Meeting Again 46 Gripping Slowly

"I thought you will be taking the boy with you, sir" Roger said from beside the driver's seat, caressing his beard.

I smiled at him and sighed, "How many years has it been since you started working for me Rogers?"

"Six years, sir"

"And yet you don't know how to play the game? I can't say it's inexperience, should I call it lack of common sense or ignorance?"

"Apologises, sir. Please enlighten me"

I like men with healthy dose of curiousity. Rogers had it. He is eager to learn and improve himself. That's why, he is a perfect a.s.sistant

"How do you think my son would react, had I taken the boy away?"

Rogers looked perturbed. He turned to look at me in the backseat with those gloomy eyes of his. I gave him a mocking smile,

"My son had inherited that hot temper from me with a ma.s.sive dose of recklessness. The moment he would learn that Twen is with me, he wouldn't think twice before reporting me to the cop. Right now, he is rebelling against me. If I make one false move, then I would be checkmated in my own game"

Rogers looked a little taken aback. I laughed. It is not often I see him being bamboozled. It was a refreshing change. Meeting with the boy was good change of scenario as well. He resembled Robbie a lot to the point that it is surprising no one has yet noticed the similarities. Unsurprisingly, the boy is quite adorable. I opened the window of the car and allowed the air to brush past my face as I recalled the conversation with Twen.

*Flashback*

"Who said I am your mom's dad? I am your dad's dad!"

Twen's mouth opened in a 'O' as he stared at me with wide eyes full of questions. He asked softly, "But...but isn't my dad...my dad left me and mommy!"

His naivety was quite touching. I forwarded my hand to pat his head but he moved back. Hah! The Omega had taught him well. He is sure to avoid stranger and not allow them to approach him.

"Your dad wants to meet you but your mommy won't allow"

"It is because daddy left us. Mommy loves me and don't want to make me sad"

I smiled. The boy has been brainwashed quite well, "Your daddy loves you too so do I and your mommy doesn't want us to meet you because he is afraid that you would leave with your daddy and me"

"That-that's not true. I won't believe you" Twen said but his eyes looked disturbed.

"Ask you mommy if you don't believe me. He loves you so I believe, he will tell you the truth"

"Twen" came a voice of a middle aged overweight man. He was jogging towards Twen, waving at him.

"Uncle Sam" Twen said and ran to him who immediately picked him up on his arm

"Who were you talking to?" the new arrival asked

"That- that old uncle was telling me-" Twen hesistated

It was my queue to leave. I came mainly to meet the boy and confirm with my own eyes that he is my grandson. But ended up getting more than I expected. If I were to take him, I first have to make sure that his strong bonding with the Omega is broken. Kids are easy to manipulate just sow a seed of doubt and it would grow into discord on it's own esp if the answers are not met or are uncertain.

I ambled back to my car without looking back. Being recognised right now by an employee of my hotel would give room for gossips. And in matters of gossips, it is more damaging to reputation than even loss. I heard the boy speak as I shut the door to my car,

"...was telling that he is my grandpa. My daddy's father. Is it true, Uncle sam?"

*End of flashback*

Life really is amazing giving such twist and turn. Living for so long gives people an insight to the unfolding events of the future. I can already foresee exactly how the events of today will unfold. The boy might end up questioning his 'Mommy' about his daddy, and in the process will reveal about our meeting. That Omega will start having doubts if the meeting was pre planned by my son in order to s.n.a.t.c.h his precious son and would become extra careful of him or may even question him. Seems like a confrontation with my son is inevitable. But I have to put my plans into action before that.

"Sir, so are you not going to accept the kid and his mom?"

"Hmmm" I murmured and then burst out laughing. To think that a day would come when I would actually be pondering over an Omega. But that filth holds the key to my son's heart, so I have to get that key, right?

"That boy has the blood of Walker family running through him. Even after being born from a filth and raised in such a shabby environment, his aristocratic blood can not be dimmed"

Rogers blinked looking at me, a little lost. I smirked, "In other words, I would, of course, make Twen part of my family. If diamonds are not mined out of the coal mine, their shine would fade away. So, before that it needs to be mined out. But everything has a procedure"

"So, what are your plans sir?"

"Get me a lawyer for child custody! The best one you can get. Don't worry about the fee. And ask them if the father of a child can take custody of the child in an unmarried relationship? And if there is a way to settle it out of court"

I said, leaning back on my backseat, taking out my cellphone and looking at the picture of Tony and Twen. I won't be doing anything illegally. I would just make sure that he can't use law against me.
