Regalus instead looked out the window. A sun was sitting in the air while a second sun was setting down. Sunset in the middle of the day proved to be a very exotic sight.

His schedule for the month became odd due to the training. As of right now, it consisted of eating the 3 daily meals and walking up and down a mountain. Each day the weights would double as he tried to reach the same height at the same time. Though Regalus was fine the first couple times with the help of certain techniques, he knew very well it was just the start of a true training regimen. The more his body progresses, the harder it would surely become, and with the use of that medicinal bath every day, it would be soon.
Until the second sun reached the treetops, which is an hour or two, he could have some free time until dinner. He looked around his room. Aside from a bed, a large work table, and some other miscellaneous things, the rest of the wall was covered with nothing but bookshelves. He took a specific book from one of the bookshelves and opened it wide.
----
It was a ma.s.sive atlas along with papers showing complicated formulas, drawings, and notes. The atlas itself showed a map of the Kingdom of Arendale, and all the areas surrounding it. On the northernmost border of the Kingdom lay its Capitol, where he is at right now. It guards the entrance to an unmarked territory commonly referred to as the "G.o.dlands."
It was unknown where it got this name but it is a testament to the danger as well as the riches contained in this land. It is a land supposedly containing billions and even trillions of unknown beasts and other powerful existences as well as countless treasures. Myth has it that a way to true immortality is buried deep beneath this insidious forest.
The Ironshard mountains, its peaks standing tall, acted as a wall against the G.o.dlands. It ran from the west of the Kingdom of Arendale up to the north and beyond. Southwest of the Kingdom of Arendale lay the Kingdom of Corrella and to its east is the Sha'zi Sect. To its south lay the imperial border of the Clear Sky Alliance, the ent.i.ty above the three Kingdoms previously mentioned. It loosely ruled these three Kingdoms plus another three, promoting the rivalry between these six kingdoms and making sure that they don't band together and throw the royal family off.
The only Kingdom that didn't partic.i.p.ate in the rivalry is the Kingdom of Arendale, as it always had its hands full with the G.o.dlands hanging above it like a guillotine as well as the Alliance's full support in being the buffer between them and it.
Sadly, the atlas only provided the locations of the nearby regions. However, from the text and measurements recorded in the books, Regalus approximated that the entire ent.i.ty of Clear Sky Alliance, including its va.s.sals, to be equal to that of the entire landma.s.s of his own planet! Not mentioning the tens to hundreds of other recorded ent.i.ties equal to or greater than the Clear Sky Alliance.
This is supposedly impossible, a planet like this to exist and still able to hold life. However, the two suns in the sky became the key to the puzzle. Sadly, Regalus didn't have enough information for exact numbers, but solving it this far was a fun hobby he had in his toddler years.

A glint of red light flashed over his room and slightly blinded Regalus for a bit. He stopped ruminating his past works and headed out. Sure enough, the red-headed maid joined him, albeit a bit farther than usual.
He entered the castle's dining room. The beautiful chandeliers and numerous candles lit up the room. A long round table was served with luxurious meals and even more luxurious plates. Regalus saw his father and mother talking and laughing together before they warmingly greeted him.
Regalus sat down expectantly, he can't help admit that dinner time is always a time he looked forward to. He looked at a steaming bowl of crystal white grains before him. It was called 'rice' in this world and it was absolutely glorious. It was like a catalyst, spreading taste evenly and even mixes it, allowing different foodstuffs to combine flavors. In the middle of the table was a large boar-like creature. If he didn't remember incorrectly, it was hunted beyond the walls and used to be a spirit beast.
Beside it was a salad of wild greens, which were probably not normal as well, and various other side dishes.
Regalus took a bite of the boar, with some greens and rice using a spoon and fork. Lent and Aria always looked at these two, odd utensils. After all, all they had ever seen and used chopsticks, but Regalus seemed to never get the hang of using them and instead invented these. To them, it looked like a small spatula and a small trident. They merely shrugged their shoulders and continued eating. All three of them soon talked with each other about the day they had and other miscellaneous things. Lent would often boast about his past, flying unhindered throughout the world. Aria would talk about food, clothes, or talk about Regalus's training. And Regalus would often talk about ideas, inventions or solutions to some problems, most of which often timely coincided with their problems.
A stranger looking at them would subconsciously sigh at the sight of this harmonious family.
Nearing the end of their meal, Lent suddenly threw two books at Regalus. Aria looked as if she had been already expecting this.
"These books are manuals," Lent explained, "Your mother and I think that you're ready to get started on this. The red one is a cultivation manual while the green one is a martial art manual. These are the secret cultivation techniques of our family, don't lose them!"
Regalus looked over at the books. They were written with flowing characters and detailed ill.u.s.trations of several poses. The ink was rather fresh so he knew that all of it had been copied down recently.
"I'm sorry, I don't have enough the time to spend with you, I've just been so busy lately," Lent continued. Even with his son was going away for heavens knows how long, he still couldn't make time for him, it deeply affected him.
"It's a fine father," Regalus said understandingly.
Lent only smiled wryly in response and patted Regalus on the head.
"You need to wait to start on the red one, however, you can start the green one. Look through it, memorize it, and then burn it," Lent explained.
Regalus nodded in response.
Lent soon left for more work and Aria followed after him as well, ruffling his head even more.
"Sleep early, we'll start truly training tomorrow."
