Get Back To You 3 Dinner Invite

"Ms. Giselle. Ms. Giselle. Are you there?" a voice spoke in a hurry.

It was from the KeyLine Publication and the person speaking was the a.s.sistant of Mr. Shane Ricardo, the CEO of the publishing company.

"Ah, yes. I'm here. What happened?" Giselle replied.

"Mr. Ricardo would like to have dinner with you tomorrow night." The a.s.sistant said.

Giselle was even more surprised. But she couldn't understand why the dinner request was made. "May I ask for the purpose of this dinner?" Giselle enquired. "This will be regarding your job and the author you will have to work with. That is all I was informed, Ms. Giselle. I would like to request your presence to be on time with Mr. Ricardo. I shall send you the email regarding the place and time for the meeting. That is all for now and please have a great evening" the a.s.sistant replied.

"Sure. Thank you. I will make sure to be on time. Goodbye" Giselle replied.

Coming out of her room, she noticed Lia had just woken up from her nap. Lia saw her mother delusional. "What happened, mother?" Lia asked. "I have a dinner meeting with my boss tomorrow night," Giselle said. "A…and you're worried about me? Don't let my hunger fangs go crazy again mother. I feel like I'm turning into a monster every single time this happens." Lia grunted.

"Don't worry I'll cook you dinner before leaving." Before Giselle could finish, Lia approached from the couch saying, "I'll be fine with Pizza again. You see mother, it's a meeting with your boss. So you need to look fresh and cool. So leave the dinner to me. I will manage it. However, I need to you lend me some cash." Lia was desperate. Giselle knocked her head lightly. Lia could only think that her mom saw through her plans clearly.

"Alright, let me unpack all other boxes tonight" Giselle went into her working mode. "You're not going to pull an all-nighter aren't you" Lia got shocked. "Oh, yeah, But you have to help me too." Giselle smiled.

They both helped each other, unpacking and arranging their new apartment. The living room was a huge pile of mess with multiple boxes and things. They both focused on their rooms first and used the living room as the storage place. The heavy hard-work until midnight wore out Lia.

So, she went to bed a little late after midnight while, Giselle was able to stay awake until 3 in the morning and arranged her new apartment completely. The living room was cleared and the trash was kept out separately. The process of moving in was successful. She then went back to sleep after throwing away the trash.
