(CHAPTERS 1-5 EDITED)
Saya slid into the driver's seat of her car and pulled down the sun visor. She checked her lips in the mirror. Saya rubbed them gently and almost couldn't stifle a curse Her lips were swollen and anyone with half a brain could tell she was recently thoroughly kissed. She applied some lip balm, smacking her lips lightly together. Today was way more perplexing than she hoped for.
Frankly speaking, she got more than she bargained for. It's only been her first day and she already felt exhausted. Saya drove out of the hospital and went to the first fast-food chain she could find. Feeling too lazy to get out she headed straight for the drive-through.
"Can I get two double cheeseburgers, a side of fries, and one large strawberry milkshake."
"Yes, ma'am."
Saya paid for her food, sipping on her milkshake on the drive home. It wasn't a long drive and before she knew it she was home. It was late in the day and the sun wasn't shining as brightly. The huge trees surrounding her home provided cool shade and a refreshing breeze. Saya listened to the swaying tree branches, soaking in the fresh air when in the corner of her eye she glimpsed a sight she never thought she'll ever see again. She dropped the keys and bag of food in her hands in shock.
'Dammit, how the h.e.l.l did he get in? The security system has been updated!' Saya was bewildered at the sight of Haru sitting against the lone maple tree in the middle of the yard. She couldn't help but step forward to check if he was real or just a delusion. Her steps were hurried, eager to find out if her mind was playing tricks on her. 'He really couldn't be here, could he? Let alone sleeping against my tree.'
She wasn't hallucinating, Haru was really there! Saya gasped her mind in a frenzy, wondering what the h.e.l.l he was doing here. 'Why is he here!?,' she thought wildly. She gazed at his angelic sleeping form. Haru's back leaned against the trunk of the tree his long legs parted slightly. His eyes were closed, the dark, long lashes curling beautifully against his porcelain skin. He looked perfect and magical. 'A Sleeping Beauty,' Saya thought.
Her feet moved on their own, walking towards his beautiful form until she was only a breath away. She kneeled down beside him. Her hand reached toward his bold eyebrow, stroking it gently. The scene was all too familiar, wasn't this like the first time they met? Saya gave a small smile her fingertips lightly grazing Haru's cheeks, her mind going back to the past. The first time they met. The fateful day that started it all.
~~~~~
The sun glowed and a young Saya pulled her straw hat down to cover her face. She was left at home with her great grandpa while her parents help the local police with a murder case. The home they were currently staying wasn't theirs and it wasn't permanent. It was one of the many temporary places they stayed at due to her parents work. Being well sought private detectives, her parents were constantly asked to be a consultant for cases that were difficult for local authorities. That meant moving around the country every couple of months.
Saya was only ten but her unusual upbringing had mature her faster than other children her age. She has never attended school and was being homeschooled by her family. It was sufficed to say her curriculum was not the standard or the ordinary. But she was a smart girl, far smarter than kids her age should be. Her parents at times worried at the kind of life they forced on their daughter due to their work. They once asked her if she wanted the family to settle down permanently so she can attend school and do normal things girls her age should be doing.
But Saya told them firmly that wasn't what she wanted. She a.s.sured them she wasn't missing anything by going to a regular school. She knew how important her parent's work was and had always admired them for that. They took some of the hardest and heinous cases regardless of the client's economic background. They were crusaders of justice and Saya felt proud to be their daughter.
While her parents tried to protect Saya from the darkness that came with their jobs, they couldn't fully shield her from it. Being surrounded by the atrocities of man, made Saya realize at a very young age how the world works. Human's were easily influenced by power and greed, and so easily controlled by their anger and jealousy. Still, even after realizing this, the young Saya was never despondent. She was full of energy, wonder, and hope. It was this personality of hers that drew people in.
"Saya are you done with your snack?" asked her great grandpa Lee, who she affectionately calls gramps.
Looking down at the half-eaten sandwich Saya replied, "Yeah...gramps I'm bored. Can I go explore the neighborhood?"
"Sure, but be sure to get home before dark and don't wander too far off," he warned.
Saya nodded excitedly and ran straight to the wooden gates surrounding the house. She saw a large field of sunflowers in a park close by that she wanted to explore. Her little legs skipped while she hummed happily. It was summer and the road was filled with children playing. Saya ignored them and made her way deeper into the fields. She wanted to explore. Saya reached an old tree and she stood under its great height. It was hot and her exploring had tired her. The shade from the tree provided Saya some comfort.
Leaning against it, she was surprised to see a beautiful figure sleeping on the other side of the huge tree. She knelt down to inspect the fairy creature she discovered. She was beautiful with soft curls and paper white skin. She was about the same size as Saya, maybe just a little shorter. Saya was captivated by the fairy's beautiful appearance and couldn't help but get closer to peek at her sleeping form. She was so focused on the ethereal creature before her, she leaned even closer, her face almost touching hers.
The creature stirred before Saya and opened her eyes. Surprise at the girl so close to her, the fairy let out a little yelp and in haste to get away, pushed hard. Saya tumbled and landed on her b.u.t.t.
"Ow. Geesh you didn't have to push me so hard. I was just staring. You look like a fairy, I couldn't help it. What's your name? My name is Saya. Why are you sleeping under the tree? That's not very safe for a young girl to do you know," Saya scolded.
"Fairy?! Girl?! I'm not a girl you idiot! I'm a boy!" he uttered angrily his eyes harsh.
Saya widened her eyes and replied in surprise, "A boy! Are you sure? But you're so pretty!"
She walked closer to him again, inspecting his beautiful face intently. She reached out her tiny hand and patted his cheek in wonder.
"Whaaa….of course I'm sure!" he said sternly, blushing lightly at her touch.
"Wow. I've never seen such a beautiful boy. What's your name?"
He stared at Saya incredulously. He was appalled at being mistaken for a girl. He never suffered such humiliation. But staring at her large doe eyes and small face, an unknown heat crept up his face. 'What is this feeling,' he wondered.
"Haru."
Surprised at his own actions, Haru gave himself a mental kick. 'Why did I give her my name.'
"Hmmm...Haru….I like that name," Saya said with a smile. Her eyes twinkling with unabashed laughter. The young boy couldn't help but be captivated by those eyes.
"Do you live here Haru?" she asked bringing her face and body closer to his.
"Ahh, no. I'm only here for the summer," he replied.
Saya stared at his beautiful face. It was really a shame that he wasn't a girl. He was too beautiful. She never really cared about children her own age, finding them too unrelatable. Maybe it was the way she was brought up or that her mind was mature in ways there's wasn't. But the overwhelming sleeping beauty before her had stirred her curiosity and she couldn't help but reach out to the child she mistaken for a girl.
However, Saya could tell from his piercing eyes that there was more to this beautiful boy than she thought. His eyes were simply too old for someone so young. They have seen much sadness and maybe even death. She couldn't wait to unravel the mystery behind his beautiful eyes. Saya grabbed his hands excitedly and said, "Let's be friends." The boy didn't reply and gazed at the warm hands that grasped his own.
~~~~~
"Are you done staring?"
Saya gasped and drew her hand away but Haru drew it back with his hand pulling her closer to him. He captured her hand, unwilling to let go.
"I..I...I wasn't staring. I was just lost in my thoughts," she said honestly.
"What are you doing here? How did you even get in? This is breaking and entering. I have half a mind to call the cops on you!"
Saya struggled to get her hand free from Haru's vise-like grip, her knees digging into the dirt deeper as she tried to pull away.
"Who is he?," Haru said coldly.
"Who is who?! What are you talking about Haru? What guy? More importantly, let go of my hand and leave!" said Saya with gritted teeth as she feebly attempted to free her hand.
Haru's eyes narrowed with a flash of anger.
"Tsk."
Haru sneered and wrapped an arm around her waist with the same vice-like grip he had on her hand. Saya was forced to kneel between his open legs her struggles to break free getting weaker. A light ocean breeze envelope her senses, muddying her frazzled mind. 'He's wearing the custom made cologne I got for him. But he wasn't wearing it this morning. Did he put it on before coming here?' she wondered as she took a deep breath. The cologne mixed perfectly with Haru's natural odor, the result seductively a.s.saulting Saya's senses.
"Haru, let me go please," she begged her lips quivering with rising desire.
The pa.s.sionate kiss they shared in the morning replayed in her mind and her body shuddered with desires that she thought she would never feel again. Saya didn't know what overcame her at that moment, maybe it was the climatic events that happen throughout the day that made her logic and determination fly out the window. Or maybe it was just the intense chemistry between the two of them but at the end of the day, she can only blame herself.
Haru exhaled deeply his breath brushed against Saya's face shattering her control. With brute force, she took his lips into hers. Her tongued lavishly tasting him and Haru responded to Saya's desires with greed, his lips happily welcoming her intrusion. Haru wrapped both arms around her waist forcing Saya to straddle him. With her recently freed hand, Saya pushed him back further into the tree. Haru moaned in approval his hands roaming her backside freely.
Saya felt a bulge of hardness between her legs. She pressed her hips down sliding back and forth, t.i.tillating the both of them. Their breaths were ragged and heavy but they didn't stop kissing each other. Saya's hands ran through Haru's soft wavy locks, tilting her head for better access to his mouth, as her hips rhythmically grind against the burning bulge in Haru's pants.
Haru's hand caressed her backside, giving Saya's plump a.s.s a hard squeeze. He groaned in pleasure loving the way her a.s.s felt in his hand. He used his other hand to tease her breast, pinching her nipple through her clothing. Their moans got louder as they savagely sought pleasure from each other.
"HAAAAAARUUU! SAAAAAAAYAAAAA!!! ARE YOU IN THERE?! h.e.l.lO IS ANYBODY HOOOOOME?!"
The annoying voice was like a splash of cold water. Coming to her senses, Saya pulled away from Haru with a wince. Saya berated herself for her weakness. Her body felt tight and unsatisfied, she wanted more. Saya couldn't look Haru in the eye. Afraid of what she'll see. Afraid of what will happen next. This time she was the one to take the initiative. She couldn't explain why. She steeled her mind and heart but didn't expect her body to betray her.
Saya whispered quietly to herself more than to Haru.
"s.h.i.t, that shouldn't happen. What the h.e.l.l was I thinking? You need to go."
She watched him leisurely pull himself up, his breathing still heavy with desire.
"Stay away," said Saya weakly.
"Why? Afraid you won't be able to help yourself and attack me again?." He smirked and took a step forward and she took a step back.
"I didn't attack you! You kissed me back and more!"
"Oh weren't you doing more too? Or did you forget who was grinding against who?."
Saya blushed and she couldn't help but look down at his crotch. He was still hard. The bulge painfully obvious against his jeans. It made her mind wander into an unwanted territory and she licked her lips unconsciously.
"You...you...you started it! Who told you to kiss me this morning," said Saya, turning her head away, too embarra.s.sed to face him.
"Hmm...your right. It was so easy to kiss you. You really are too defenseless. Have you forgotten all that I told you, Saya? Men are wolves. Always be on guard with other men. The next time you let another man kiss you I won't be so forgiving," Haru scolded.
'What the h.e.l.l, how did he know about Riku kissing me? Did he have me followed?.'
"I didn't have you follow. I smelled cologne on you. Who got close enough to leave their scent on you," said Haru reading her thoughts.
'Dammit, I forgot how sharp this guy is. I could barely smell the cologne on me yet he immediately took notice of it," Saya thought.
"HEEEEYYYYY, HARU! YOU TOLD ME TO COME WITH FOOD. ARE YOU THERE? DID SAYA KILL YOU? OPEN THE GATES!", Kaito yelled interrupting the two again.
