After receiving the “farewell gift” in the form of giving a free training for him as a Spirit Magician, we spread out a map of the city to search for an inn nearby the guild.

「It's about time we look for an inn around here.」

「Ah, about that. Khatisan said earlier that the guild is surrounded by many good inns.」

Looking outside the window, I saw that the sun ia beginning to set and so it's best we find an inn to sleep for the night. Choosing a better inn comes later⸺

「Well, I happened to have a considerable amount of money with me, and since I plan on staying in this city for about a week, I certainly want a more convenient place to sleep.」

I took a peek at the contents of the bag I brought specifically for this journey. This is a magic bag that can contain more objects than how it looks. Inside were some daily necessities, paper money, coin purse and some magic stones that I obtained after subjugating the Lesser Trolls.

While eating at the dining area of the Global Guild, I took the chance to speak with the owner to check the monetary value of money and learned that there were not much changes from the pa.s.sing years. It was also in the same occasion that I learned that there were even some inns that we can go and stay for as long as 3 months.

「I also brought a lot of money so it wouldn't be a trouble even if I pay for the two of us, sensei.」

「Err, as the receptionist says, we can earn some money if we provide information to the Company or the Global Guild of the places we go as adventurers.」

As Khatia says, we can just earn some money if we ever run out. In addition to that, we can accept quests from both the Company and the Global Guild. There's the plan on making some money but for now, I would like to focus on choosing a convenient inn in the city.

The best move would be to choose an inn that's just around the guild and located at the center of the city. With those in mind, we set out sights on a number of inns around the guild in the map and then, we encricled each one with pens.

We heard a voice coming from accross where we are seated, a woman was there wearing a beautiful coat. It was that woman we met earlier when we were about to enter the city.

In short, the story about us have spread outside the guild's dining area. Humans sure are quick to circulate stories.

「For me who personally witness Eisen-sama's magic when you helped me, your magic is certainly wonderful! This is what I told them.」

「But I simply helped you find your key.」

「Please don't say that, what you have done wasn't a simple magic anyone can do.」

Yurika told me quickly. Well, if that's how she sees it when I helped her, then it's fine if she thinks about it in that way.

「Um, and I also heard about how the two of you became adventurers, was that true?」

Although this city is quite big, I'm sure not all inns will be filled up immediately but I think it's better we find an inn quickly. I figured it's wise we find ourselves an inn before dropping by her atelier. [3]

「Eh, don't tell me you two haven't decided for an inn to stay? If that's the case, the atelier has an inn where you can stay overnight.」

Yurika suddenly told us.

「What? Is the Alchemist's Ateliar an inn?」

「Yes… Let's see, in Eisen-sama's map the Alchemist's Ateliar is here.」

She pointed at one of the circle we penned in the map. It's indeed at a good location that's nearby the guild.

「Oh, so that's where it's located. Well then, if we decided to stay there, will there be any available rooms?」

「Of course, there are! I have secured some rooms for this very moment. It's on the house so you are free to stay overnight.」

Yurika was smiling ruefully while saying that.

「Eh? We'll pay for each of our lodging expense.」

「No, it's really fine! Leave everything to me!」

There was a strong determination reflecting on her eyes that it would feel wrong to refuse her offer more, so I should gladly accept her grat.i.tude, right? Although from the start, we just want an inn we can simply stay for the night but if this is the case, everything is working out as we desire.

「Is this fine with you, Rinne?」

「Of course! As long as I'm with sensei, any inns with available room is fine with me!」[4]

After listening to their conversation, I looked back to Rinne and to her while tilting my neck in wonder.

「Yurikshacho?」

「Ah, right. I'm sorry for introducing myself so late. My name is Yurika Griffon and I'm the President of the Alchemist Company's『Alchemists Atelier.』It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance.」
