149. Family Discipline

Su Yi Cheng brought An Ran in a different car to avoid those reporters' eyes and ears to leave their compound.

When An Ran and Su Yi Cheng drove to the military compound, the sky was almost dark. It had been nearly two months since they came to the compound, the attendant changed, no longer Xiao Zhang, but a boy bigger than Xiao Zhang, who seemed to be about the same age as Xiao Zhang. He was not like the former Xiao Zhang who would smile brightly and call them brother, sister-in-law, but was very standard and saluted respectfully, with a little shy smile.

“Grandpa, dad, mom, we're back.” Su Yi Cheng took An Ran's hand and greeted everyone.

An Ran also echoed back, “Grandpa, father, mother.”

Grandpa Su and father Su did not open their mouths, eyes straight on at Su Yi Cheng, while Qin Yi at the side, looked at them with a wink in her eyes, as if she were suggesting something. That hand, incessantly waved them over.

An Ran did not understand, looked at him then looked up at Su Wen Qing and Su Han Nian, asked in confusion, “Grandpa, dad, this is?”

Su Wen Qing glanced at An Ran, then said, “An Ran, you should stand aside."

“Dad—” An Ran wanted to say something, but was interrupted by Su Yi Cheng. “An Ran, listen to them.”

An Ran was helpless, could only nod, and stood to the side.

Qin Yi came out of the room with a whip and looked at Su Yi Cheng with a difficult expression.

An Ran looked at the whip in Qin Yi's hand, and for a moment could not come up with a reaction.

Qin Yi held tightly onto the whip and refused to hand it over, but also wants to redeem something, looked at Su Wen Qing and said, “Old Su, see how big An Ran's belly has gotten.”

“It doesn't matter whether that video was fake or not, and no matter if photo is fake or for any other reason, he married you, he must take on the family responsibility, now that you have children, are more responsible for their own behaviour, for the future, in front of the children, to set an example and be responsible!” Su Wen Qing seriously said, his voice was not loud, but the tone was certainly strong, he looked at An Ran and continued, “I hit him, because he was wrong to let someone else create such a misunderstanding, should not give others an opportunity to frame him, and furthermore for not ending things from the past and dragging mud into the water, thus hurting their own family!” He naturally is well aware of his own son, in regards to the photo and video he does not have to look at it and conclude that Su Yi Cheng will not do such a thing, but he should not give others such a chance, should also not be involved with Ling Ran. He was no longer just one person, he has a wife, and in a few months there will be children, so to be entangled with Ling Ran, even if they were innocent, but look at the spot they would put An Ran in!

An Ran looked at him, somewhat speechless. She had thought father Su had misunderstood the video and photos, but did not expect that he hit because Su Yi Cheng let this happen but did not deal with it.

“Su Yi Cheng, I said this, do you accept or not!” Su Wen Qing looked at Su Yi Cheng and asked.

Seeing her concern, Su Yi Cheng struggled to give her a terse smile, and said, “I'm okay, really.”

An Ran could see the cold sweat on his forehead, she knew that his back was giving him a lot of hardship, only said, “Let's go back into the house, wait for mother to bring the medicine oil, I'll apply it for you.”

Su Yi Cheng nodded, and walked with her into his former home.
