CronoOver 38 Arrival

-It's been two hours since the ship left the Britanian harbor and made its way towards its final destination Prestige Island. The time until they arrive will be four hours, but for the students that were on the ship before Rin and Haruto boarded, it was already sailing for more than two days.

-After boarding it, the two of them were a.s.signed a cabin to share, in which they coud rest until they arrived. The ship was a five-star yacht for the rich people so the cabins were pretty s.p.a.cious as well. Big beds, a ma.s.sive flat screen tv, their own bathrooms, and even a mini-fridge filled with all sorts of foods a normal man coud only dream about.

-The two of them put their bags on the floor next to the bed and each one went to do their own thing. Haruto was pretty tired so he took a shower and lied on the bed wanting to take a short nap until the reached Magicians high.

-Rin, on the other hand, was awake as much as one coud be so he decided to read a little to pa.s.s the time. The book he read was one of his favorites, The thousand and one facts about cheese you don't know. It was a present he received from Serah and an absolute treasure to him.

"Rin..."

- Haruto called out Rin's name, he was unable to fall asleep and wanted to talk a little with his roommate to pa.s.s the time.

"Yes?"

-Rin answered his call while still reading the book thoroughly.

"So, why did you wanted to become a Magician?"

-Rin stopped reading and put down the book, he wasn't sure if he should tell Haruto the trough or not. Turning his head toward Haruto whose back was facing his face Rin decided there is nothing to be afraid of and told him.

"I want to find a way to bring a friend back from the dead."

"I still can't except it, But thank you."

"I know how it feels to lose someone important, sorry for asking you It must be a touchy subject."

"It's ok, but why did you decide to enroll?"

"For revenge!"

-With no hesitation, Haruto answered fast and clearly. He turned around and lied on his back, putting his hands behind his head while having an angry expression on his face.

"Revenge..."

"I hate G.o.d and everyone that has anything to do with him. I joined becouse the Magicians can give me what I need... khehehehehe I can become stronger there."

"You'll have to become rely powerfull to accomplish that goal."

"I know, but with hard work, it won't be impossible!"

-Taken aback by Haruto's desire and goal Rin was surprised at the beginning but after seeing how serious he was about it, he had no write to laugh or tell him that his desire is stupid, as he was the same. Somehow he felt a connection between them and so they continued to talk more and more as the ship made its way towards Prestige Island.

-With the ship getting closer and closer to the Island the student's excitement became bigger and bigger. After a while, when Prestige Island was in sight, all of the students made their way up on deck in the excitement of seeing it for the first time.

-All except Rin and Haruto who was soundly asleep in their room from all the talking they did. The Island was quite large, having its own forest as well as a lake and a training ground. It couldn't be found on any maps becouse it was a man-made island build by a person ability at the order of Furui Chie.

-The first thing the students saw was how the edges of the island were like cliffs from every side. There was no need for security or the military on the island either becouse of Furui Chie overlooking it and every teacher being strong enough to handle any threats that might happen.

-Surrounded by waves and filled with buildings as well a beautiful green scenery it looked like paradise on the water. And the sun that shined high in the sky didn't help lessen its beauty either.

-Arriving at the port the captain of the ship put the stairs down and announced loudly through the speaker that they have arrived.

"We have arrived at our final destination, Prestige island! Please exit the ship in a calm manner."

-Doing as the captain said, the students all left the ship in one line with no pushing or miss chip. Everyone except two people that is.

"MOVE!"

"OUT OF THE WAY GEEZER!"

-Rin and Haruto who almost overslept the arrival rushed out from their room onto the deck and barely managed to jump overboard onto the island before the ship left.

"Nailed it!" -They both said while pounding their fists together.

-Landin behind the rest of the students the two got up properly and went to join the crowd of students who had their eyes on them while laughing inside of their heads.

"We totally nailed it!"-Whispered Haruto in Rin's direction while b.u.mping their fists one more time.

"Ok, are we all finally here now?"-He asked a man standing in front of the students while holding a chart in his hands.

"Shut it, you women obsessed pervert!"

"Oh, she doesn't mind me being a bit too friendly, right my beautiful lady." -Said Matthew in a deep and manlike voice.

"Actually, I do, so get off!"

-Nicole pushed Matthew away and dusted her suit from his germs.

"Alright, now that all of you are here let's begin."

-Nicole went into the center of the students and started to call out names for what cla.s.s each of the students will be in.

-Going in an alphabetical order Haruto Avanzare is Cla.s.s C and Rin Felicia in cla.s.s A.

-But from the crowd of students that were there a particular name piqued Rin's interest when he heard it. From all the 63 names Nicole said: "Finn Vion" was the only one that stuck in his head.

-It was a name he recognized, the name of a person he coud never forget. His precious childhood friend that he couldn't find no matter how hard he looked after returning from the OverWorld.

"Finn..."-He said his name while tears started flowing down his eyes.

"You ok?" -asked Haruto.

- While the students moved into groups they were a.s.signed into, a particular hair and body shape struck his eye more than any other.

"FINN!"-He yead at the top of his lungs while shoving the people around him aside and running towards his friend.

"Finn..."-Grabbing his shoulder and turning him around the smile on Rins face disappeared as the person he grabbed responded with " Who are you" and "why are you grabbing my shoulder?"

-Rin was mistaken, the person he thought of as his childhood friend was just some stranger that had a similar hair cut and body shape.

"M-my mistake."

-Depressed and his hopes shattered he felt horrible. It wouldn't be strange for someone to have a similar name to his, there are people from all over the world here so another Finn Vion wasn't so strange. That's what he thought before hearing a person in familiar voice othering his name.

"Rin?"

-He turned around at the speed of light to see his Childhood friend Finn stand there in front of him.
