“Coming down!” Lin Jiang changed his shoes and ran out quickly.

Gu Ming Ren kept away his phone in his pocket and while recalling Lin Jiang’s excited voice, dry leaves were crushed under his footsteps.

This year’s winter was particularly cold. Lin Jiang was only wearing one pair of pants and ended up shivering below his dormitory. As he rubbed his hands together for warmth, he looked out for Gu Ming Ren. When he saw him, he strode over and said, “It’s so d.a.m.n cold this year.”

As soon as Gu Ming Ren touched his thigh, he knew that this son of a b.i.t.c.h wanted elegance but not warmth and his face changed immediately. “If it’s so cold, why are you still wearing so little?”

“You better come out right now. I’m driving over. If I don’t see you, I’ll beat you to death!” Lin Che’s voice was very aggressive and as he spoke, he fished out the car key and headed outside.

Hao Meng quickly pacified him over the phone, “Okay, I know. Don’t be angry. I’ll wait for you at the school gate.”

He went in to let Lin Jiang know. His face was filled with grat.i.tude causing Lin Jiang to be confused. “Huh?”

After he realised that Lin Che was taking the initiative to look for Hao Meng, Lin Jiang was triumphant and said, “Ha, I was right. Lin Che is someone you cannot indulge!”

Although the result was unintentional, it didn’t prevent Lin Jiang from feeling good about himself. It seemed like he had suddenly found himself to be full of talent but yet suffered from being unable to display it, and he regretfully bit into a roasted wing.

After Hao Meng went out on his date, Lin Jiang was left by himself in the room and felt a little lonely.

It was a beautiful night in the room filled with sights.
