Passing Through Your World Chapter 9: Love Of The Fresh Crayfish

We used to say that we wouldn't treasure these we got easily.

Actually, it was not the case. You were afraid you would lose these you got easily.

If you earned something, you obtained its ability, which was more precious. If you got something from others, you would feel afraid you would lose it and want to grasp it tightly.

Did you ever think why its taste wasn't that good after a dead crayfish was cooked in the pot?

That was because when an alive crayfish was fried, it hurt, so it shrank, crying, "d.a.m.n it. I'm hurt." Then, it twisted, stretched, and died. In that case, its meat turned compact.

On the other hand, the dead crayfish was unconscious and unresponsive, so its meat was floppy.

The dying crayfish didn't make a great taste, either. It would only say, "Oops, it hurts." Then, it died.

I went to the Songhua River to eat fish the other year. The taste was so amazing.

It was true of here. Those stupid fish used to live in the cold river without anything to warm them up, so they trembled with cold. In that case, they madly swam to warm themselves up and roared, "What the f.u.c.k! I'm frozen to death."

They grow up with their bodies shrunk, so they were fat and compact and thereby very delicious.

Australia lobsters' meat was much more compact than crayfish's because they lived in the ocean where the pressure was rather big. They would say while swimming, "Hey yo hey." Therefore, their bodies were tight like the dock-trackers'. As time went, their meat turned thick and compact.

If you wanted to eat the delicious crayfish, you couldn't go to the restaurants. You had to go to the logistics market where all goods from all provinces just loaded.

When you opened the box, you saw that the energetic crayfishes were dancing the samba with their wide-open eyes squinting you. Seeing such a scene, how could you stay calm instead of washing the pot to fry them!

I talked to an old friend about the above.

He sighed with a winegla.s.s in his hand, "Isn't it the same as the relationship? It's the hard times that make us feel sweet. After the sorrows, the joys will be rather splendid."

I said with a blank face, "What the f.u.c.k! I don't know."

He said, "After my daughter is born, I suddenly find I want to give her everything I have. As an accident, she's born out of my expectations. But I abruptly find a new meaning for my life after she's born. Put it in this way, the most urgent thing of me is to think what else I can give her every day to make her happy and satisfied. I really want to give her my life."

He added after drinking the wine, "Without no exaggeration, I sincerely want to give my life to her."

After being in a daze for a while, I asked, "How about your wife?"

He fell into silence and then said, "My life is my daughter's. that's all."

I said, "Let me explain in the way of a foodie. For example, girls now want to marry men who own a house, a car, and a stable job. Such men are perfect but like a pot of dead crayfishes who haven't suffer a hard time and are directly put into your bowl. Although they look great on the surface, their meat is floppy and smell bad. You cry while eating them and suffer from diarrhea the next day."

He said, "Yes, it's true of my wife. For example, when you two buy a house together on a mortgage, you feel delighted when opening the door and decorate this house with grat.i.tude and sincerity."

Actually, I understood what he said. When his wife met him, she wanted to grasp him who was roughly rich. In the end, she was married to him by all means.

The three of them went to Thailand for tourism with an investor's family three years ago.

He bought his wife a lot of luxury goods at tax-free shops. His wife was so happy that she agreed to watch the freak show together.

After the show was over, the freaks lined up to see them off. He was so excited that he greeted one of the most beautiful freaks with a kiss and shouted, "I love you."

His wife had a fall out immediately.

She asked, "What do you mean?"

He said, "What else do I mean?"

She said, "You make me feel uncomfortable."

He said, "Okay. Let's go."

She said, "Does this freak look more beautiful than me?"

He felt that his wife embarra.s.sed him in front of the investor's family and subconsciously ridiculed to adjust the atmosphere, so he joked. "Of course, he is. If not, how can he perform on the stage?"

His wife said, "Didn't you say I'm the most beautiful woman in your life?"

They all felt speechless. He said, "Let's go."

Back in the hotel, he drank with the investor inside the room. They opened a computer,  googled the most beautiful freak online, and praised how beautiful the freak was while pointing at the screen.　

His wife by coincidence stepped inside and turned livid upon hearing this. She smashed the computer and turned around to walk away.

Having apologized to the investor, he called his wife who turned her cellphone off and then went outside to look for her.

Both of them forgot their four-year-old daughter.

This little girl came out from the open door and entered the busy street before being hit by a tricycle.

She was not life-threatening, but her left ear turned deaf with the concussion.

He sat at the bar three years later and listened to me talking the nonsense of a foodie.

He said if possible, he wanted to give his daughter his life.

When he said those, his daughter was in a sound sleep but would wake up with only her right ear that was able to hear the melody of this world.

When he said those, he cried with a divorce paper in his bag.

We all knew that a rainbow only appeared after a rainstorm.

However, we all wish we'd better sit in a rainbow where others had arranged a colorful world for us.

Unfortunately, the scene arranged by others would be withdrawn at any times.

Therefore, the crayfish fried alive was delicious, for the taste out of the pain was the most terrific.
