Like most of the other rooms on the second floor, the bedroom War shared with Saku was as plain as vanilla ice cream. It was small with two single beds, white stone walls with two Ambry Port mirrors above the bed heads and a mirror gla.s.s door towards the left that was partially opened to show an adjoining closet room that held a washlet basin and small square bath amongst white tile walls trimmed in gold and black marble floors.

"Oh, sorry for rudely interrupting your couple time." I motioned to go back out.
Both of them gestured for me to come back inside, keen to set their innocence straight by showing their struggles in getting one of Saku's thigh holster's off his right thigh as the buckle was magically rusted shut.
"Saku, you look like h.e.l.l?" I noticed his unkempt looking hair, messy uniform and smudges on his cheeks.
Saku politely pushed away War's aid and sat up. He explained that with Andy managing the map duties in place of Trix, the labyrinth wasn't running quite well. His shift with Lita had them dodging minotaur and ratshiki demons that had attempted to take advantage of a tunnel change, which led them to the pivot landing of the Second Tier's Medical Units.
"Obviously, we solved the problem and the wayward demons were redirected to securer cell structures." Saku sighed and dropped his hands.
War asked me what I wanted in my mind.
"Oh, yeah, is Death with you?"
He nodded and pointed to look behind me. Death sighed as he moved around me to enter the room.
Saku had Death dump his woes with expressed sympathy and understanding, whilst trying to explain Trix's stupid tacky behaviour.
"The man means well, but his words do not come out right some times." Saku soothingly addressed Death's concerns.
"I honestly don't hate the man. He never fails to infuriate me." Death sighed.
War and I shared the same opinion of Death and Trix in our mind, but left it at that. It was obvious that Death held a strong regard for Trix, otherwise the man wouldn't work him up so much.
"Are we running late for school?" Death asked me to change the subject.
"Dunno. I need to give you this." I signed and held my hand over his that rested on his knee. I turned his hand over, so he could catch the nikiaku.
The ball miraculously appeared to drop into his hand.
The four of us gazed with wonder as the dirty gla.s.s marble changed to a brilliant blue and rose before Death's eyes with sparks of lightening coming out of it.
Death recalled backwards onto the bed when lightening struck his eyes. He sat up, vigorously shaking his head.
The ball stopped sparking and dropped back into the palm of his hand. The blue color seemed to drain out of it like water and be absorbed by his skin until the ball was a smooth and clear zirconia marble again.
"Wow!" Saku exhaled with awe
"Did yah get yah memories back?" War looked to Death who was coming out of a daze.
Death's eyes widen with happiness. He nodded and asked War how he knew?
"Well, yar holding a nikiaku, so there's only one purpose I know of for those things. I saw this happen to Shuso one time." War scratched his head with his knowledge.
"Memories?" Saku asked with a perplexed frown, which relaxed when he had arrived to an answer. "Oh, the Transpiration Lock."
I nodded. "It had been accidentally transferred into my mind. The Colonel was able to extract them and place them in the nikiaku."
The three men regarded me in silence though for a moment before letting out shivers and quickly changing the subject.
"Oi! You guys going to school or what?" Ryoko poked her head through the door. "Ryuu's at the entrance looking cranky and threatening to give you guys detention if you turn up late to shame him."
The three of us thanked Saku and raced out of his room for the main foyer.
