Modesty's aunt sighed.
"Well, I don't know much past what Keith told me. He said that he went over there to pick up your parents and you to bring you back here. He said there were some problems with the company, but by the time he got there you parents had pa.s.sed away and you were in the hospital with a head injury. He told me to fly over right away that he couldn't handle it alone and that we needed to come and get you. So, I rushed over on the first flight but when I got to the hospital. So old man and woman were arguing about you but I couldn't hear what they said. All I could hear was "we are her family and no court would stop us no matter what country."
So, then I call out for your uncle and he comes up and hugs me crying. He kept repeating "What have I done. What have I done." So, I reminded him that it wasn't his fault that the company was in trouble. And, that you and your parents could have had an accident at any time. He cried for three days, then when you woke up in the hospital with no memory he cried again. We immediately brought you back here to the states and this is where you've been ever since. Are you okay sweetie? Did you remember anything while you were there?"
Su Jin Wei shook his head.
"No auntie, I was just hoping that maybe you saying something could help jog my memory."
Aunt Camilla clucked her tongue.
"Honey don't push it if it comes it comes. If it doesn't know I don't care you're my baby and I love you regardless."
Modesty smiled.
"I love you too auntie. And when I see Uncle Keith I will let him know to call you. He was probably just worried about me and something came up. I have been busy lately and the time difference is killer."
Modesty and her aunt talked a few minutes more then hung up.
