What made him kinda distressed was the fact that Bulma now was with him. He thought at first she would also go away but it seemed she was pretty interested in the favor he asked after he mentioned it.

And the fact that Ms.Briefs told Bulma to accompany him while he stayed here didn't make it better.

Bulma stood there and watched him "So what is it you want from my father?", she asked him.

"Nothing much. Just a tool to search for something.", he replied to her.

She wrinkled her brows a little bit annoyed that he gave her an indecisive answer. "And that something is? Does it really need my father to make it?"

"Yes, pretty much..." He looked at her and saw that she was still not satisfied. "You saw that ball just now, right? Those are called Dragonb.a.l.l.s. There are 7 of them in existence and there is a legend about them that after one collects all 7 of these magical orange spheres, you can summon a dragon that would fulfill any wish you had."

Bulma was now surprised and her eyes sparkled "Really!? Any wish?", she asked to reconfirm his words.

He sighed in his mind. It looked like she is still pretty much a kid at her age. Good for him. He could fool her to some extent. "Yep, any wish. And I want to find them. I already have the ball with 6 stars in it. Every other ball has a different amount of stars ranging from 1 to 7. Like that you can differentiate them from each other. And to find them I need a radar otherwise it would be hard. That's where your father comes into play."

After his explanation, Bulma seemed to be more friendly. "Dad can absolutely make that radar. He is the smartest person after all", she said and thought about something. "But I could probably also make that radar to find them." was her remark afterward.

Darc stayed silent. She really was thinking about making that radar now, wasn't she?

"What do you mean you could also make it?", Darc asked her.

"I am also pretty good with technology myself!", said Bulma proudly while stretching her chest out and placing her hands on her waist.

Darc accidentally looked at her chest while she did her pose and immediately Bulma shrieked, put her arms in front of her chest and turned to the side. All the while only her face was facing him with some angry eyes and a slight blush on her cheeks. "Pervert!", she barked.

He didn't know what to think about this at all. She was the one who was so proud and made that pose and now he was the guilty party? He erased the thought instantly that she still was a kid with a pure mind. Knowledge truly corrupts innocence.

"I didn't do it on purpose! Besides, there is nothing to look at anyways." , he exclaimed after being accused of false charges.

"What did you say! I have enough there. Its just your eyes that are bad!", Bulma shouted again feeling wronged.

"Hey, calm down, alright? I just said there is nothing there yet. Maybe later it will be better. Don't worry about it", he tried to defuse her but probably only made it worse.

She looked at him blankly and then snorted. "Don't think that you will get to see them later on. After all, you are thinking I am flatchested!"

´How did she get to the conclusion that I would want to see them later?´, he thought ´Besides when canon really starts, I will still get to see them if I really wanted to...I should stop thinking about stuff like that´

"Alright, alright. Back to the topic. You said you were good with tech stuff?", Darc asked and change the topic.

Bulma didn't stay on the old topic and smiled again. "Yeah, I am pretty good with tech. Come. I will show you some things.", she said and led the way to her room.

Inside her room one saw a working bench and some mechanical parts lying around here and there. Truly heaven for techies. Bulma really was a little nerd considering that.

That probably was one reason why she was pretty direct and tomboyish and even didn't have a boyfriend up until she was 16.

She didn't lack beauty but just had a headstrong personality that not everyone would be fond of. That and there was the fact that she basically spent a lot of time with tech. Not doing much else.

"Here", she exclaimed after rummaging inside a box and taking out something.

It was a spherical object Darc was not sure what its application was. So he took it and wondered what it did and inspected it.

"What is this?", he gave up shortly after not figuring out what it could do.

Bulma grinned and pushed something and the sphere made a weird noise and suddenly it floated up. After a while, other things started to levitate as well in a radius of 3 meters. Even Darc and Bulma herself floated.

´Did she create a zero-gravity device? Well, no wonder the s.p.a.ceship Goku used had a gravity function with it for him to train until he reached planet namek´ He thought with a smile. Gotta admit this girl is smart.

"Pretty neat!", he said after floating around making swimming motions and after some time he pressed the b.u.t.ton again and slowly came back to the ground.

"Told ya so!", said Bulma proudly again.

"Alright, I am actually getting kinda hungry. Do you know some good place to eat at?", Darc asked her after his stomach grumbled. He didn't want to waste his provisions in his capsules and get something to eat in the city.

Bulma was kinda confused by his words. "Didn't my mother tell you if you need something you could get it? You don't need to go to the city to get food. Come, I will show you the kitchen. The droids can even make some of the best food if you want them to make it.", she gave him as a response.

´Droids, huh? I guess that's to be expected. She was spoiled in the canon. No wonder with so much luxury and all the time in the world.´, Darc thought while putting one hand against his chin.

"What? You don't cook yourself?", he asked.

Bulma´s mouth twitched. He hit a nerve "It's not like I cant! I just don't prefer to waste so much time..." She stopped after these words. It seemed she thought about it. Maybe she considered cooking once and just isn't good at it?

"I see. Alright, let's go. If you are inviting me I won't say no to that." Darc said.

While walking Bulma looked at him and seemed to kinda a.n.a.lyze him this time around. It seems he got on her friendly side or she wouldn't act like this.

"So, what is your wish gonna be?", asked Bulma.

"Huh?" Darc responded.

"The Dragonb.a.l.l.s. What is your wish going to be after you collected them? You didn't talk about that yet." Bulma repeated her question again but this time mentioned more details about the question.

"Oh, that. My wish would be to become stronger.", he thought at first and replied to her.

"Stronger?", she dittoed and eyed him up again. "But you already look pretty buff?"

Darc waved his hand and chuckled "Not like that. Well, you won't understand even after I tell you what I mean."

Bulma pouted a little "I wouldn't understand? Hmpf, suit yourself then. Boys with their musclebrains."

´Says the one that wishes for a boyfriend later´, thought Darc inside his mind.

"And what else?", asked Bulma again.

"There is nothing else. The dragon only grants one wish and if the legend tells the truth. The b.a.l.l.s will scatter again on the earth after that one wish was made. And they will turn to stone. Unable to be tracked nor used for a whole year.", he explained it to her.

"Hmm, I see. Like that people wouldn't be able to misuse them too much", said Bulma acknowledging his words.

Darc scratched his head. He knew pretty well how the z fighters overused the b.a.l.l.s and Bulma herself even made them her bingo 1st place reward at least once...

"Here we are. Take whatever you like", she said and sat down onto a chair.

He looked around and opened the fridge. Inside there was only high-quality stuff and that scared him a little. How expensive was all this here?

He looked back at Bulma and she sighed. "Just take whatever you like.", she said after seeing how he reacted.

"Alright, I won't hold back then.", he said with a grin. After all, he liked the food and he wondered how high-quality stuff tasted.

He grabbed some puddings and other things and put them on the table. After closing the fridge and sitting down, he started eating.

Bulma was still sitting on the chair and looked how he gulped down the food. She was a little bit flabbergasted by his speed and amount of eating.

Sure he doesn't eat as much as Goku but he still ate quite a ma.s.sive amount.
