Meeting Again 24 Love Rival??

It had been five days since Robbie visited my place. I had been so worried of him frequenting my place that I would almost check outside my door every night. It's not that I am missing him or anything, its just, if someone saw him, I wouldn't be able to explain. CEO of our hotel visiting an employee's quarter every other day is definitely not a common scenario. They will be suspicious and it could easily start gossip. Gossips can lead to severe misunderstanding! Thankfully, nothing as such happened.

It was just few weeks before the winters came knocking on the door. In the city of Warham, the season of most tourist inflow or otherwise called the peak season was during winters. Being a city well known for its beaches, its weather was hot and humid. Summers had the least amount of tourist inflow, with temperatures almost touching 35 degree Celsius. While on winters the temperature falls to 18-20 degrees and the weather gets very pleasant. Thus, attracting several tourists. The highest crowd is during the Christmas and New year, which the entire city celebrated. Naturally to attract customers, even the hotels and resorts put up huge decorations and events for the customers.

Since, Resort Elegance was newly opened and it's manpower was very low. Thus, the heavy duty of handling the guests by incurring the least amount of mistake was near about impossible. Basking on the popularity of the Exquisite Brand, the tourists flow is already more than any average newly launched brands. There were several events and offers given out to guest for increasing the flow. Since, winter was round the corner and obviously the manpower was short, the CEO decided upon several internal transfers to boost up the manpower.

I was so busy all this days that I was not even able to take a single break. The decision for the internal transfers came as huge relief as there was hardly any chef to handle two resturants, one coffee shop, the main kitchen and the In-room dining. I and Shah were the only two sous chef here and Boris was the only Executive Sous Chef in the Resort. The workload on us had been very high and we were almost dead handling everything without any mistake. This week, thankfully, the transferred chefs came in and two other Sous Chefs joined us along with another Executive Sous Chef. Though, the workload was still mammoth, it got better than before. I was glad that some measures were taken, otherwise, I was not sure, I could take any off this week either. I didn't want to break the promise I made to Twen about attending his sports day. I went to Boris after my work was over for Thursday to ask him about the off. He didn't objected, In fact, he said, he himself wanted to ask me to take rest. He said the work would only increase with the December right around corner, so, it's better to rest as much as possible.

I was glad that I don't have to upset Twen. I quickly wrapped up my shift and went to the parking lot to get on my car. I should rest well today, so that I could enjoy the day off with Twen tomorrow. As I walked down the stairs to reach the parking lot, I saw a car which looked like a sedan entering the parking area. This was not the Resort's car. Was it a guest's car? The car was too luxurious to belong to a staff. Maybe some business partner or special guest! I shrugged off the thought. It was none of my business for the time being and so I made my way to the my toyota. I got in the car, and banged it closed which collided with the sound of car doors opening. The driver of the black sedan walked out and opened the door of the back seat. A smooth pale leg with stilletos came to my view followed by a gorgeous woman in maroon line dress.

I could only see her side face but it was enough to tell that she was very pretty, and with that shiny curly dark locks, she looked like some Vogue Cover Page Model. True, I am attracted to men, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate beauty and esp someone who stands out so much. I realized a little later that my mouth was open. I closed it feeling a little shameful. The girl didn't made her way to the guest elevator and instead leaned on her car and started going through her cell phone. I wondered if she was waiting for someone. From her demeanour and her smell, I could tell that she was an Alpha. Though, she won't be affected by my smell but she most definitely could tell that am an Omega. Before I get exposed, I started my car and took a turn towards the exit but I was blocked by an Audi. This was most definitely not a Resort car and I immediately reversed to let the car enter. The car did entered and parked. I breathed in relief. In a service industry like Hotels and Resorts, making a guest or customer have a negative impression is same as losing a business. So, Customer always comes first.

I started my car again. I heard the sound of car doors opening and then a female voice followed by a familiar voice. It was Robbie. Instinctively, I looked through my rear view mirror to see what was going on. I saw the girl walked up to Robbie with a sarcastic smile. Robbie, on the other hand, looked at her with an irritated glare. He didn't even spare her a ear and started towards the guest elevator. The girl caught hold of him, by putting her arm round his hand. Robbie pulled his hand off and I heard him rage,

"Sarah, I think I made myself very clear. Stop being so pushy"

"Pushy? Is it a crime now to want to spent some quality time with my fiance?" she said looking both angry and upset.

The word 'fiance' cut through my heart like a knife. So, he was lying afterall. All that nonesense about loving me and stuff was nothing more than smoking mirrors. In some corner of my heart, I considered giving him the benefit of doubt!! Inspite of myself, I started having a tinge of believe in his words. I actually felt maybe, just maybe, he was really sorry. He really wanted to truly built our relationship again. d.a.m.nit! I look like such a fool now. He didn't want anything of that sort. On one hand, he was apologising to me for hurting me in past and on the other hand, he was planning to hurt me again with his surprise marriage invitation. I don't know why he came back to my life. s.h.i.t!!

I stepped on the acceleration with all my might and with a huge grrrrr my car pushed forward. Through my rear view mirror, I saw Robbie looking at my car and then, turning pale. I saw him quicken towards my way but I drove in full speed to get the h.e.l.l out of there. I am so dumb. Just few sweet words from him and I started to forgive him for all this years of pain. Just how many times do I need to feel this pain before I face the true reality. We Omegas are unneeded in this great Alpha's life. That was the reality! I should face it. By now, I should have imprint it in my soul. But NO! I have to end up hoping. The feeling of having your hopes crushed was like you waking up from a beautiful dream to realize it was all just in your head. I saw the road ahead of me, as my sight started blurring from the moisture gathering in my eyes.
