The Overlord - Naruto Fanfiction (COMPLETED) Chapter 6: The Academy, And A Certain Uchiha

Ryu smirked, everything was going according to plan. He had joined the Academy at the age of 6, and he was not planning to wait for 6 years before going to shin.o.bi service!

Ryu had already started to think of potential teams he could have, but most people his age weren't really as talented as Ryu, so it was very troublesome. we had Hanabi Hyuuga, the heiress to the Hyuuga Clan, but she was one year older than him.

While Ryu could skip grades, it would be too troublesome, so he wanted to choose 2 prodigies from his cla.s.s, which he could 'sneakily' increase their potential somehow, who were quite talented.

He was not expecting some super prodigies, just enough to not slow him down. An Uchiha and a Hyuuga would be good, both possessing Dojutsus he did not have because he was in a mortal form...

Although he technically still could have them, he was still thinking of a reason to come up with to get the Dojutsus.

He wanted to be a prodigy, but not to the point where he would have a.s.sa.s.sins after him right and left. Graduating two years before the actual graduation age was not that much of a ha.s.sle and a problem.

At the moment, Ryu knew 5 Wind Release Jutsus, all C and D Rank, 3 Fire Release Jutsus, All C Rank and 2 Water Release Jutsus, which would make him incredibly talented if revealed to the world.

He was planning in showing his Wood Release, Mokuton if given the chance soon. That would merely speed his plan, and raise his reputation to a level he wanted it to be. Mokuton was only possessed by two people, Hashirama Senju and Yamato, the latter being an Orochimaru experiment, with Hiruzen's permission and Yamato's permission.

Across the years, Naruto and Yuki had become quite powerful, and now were part of Team 7, with Sasuke Uchiha. The heir to the Uchiha clan was not arrogant, Itachi seemed to have taught him to respect others... mainly?

The so called Uchiha Ma.s.sacre, which was a plan of Danzo's never happened, due to the fact Minato forbid it, and after a clear overlook of it, Danzo had also shrugged it off, because such an operation would weaken Konohagakure to the point it could be defeated by k.u.mo or Kiri.

Ryu smiled as he entered Naruto's Mindscape, Yin Kurama waiting for him there,"Is it that time of the year already... I wanted to explore the world a bit more." the half Tailed Beast groaned in annoyance.

Yang Kurama grinned in happiness,"Muahahahha! Finally... This brat is too annoying, he has tried to channel my power way too much... And he keep failing... Yin, as usual here is 1% of my chakra, it should be enough to cover your existence here."

Yang Kurama added as he created a miniature Bijuudama, and Yin Kurama simply ate it,"Mhm, it's more than enough for this year."

The two large creatures looked at Ryu who grinned and preformed the Subst.i.tution Jutsu, switching the two Kuramas. His jutsu was different from the average one, it switched two creatures, both alive.

Ryu smiled as his brother neared him,"Ryu, have you been a good boy?" Naruto said as he hugged his brother and threw him in the air playfully. Ryu smiled," Nii-san don't tease me..."

Naruto laughed," I'm officially a shin.o.bi, Ryu! A shin.o.bi! I'll become a chunin in a flash, and when you graduate, I'll be a jounin!"

Ryu chuckled and nodded,"Yes,Nii-san you will!" While on his head he was chuckling,'That probably won't happen..'

He was going to become a Genin at age 10 according to his plans, skipping two years, his brother would be 15 by then almost 16, it was impossible for him to reach Jounin with his current training schedule.

Of course that could always change... Graduating at age 8 would never be out of his plans either...

Ryu smiled as his brother left the house, heading towards the Training Ground their compound had, with enthusiasm, just after returning from Genin duty. Ryu sighed," Now I have to focus on my plans..."

Kurai from inside him yawned," Have I slept enough? You still are a baby...? Gosh... Grow up faster you munchkin!" Ryu was p.i.s.sed at the way Kurai addressed him," Don't make me change your form to that of a baby!"

Ryu rolled his eyes, tomorrow was going to be the first day of his Academy years.

The day pa.s.sed quickly, and the next day came as quickly as it left. Ryu wore some casual clothes as Kushina kissed his head,"My little munchkin, if you need anything else just tell me right now..." She said with a teary face.

Ryu pouted," I know it Mom... You don't have to be so serious about this..."

Minato smiled, he was a shadow clone, because he was still busy with paper work even with three Shadow Clones helping his original... Geez.

"Do you best, Ryu. If anyone bullies you... Just like your mother would put it, You are free to send a Rasengan at them." Minato smiled, his calm face made him look really scary when saying that. Ryu sweated, but nodded sweetly.

"Now, we need to send you to the Academy, your siblings could not join us because they are out for a D Rank Mission." Kushina said with a sweet tone as she grabbed her son's hand, and Minato did the same to his other hand.

Konoha Academy

Ryu was everything the academy needed, love the village and help in preserving peace, a mind you can only dream of breaking and he was healthy in both mind and body. He looked at his cla.s.s's teacher, Iruka Umino, the teacher his brother and sister were taught by.

Ryu noticed the lack of another teacher, Mizuki. He remembered that he had been defeated and sent to jail by his brother, Naruto. It seems he had an odd relationship with Akatsuki, and was hoping to join them by giving them Kurama's Jinchuuriki.

Ryu smirked, that had failed badly, very badly. He looked around his cla.s.sroom, and found out there were 30 students, making a total of 10 teams available to this cla.s.s only.

This was going to be quite interesting.

Ryu looked at his 'new' friend, an Uchiha. He 'self proclaimed' that he was his friend, just to annoy this moron.

Ken Uchiha was a six years old boy, with raven black hair and black eyes. He was related to Madara Uchiha, as his father was Madara's Grandson, meaning Madara was his great grandfather.

He enjoyed a very high social level, he did get a few haters from the fact he was connected to Madara through blood, but it did not really bother Ken at all... Okay barely, not that much...

The boy was also a prodigy, surpa.s.sing even his ancestor, Madara Uchiha, Ryu smiled,'Seems I already found a target for my team' He grinned and looked at other potential members.

A Hyuuga was another one of his choices, with short dark brown hair and the usual white eyes that identified every Hyuuga. His name was Yato Hyuuga, cousin of Neij Hyuuga and Hinata Hyuuga.

There was a t.i.tle which suited him perfectly 'Training Madman' . Ryu had only known him for a week, however he could certainly identify him with the 'Youthful Disease' just to a lesser degree. Both of them, Yato and Ken were pretty talented, and prodigies.

Those two were already medium genin level, at age 6, so they could be 'useful' to a certain degree, mhm those two were at the top of Ryu's list of who to choose in his team, there were a few others who caught his attention but they were all barely genin level, if not close to it.

Iruka smiled as he looked at his students,"We are going to have a simple Taijutsu spar! Follow me outside." He said and opened the cla.s.sroom doors.

Outside the Shin.o.bi Academy.

Iruka looked at the 30 students and smiled," I'm going to select two of you to have a taijutsu spar. Let's see..." He was wondering who to choose, and who was better than an Uchiha and the Fourth's son!

"Ryu Uzumaki Namikaze and Ken Uchiha, step forward!" Iruka shouted with a cheerful tone, as the two stepped forward. Ken had a calm expression, while Ryu was grinning like an moron. " Ah kids... He reminds me of Naruto, and Ken of Sasuke... Don't tell me they are going to be the same... Kami please..."

"Please do the Seal of Reconciliation!" Iruka said as the two did it, "Start!" He shouted as he jumped behind a bit, leaving Ken and Ryu inside a 3 meters circle.

Ryu took a stance, and so did Ken, but his was filled with openings, despite him being a prodigy he lacked experience, which was why he would lose right now.

Ryu dashed at Ken, who was panicking inside, not really sure of what to do next, he did what he thought was the best at this situation and ran at Ryu, the two sent a punch at each other, but Ryu smirked as he lowered his head.

"Smart boy, he is using Ken's arm against him, he cannot see Ryu clearly under his arm." Iruka chuckled as he saw the scene in front of him, seems Ryu was not like his brother, who lost his first taijutsu battle to Sasuke.

Ken's gaze narrowed as he raised his leg with all his power, aiming to hit Ryu,Iruka smiled,"Neither of them are willing to back down it seems."

Ryu noticed the action Ken was trying to do and used his right leg to jump slightly, avoiding the leg, and sent a punch at Ken, hitting his jaw. That hurt for both of them,"Ouch." Iruka held his fist at the scene.

Ken gnashed his teeth as a few loose tears escaped the corner of his eyes, before firmly putting his feet into the ground, refusing to move. He tried to hit Ryu with his fist, but Ryu simply pushed it away with his arm before proceeding to send another punch at Ken, this time at his nose.

Iruka felt like it was about the time he interrupted the spar, as Ryu was just completely destroying Ken, who was already bleeding from the latest punch.

"Okay this is about enou-" Iruka was about to finish his sentence, when the Uchiha kicked Ryu away, almost touching beyond the circle. Ryu released a sigh of relief, before taking a firm stance, Ken was not willing to let this chance slip, as he started to throw a barrage of punches at Ryu.

"He isn't doing much damage to him... Seriously Hokage-sama... What did you feed him? Is this the result of a Senju and Uzumaki mixing together? Gosh... It's way too overpowered!" Iruka shivered, what if this had been a ninjutsu spar?! Ken would probably have been obliterated by Ryu.

"Okay this ends now!" Ken shouted out as he coated his fist in Chakra, making Iruka widen his eyes, 'Since when can children use chakra so enchant their attacking power?!' He was about to stop the spar again... When Ryu replied with coating all his body in Chakra.

Iruka was speechless.

"Am I supposed to teach two little monsters?! A chunin like me?!" He muttered to himself, sounding as if he lost half of his soul already.

Ryu then lowered his body,avoiding Ken's strikes at him, and threw a uppercut at the boy, sending him flying in the air, a very impressive achievement already in it's own for his age, and kicked him away, his body leaving the circle.

"Winner by Default, Ryu Uzumaki Namikaze!" Iruka said as he hurried to check Ken's current condition. Ryu smiled as he walked towards Ken who was groaning, and slowly getting up, extending two of his fingers forward.

Ken glared at Ryu for a second, before sighing and doing the same. Ryu grinned, ah he had a lot of stuff to tell his parents later...

Iruka sighed as he confirmed the condition of Ken was alright, he was worried that he broke something, that would put him in a bit of trouble. What he didn't know was that Ken actually indeed broke a few ribs, but Ryu secretly healed him when he sent him flying with an uppercut.

Ah the joys of being a G.o.d...
