**Lillian asks her serious of questions**
"Name all of the writers from KeyLine Publication." Lillian started out with the obvious one. This is a must for anyone who works for KeyLine. Whether you have the most reputed job or an intern, this is a must known information if you want to stay at KeyLine.
Jenna named all of the 12 writers. Lillian's next question was another obvious 'naming the editors', which also Jenna replied including herself. So far, Lillian received a good feeling from her. But that's just basics that anyone can master it. Next few questions were regarding the company's origin; the date, year and the first CEO. Jenna was also tested about Shane Ricardo's profile details. Jenna wasn't aiming for reply instantly. But, she took her own time to reply to the answers, which showed her patience and steadiness. Moving on, there were questions about company rules, events, and official board members. It was only for Jenna to be aware of the higher members. Next was about the department and their head. The PR department was given the main priority. Finally, after all of the general questions got over, Lillian came to the main point.
"You did answer all of the questions. But make sure to remember the board members names again. You might get to meet them eventually if you're with me. Now, onto the final question. Who am I?"
Jenna looked at Lillian with a bright smile; expecting for a correct answer. Jenna went on to answer:
"Lillian Grey" she replied. Lillian's expression changed to disappointment. However, it didn't last long when Jenna continued her reply.
"Real name - Lillian Grey. Penname - Gill. Also known as the Gill master. Genre - fantasy & historical fiction. The first book - Journey to the Ashes about a Ninja's who were on a mission to escort the king and faced by the immortal enemy Kaiten. The beauty of this book was that its the main character was a female ninja; Miku. I like Miku but I'm gonna read this book later. The book attracted a lot of young women and was, in fact, popular by the teenage people. Famous work - Cursed Seal - a historical fiction about the royal family with powers and the curse which changed their destiny. This is my favorite storyline, I haven't read it yet. But I'm gonna start soon. This book was sold out a million copies all around the world. This book also made you the second best writer from KeyLine Publication. The total number of books released so far is 4." Jenna revealed the details. But, she didn't stop at that.....
"Gill's true ident.i.ty hasn't been revealed to the world. It's kept a secret strictly. Thus, making a huge debate on whether Gill is male or female among the fans." Jenna ended with a major hit.
Lillian smiled proudly, listening to her editor speaking. She nodded in response to show her that Jenna did a great job in learning all these within a day. Lillian clapped loudly to appreciate Jenna's efforts.
"That's it?" Jenna asked. She had a spoke continuously for a long time.
"Yes, and you pa.s.sed with flying colors. Relax, let me get you some tea." Lillian went to prepare tea, especially for Jenna.
"I forgot to mention your lowest selling book, Ms. Grey." Jenna reminded.
Lillian got stuck in the middle of the temaking process. She wasn't expecting that blow from Jenna. The kid can do comedy too. She sneered at herself.
She prepared the tea and served it hot. Lillian was satisfied with her new editor. Of course, Lillian's face looked pale. Jenna noticed that Lillian had something in her mind but wasn't able to communicate openly.
"Ms. Grey, I heard all about your gossips too. I didn't know that you were a player. You totally looked like a vanilla." Jenna teased.
"Vanilla? that's it. You're not scared or feel creepy working with me. I had an editor previously who happen to judge me for my s.e.xual preference and looked at me like I was a disgust. I don't care what people think of me or my preferences. I'm not here to satisfy anyone else other than my own heart. Don't you think so too?" Maybe Lillian spoke what she had in her mind for a while. Jenna felt pity for her. But feeling pity is not going to heal someone; taking the prior first step ahead and making them feel like you're with them, supporting. Jenna replied, "Ms. Grey. I don't care about those things. I told you already, I have a different purpose in choosing this job. I'm not going to sit here and judge people for who they are. It won't affect me even if you come onto me. So, please teach me how to do my job perfectly and help me in achieving a name for myself."
Jenna's declaration surprised Lillian. 'It doesn't affect her even if I come onto her!!!!!!!' Does this girl even know about me?
Lillian who was in a deep thought turned to face Jenna. The next few events happened quickly in a few seconds: Lillian stood up went closer to Jenna and bent down slowly reaching her face. Their lips were only inches away. Lillian looked at Sadie with a s.e.xual desire. Strong enough to make anyone 'bend their knee'. Then, slowly she moved towards her ears and gently said, "You still think I'm vanilla. I'm far away from being a vanilla, honey."
Those words felt arousing; giving Jenna chills all over her body. She sat there froze up like a mannequin. 'So this is what players do huh' Jenna imagined the consequences of her words. She thought that her author Ms. Grey is playful as well as dangerous.
Lillian walked away from her to release the tension.
"I'm just kidding. Don't get scared. You are not my type. Dang it, look it's past twelve. Wanna grab lunch together?" Lillian asked Jenna who returned back to the human state. She noticed the time too and agreed. Lillian grabbed her wallet and went out to buy some food.
"Are you going by yourself to buy us lunch, Ms. Grey?" Jenna rushed out to the front door.
"Yes, I need some change of environment. I'll be back soon. You stay here and take rest. You've worked hard Jenna." Lillian patted on her shoulder and went out to buy their lunch.
Jenna stood near the front door all alone; thinking how difficult is it going to be working as an editor for Ms. Grey.
