After a few minutes of silence, Giselle regained her posture, still breathing roughly. While she stood there to calm herself down, her frame got surrounded by a group of girls.
...
"What are doing against the wall?" the green-eyed brunette, Carmel uttered first.
Sara the other girl came to rescue Giselle from her hand full of shopping bags and helped the weak girl regain her stance. Meanwhile, the other girls teemed around Giselle making a fuzz.
One of them who acted as the leader for the gang goes by the name Bridgette wore a displeased look on her face. Her flaming eyes always despised Giselle and never cared for the girl. On the other hand, Carmel enquired Giselle after seeing her clinging onto the wall like a lizard for a while.
"What happened?"
"Why are you glued to the wall?" Carmel charged with questions one after the other.
"Maybe she tried running away with our shopping bags and got caught guilty." Bridgette mocked in a rude tone.
Carmel stopped Bridgette from making another comment. Bridgette fizzed moving away from the scene to get some air.
"Did you eat something? We sent you alone because you looked like you're about to die from hunger." Sara inquired politely.
Giselle nodded even though she didn't get to finish her drink or eat her m.u.f.fin. Nevertheless, all of her hunger fangs got burnt from the incident with Lillian Grey. She is no more hungry or in need of food. Giselle only wished to return home and not spend another minute with these girls.
Just as Giselle prayed, another shadow figure came in from the rear. The shadow figure represents a female frame who wore a troubled expression on her face.
"Girls, that's enough for today. Let's all leave. My parents want me back right now. I'll drive you guys back home. Let's go…"
The shadow figure came on to the light: the red-haired female with a dusky skin tone looked deceptive, her voice loud enough to make anyone listen to her. As soon as they heard the girl spoke, everyone started gathering their stuff, getting ready to leave.
"Ivy, I have your bag. Remember to get it from me. Alright?" Carmel told.
The loud red-haired girl, named Ivy nodded in agreement. She left the place to get her car from the parking lot. The girls all gathered outside the mall. Ivy was fast; She came out within a few minutes with her black Chevrolet Camaro. The girls got in and left the mall together.
INSIDE THE CAR:
"Giselle, you live nearby to Bridgette. So, I'll drop you guys at Bridgette's place. Go home on your own." Ivy declared without even asking the poor girl if it's okay with her.
Honestly, Giselle lives pretty far away from Bridgette's. Everyone knew it and still a.s.sumed that it's alright to drop her at Bridgette's place. Ivy may be loud and obnoxious but, she's undoubtedly insincere.
Giselle silently agreed while Bridgette got displeased with Ivy's decision. Nonetheless, she didn't bother to stir up the red-haired girl who's driving them all back home. Bridgette plugged in the headset to her MP3 player and started listening to Music. Sara and Carmel talked while Ivy drove the car and Giselle stayed quiet staring outside the window.
….
Back inside the Mall:
Lillian stomped through the hallway randomly. Her anger took a toll as she roamed through the mall without any idea. Lillian didn't call Anna either. She preferred to be alone and decided to go with her own decision.
Anna, who initially went on her own, waited patiently for her friend to return. But, time went on as Lillian never showed up. Anna had two thoughts in her mind:
1 – Lillian Grey, her friend, had left her alone in the Mall and returned home.
2 – She's lost her way inside the Mall.
Option number 1 seemed the possible solution for Anna who knew her friend for a long time. It ticked off Anna as she felt the need to exit the shop immediately. Her eyes caught Lillian's frame moving away from her direction. Anna shouted.
"LILLIAN"
...
Later a while, Lillian responded to the recognized voice. She acted, turning around to see Anna. That's when it hit Lillian the purpose of her presence at that place. She came out with Anna to spend their weekend. If not for this invisible thought, Lillian would have fled the place already just as Giselle had expected.
Now, it's all spoiled. Lillian's mood entirely ruined. She walked back to Anna.
"What took you so long?" Anna asked in concern.
Lillian looked at her friend, a sense of real worry reflected from her eyes. Anna cared about Lillian, and she knew it. Lillian exhaled.
She tried hard to put on a smile, and it worked.
"Nothing just lost my way in between," Lillian replied.
"I knew it. You always need someone to guide you else you easily get lost. Well, are you alright now?" Anna asked.
"Yes, I'm alright now." Lillian chuckled softly.
Anna dragged Lillian back to the shop she just left a few seconds ago.
Somehow the words Anna spit out hit Lillian. She realized the unnecessary involvement with someone she barely knew or these unwanted emotions emitting from her. It all felt not needed as she realized it gradually. Lillian apologized to Anna for the inconvenience. Anna playfully punched Lillian, forgiving her.
"Here, if you want me to forgive you truly, try this out for me!" Anna handed out a dress she had exclusively picked out for Lillian.
Lillian tried denying before eventually giving up. Lillian deserved it. She obeyed and went on to model the dress her friend had picked out.
