Uncle Alto rubs his hand and keeps breath out to warm his hand, I guess we should be going with uncle Alto's suggestion since the town is so quiet already.

"Ahhh... that's unfortunate then, alright you two can go home first, and you can put the horse in the stable near your place, I already told the owner"

"We are sorry for refusing your invitation Rosaku-san, maybe tomorrow, or some other time"

It looks like uncle Alto and Rosaku-san finally decided to just go home after, we separate in the way, Rosaku-san said he needs to go somewhere first so he needs to hurry before the day become darker, and that's how we spent this day, actually, I think I'm the star of the show today, Just Kidding...

Uncle Alto and I went to the stable and put the horse there to warm herself and rest, we let that elegant horse enter her stall and I see that beautiful creature looking at us, I said "Thank you for accompanying us" to the horse from my heart.

"Let's get something to eat first shall we?"

"Alright uncle"

After leaving the stable, we walk through this quiet alley, stepping on puddles in our way makes my shoes drenched with water, I wonder where this water comes from, it's been here since morning even though there was no rain since yesterday and this evening sure is cold eh, uncle Alto keeps rubbing his hands and looks tormented with the cold, fortunately, I got my stamina back and feel refreshed, I think it's time for me to get rid of the cold that bites uncle Alto all this time.

We are just having a light conversation all the way until we arrive at some kind of inn.

I wonder what will they serve here, uncle Alto just went straight and open the door of the store and uncle Alto told me to secure a seat for us and he went to have a talk with someone in the receptionist desk.

This place is pretty crowded, but the customers are actually some adventurers, I guess this place is the place they use to stay for the night

I heard before that adventurer always stays at the inn, but when they got famous and have plenty of money, they would buy a house instead of staying at the inn.

I quickly put down my bag there and sit, I look around and I see a girl with a black robe sitting next to me, did I met her before?

I do feel like I've met her before but I can't remember when but, my instinct just said so.

She turns her eyes towards me, that eyes might be normal for other people but I feel like she turns a sharp disgusted eye towards me, she has a beautiful long black hair and it looks sparkling combined with the small round face of her.

"Ah I'm sorry.. have we met before?"

I keep turning my view towards her for like past 5 minutes, I try not to do that, but I'm curious, I want to confirm it.

She suddenly gasped and looks shocked, her face turns red and she quickly gulps down her drink and gets out from her seat, I try to stop her but she refuses because she looks like she about to run.

"Hei there.. careful"

Uncle Alto came with two gla.s.ses of milk on both of his hands.

She hides her face with her robe and runs out the store, I didn't stop her for that because I think that will be rude if I did that.

"Is that someone you know Erwin?"

I shake my head as a no sign, uncle Alto just put down both gla.s.s of milk on the table and take a seat across me.

"But I feel like I met her before, maybe it's just me"

"Hmmm...Alright then, but I guess I feel like I've seen her before"

"Yeah but I can't remember when I meet her though, it's strange isn't it?"

"Anyway, what do you want to eat?"

"I guess a beef stew would be good, it's cold outside though"

Uncle Alto then leaves the seat to order the food to the waitress girl who's standing in front of the storefront.
