She Will Be Mine 10 Chapter 10

Feeling Haru's arms loosen Saya took the opportunity to step out of his embrace her face conflicted with complicated emotions. Should she believe his words?

'NO!'

Saya's heart was pounding heavily against her chest, so much so that she thought she could almost hear it. Haru watched her struggle with herself. He took a step back giving her s.p.a.ce even though all he really wanted to do was to hold her in his arms forever. But that wouldn't be wise, not with the way Saya was right now. He was determined to get through the bottom of things. He will figure out what happen and when he does there would be h.e.l.l to pay.

But right now watching the woman he loved more than anything displaying hurt and doubt over his proclamations was more important. He needed to get her to believe in him and for that to happen he can't be rash. He was sure now more than ever that someone must have manipulated Saya to leave and that someone must have been smart. Smart enough to fool Saya.

Saya wasn't foolish enough to fall for simple underhanded tricks, so what was it that made her break her trust in him? Who could have done that? Haru wasn't going to get any answers from Saya anytime soon. And he was fine with that. He'll get her to trust him slowly but surely.

"Saya don't overthink things. Just let me be with you. I don't care about anything else. You don't believe I love you right? Let me prove it. You think you're some kind of replacement? Let me prove you wrong. I'm not asking for the reason you left. To be perfectly honest, I do still want to know why or who could have made you leave me. But I won't push you to tell me. When your ready to talk about it I'll be there don't worry. I waited for two years for you and I can wait longer if you need me too. As long as you give me the chance to prove myself, you owe that much."

Saya flinched at his words. He was right she did owe him that much. She left without having Haru explain his sides of things. She was unfair but she had good reason to feel the way she did two years ago. The sudden lose that night was too much to bear and in her distress she made the decision to leave Haru without fully a.s.sessing the situation. Thinking back on it she acted impulsively. But even with all that it wouldn't have changed the things she found out about Haru. The things he should have told her but never did.

'Would hearing those words from him, change the outcome of my actions? Would I have still left if I heard his explanations? If I wasn't a coward and talk to Haru would be still be together?,' Saya thought earnestly.

'But I was a coward, wasn't I.'

Her mind still muddled from all that Haru said, Saya could only remain speechless staring at Haru's solemn face. She couldn't agree to what he wanted. Could she? She thought she didn't want anything to do with him anymore and she was sure he was going to feel the same way. But now….now what? He wanted to reconcile and she wanted….what? What did she want? To believe him? To start over? NO! Yes...maybe.

"Why don't you go and see your G.o.dparents now. Aren't you supposed to meet them after your cla.s.ses," Haru said gently.

"How did you know about that," Saya said in surprise.

"Eh. I'll let the old man know you won't be attending anymore cla.s.ses today. Not that you need too, right," Haru replied evading her questions.

Saya left Haru in the washroom her mind replaying all that happened. She still couldn't believe all the events that happen since she woke up this morning. This was not how she expected her first day to be like. Of all the worse things that could happen, actually happened. First Sakura, then Ai, and worse of all Haru. What a way to start and end her first day of school! Her feelings were a mess and she was more confused now than she was two years ago. She really wished she could read Haru's mind to figure out the truth.

She made her way to her car and drove to the hospital to see her G.o.dmother, aunty Alexis. It was a short drive and she was there in minutes. Parking in the visitor lot, she made her way to the elevator and press the top floor.

"Hey there…..Janet," Saya said reading the receptionists name tag.

"I'm here to see my aunty Alexis. Is she in her office?"

"Oh, yes, yes, yes. You must be Saya. Oh aren't you a pretty little thing. Look at you, you look like a doll. Ah look at your skin it's flawless. Chief Kudo mentioned your visit today. She's in her office. Just go straight and it'll be the last door. She's in right now," Janet rattled on pointing her arm to the direction of the chief's office.

"Thank you Janet," Saya said with a smile amused at the receptionist babbling.

"Honey, my G.o.ddess. My beautiful G.o.ddess. The most beautiful woman on earth. Please forgive me. I wasn't ogling some celebrity. You must have heard wrong," the man on his knees begged.

"Oh so it wasn't you who was talking to that police officer, commenting on that singer's a.s.s," the woman in the chair sneered, ignoring the man on the floor that was clutching onto her right heel.

Police Chief Sota Kudo tried to explain to his wife what happen. Alexis Kudo went to the police department to asked her husband out for lunch when she caught him talking to his fellow officers about the bounciness and fullness of some singer's derrière. Angered by her husband's foolishness she threw one of her heels at him and hurriedly stormed off.

"Honey you were mistaken. I wasn't talking about any other woman's a.s.s. The boys were talking about this singer's amazing a.r.s.e and I was just arguing with them that your a.r.s.e was superior. I was just showing them that photo of you in a bikini and they said you resembled that singer. Oh but don't worry I definitely made it clear that yours was way fuller and bouncier."

Alexis quickly got up from her chair in anger almost knocking the things off her desk.

"YOU DID WHAT?! YOU SHOWED THEM WHAT?!," she screamed at her idiot husband.

"Hooooney."

Marching towards her stupid husband she was going to hit him again when she was interrupted by a cough.

*Cough* *Cough*

"Ahem," Saya said sheepishly, trying to let the couple know of her presence.
