not only is he powerful, but he is brilliant as well, I can learn so much from him and I shall.
