The Destined Encounter 83 Chapter 17: Chances Are?

A lot of things are going on with Lance mind after his meeting with Aiden Miller. Everything he does makes his heart pound, his innocent smile out of pure excitement to help his co-Omega in need. Those thoroughly thought out well plan to in how to help this sinking boat Law firm that they have and the seriousness of his face and voice. Everything he did in that meeting makes it hard for Lance to breath. Somehow all Aiden's expression make him remember one particular person that he misses the most — hi wife.

He hate it just how much he sees him to him even though the two have different faces. He hate how other men has a claim over that man which clearly proves that Aiden is really different from Liam cause if it's his Liam then he won't be able to get married to someone else other than him cause they are bonded but the fact that the Omega is married is making it impossible. Lance leaned back his head and rested it on the swivel chair. "Their similarities starts and ends with their voices and reactions." Lance rub his face with his two hands out of frustrations he wants to get the idea that maybe Aiden is Liam out of his system. "Aaarrrrgggghhhh What were you thinking Lance! Aaarrrrgggghhhh He is dead and Aiden Miller happens to be someone who has little similarities to you."

Lance bend forward,, his elbows are on his thigh supporting the weight of his face that is resting on his palm. "He will not going to Comeback Lance we all know that. Liam is sweet and fragile he needs protection all the time. Aiden can look after himself." Lance chuckled. "He even manage to pin you down with all those Pheromones your released. My Liam wouldn't be able to do that. So why are you making yourself hope for the impossible?" Lance stayed there for minutes just talking to himself like a mad man confused to his own feelings. When he calmed down Lance decided to go out of the board room to go to his own office, while walking he pa.s.sed by Aiden Miller's office and heard a loud sound of someone being push hard against the wall. The curiosity got the best out of him so he went near to hear what was happening when he heard faint sounds of someone grunting. "Ugh, hhhaaaaa, aaaahhhhhh." Then followed by a loud tug and a scream... After that he heard Aiden's voice.

"Ouch, ouch. ouch." Aiden who sounds like he was a lot in pain. Lance couldn't here the conversation clearly so he went near and stick his ear to the wooden door of Aiden's office.

"You have never been lenient towards me." Aiden said who sounds like he was complaining.

"How will you learn if I have been too lenient on you. You won't learn anything if I will treat you like a fragile doll. Remember no pain no gain. So are you done?" Aiden's husband said. *So they like doing it rough.* Lance thought. *But they shouldn't do this kind of thing specially in the office.* Lance clenched his fist. *No wonder that Omega is savage the husband is savage too.* Lance thought again like he was having a conversation with himself.

"Yeah so let's go?" Lance heard Aiden so in panick he run back to the board room,

"Sir why are you running?" One of the staff who saw him asked.

"Sorry I forgot something at the boardroom." Lance lied.

When he reached the board room he tried to calm himself down before he came out again pretending like he just came out of the board room. As soon as Lance saw the two he can't helped but be angry after seeing how the Omega limps as he walked. *The two really have it rough for him to be limping like that.* Lance looked at George with contempt and coldness.

"You know you shouldn't be doing that kind of stuff in the office don't you?" Lance said. He knows that it was not his business but for some reason he can't stopped himself from saying those things. He saw confusion in Aiden's eyes and his lips that are half parted that's about to say something but Lance didn't gave him time and went on to say what's on his mind.

"Don't try to deny it, I heard grunting, scream and whining also the fact that you are limping now. You can't lie about those." Coldness was evident in Lance voice but Aiden's husband George gave him that Vexing smile that mocks him.

"Sorry about that, you see we haven't seen each other in a while so he couldn't really hold back." George words made Lance want to make that mouth of his bleed but he hold himself back. Fighting the man would only going to create an uproar and he doesn't want the simple matter gets too much personal so Lance prevent himself from saying unnecessary things that might entertain misunderstanding but Aiden's husband move towards him only to whisper something that will only fuel the raging unknown hate inside him for the man that say he's Aiden Miller's husband. "Next time I'll have his office soundproof."

Lance clenched his fist. and looked at Aiden with so much coldness in his eyes." Mr. Aiden Miller, you should control yourself and your husband. That kind of thing should be done in your own private abode. I will over looked at today's incident. I hope this won't happen again." Lance walked pa.s.sed by him intentionally hitting him on the shoulder. Lance doesn't want to be rude but at that moment he feels that the both deserves it.

"I can't believe he thought that we are married! That's so intense! And he even thought we did it f.u.c.k.... but Ai t that's gross really and hilarious at the same time." Aiden smiled at how his brother was enjoying the situation while he maneuver the car.

"He didn't even think and went straight to jumping into a conclusion." George said.

"He's always been that kind of man, he and his friends they love to jump into a conclusion. They a.s.sume things base on how they see it." Aiden said.

"Yeah most Alphas problem in this society."

"That's ok he can think whatever he wants, he's the one who a.s.sumed and concluded it himself not like I forced him to believe that. I just simply ride on to his own conclusions."

"But it's hilarious and entertaining to see that angry look on his face. I think you have caught his interest my dear brother."

"How can you say so?" Aiden said like it was nothing to him. "He's with that woman so how can he still be interested to someone else."

"Well how can he not be, you are pretty and smart. Everyone will fall for you!"

"You take too much pride on me I'm flattered G."

"You should be, after all you have my mother's face the most beautiful person in the world. Well at least that's for me but my wife is still the best."

"Well thank you." Aiden smiled.

"But seriously how did you look like back then? I envy Dad cause he saw your real face when you were still Liam. I wonder how my dear brother looks like when he's still Liam." George sighed he can't quite imagine his brother's facial features.

"I look just like any other omegas out there. I look fragile and feminine, I have less and thin body hair on my body just like any other omegas, I'm skiing hhhmmm what else and weak. I can't fight heads on to anyone. With just little presence of Alpha pheromones I can easily brought down to my knees." George saw how nonchalant Aiden when he said those things to his old self it's like baring at the same time insulting the old you with the way he says it.

"Thinking about now, I think I hate how weak I was back then. I lost my first child cause I'm emotionally and mentally weak, I failed to see the true intentions of the people around me and give them my full trust. I lost my second child cause I'm physically weak. I could not do anything to protect myself and my child. I lock knowledge and the only thing I know back then was to scream for help. I entrust my safety on other people cause I have no means of protecting myself and when all else fails I resorted to ending my life... I was really so weak that it disgust me." Aiden grip the steering wheel tightly but his face remain calm.

"Don't worry you are no longer that weak Omega. You already have the means to protect yourself. Ordinary Alphas won't be of any match to you and remember all the things I tought you, everything is not all about pheromones..... I don't teach you those things for Alpha's to take you down so easily..... Don't let other Alphas defeat you ok? I'll be the only exception to that." A crooked smile appeared on Aiden's resting straight lips.

"You are thinking way too high of yourself again G. I'm waited surprised that father agreed to let you and George live in our house."

"There's nothing much that Dad can do when it comes to us. You know how he is. He pretend not to refused at first but will gradually agreed to it."

"How did it go with George? You are newly married couples so I'm sure that she herself want a private s.p.a.ce for the two of you. You can't stay here forever you know that."

George showed him a wicked smile. "Don't worry my wife already agreed that we can't leave Dad and you alone and since we ourselves need our own private s.p.a.ce we decided to buy the land beside Dad's Mansion but that will be our little secret. So while it is still under construction me and my wife will stay at Dad's house.".

"You decided to build your home next to us?" George nodded. "You are crazy G?"

"I can't leave Dad alone he's the only parent that I have. I never met my mother and the only person who stand to be both my mother and father is Dad. The reason why I chose to be a Doctor is so that I can look after him myself. He's not like George father who still have a wife to look after him. My Dad only has me and you."

"I know that's why don't worry I won't leave Dad either."

Dexter is sitting in one of the OB-Gyn clinic which he has been visiting for weeks now after they arrive. Although he has been seeing other OB when Lee and him have to stay overseas because of Lee's family business he still decided see an OB here the next day they arrived here.

"Mr. Mejia please follow me." The doctor a.s.sisted him to a room and he was asked to have his pants remove let him wear a clinic gown when he's done the Doctor asked him to lay on bed and have his knees bend apart from each other. The Doctor along with his a.s.sistant prepared the equipment to use for the ultrasound. The Doctor put a condom on the head of the wand then after that a gel. Seconds later Dexter start to feel the probe entering him. The coldness of the gel and the awkward feeling of a foreign object inside him made Dexter very uncomfortable.

Dexter looked at the screen that is in black and white and wait till the Doctor said something. "There it is. Can you see it? Your baby?" Dexter can't help but be emotional, he can't believe it when two weeks ago his Doctor told him that he was indeed pregnant. They weren't able to detect it easily cause he was still in the early stage of his pregnancy but two weeks ago the Doctor said he was pregnant. He was asked to comeback for weekly check ups cause the baby's grip is a little weak and to wait for two more weeks before they could perform the ultrasound to see how's the baby's development and the location where it attached itself to Dexter's newly develop uterus, and now finally seeing it with his own eyes Dexter can't believe it, he can't believe that it might be possible that he can be one of those lucky Alpha's who can give their Alpha partners a family of their own.

"It's so tiny like a bean. My baby." The Doctor was smiling at him.

"You must have waited for a long time for this." The Doctor asked. "Seeing how determined you are the only alpha male here coming here all alone without feeling awkward being surrounded by female patients and Omega patients."

"It's for the man who I love. Although he keeps on saying that it's alright if we don't have our own I know he still wants to be a father and I also want to be a parent of his child, our child." Dexter has his gaze fixed on the monitor where he sees the tiny white ball of bean that the Doctor said is his baby.

"I noticed that you are working out and maintaining your good posture but since the baby's grip is a little weak base on your last week's internal examination I suggest for you to stop it for a while, no extreme work out or exercise for the mean time. Light ones will do just don't over do it or you might loss this little one here." The Doctor warned. "Won't the father come with you on your next check up?"

"Nope he still doesn't know but maybe you will surely see lots of his face after our wedding." Dexter laugh.

"Ow congratulations you are already getting married. Most of Alpha males I have encountered before goes to me for confirmation of pregnancy but once they new their face falls instantly in horror and the second thing I knew is that they where already asking me where they could have an abortion." Dexter can't imagine why would they want to abort their children.

" I don't get it why? Other people wants to have their own but them who have been given their own child why would they want to do such horrible thing?"

"Although it is a rare case for Alpha's to develop reproductive system it still doesn't eliminate the chances for such cases to occur and since it's Alphas nature to hold out their pride most of them who got pregnant can't face the disgusting and jusdging look on peoples face. Normal people tend to judge those who they don't see often. So you need to be strong. It might not be now cause it still doesn't show but when the baby gets bigger, your belly starts to grow and you need to give up the muscle shirts. Fit top and tight pants that you will end up wearing loose shirts and loose shorts or leggings that's where people will look at you differently..... You see Alpha's physique is different from female Alphas, Beta's and even on female and male Omega who are feminine so them wearing maternity dresses suits them well but Alpha males are masculine people look at them funny just by seeing them with huge belly. The reason why most Alpha male couples don't want a child or those who want can't have them which is why relationships between two Alphas doesn't work... Will you be alright?"

Dexter was speechless at the moment. It didn't occur to him the aftermath all he was thinking was to have a child with Lee. "If it's just their judging eyes then that's fine with me. It's not like I'm living base on their good judgement of me. My husband to be is different he will stick up to me no matter what, so I don't think we will have any problems with my pregnancy."

"That's good to hear." The Doctor smiled sweetly to him.

"Fair warning surely after the wedding my fiance will come often with me, please don't be annoyed with him cause he can be crazy sometimes. Not a little but crazy, crazy."

"Then I think I should ready myself then." The Doctor smile. "You are already in your 7th week so make sure to take all the vitamins I prescribed to you. Make sure to get enough sleep and no s.e.x for a while. Have you followed my advice not to have any penetrative intercourse last week?"

"Aaahhh yeah it was really quite challenging explaining it to him cause you see he is a little active and overly addictive over me." Dexter said shyly that his face starts to turn red. He really is not the kind of person who openly talks about his s.e.xual life with Lee to others knowing how Lee has a stamina of a beast he just can't bring himself to tell to others just how Lee can make him feel so good that he could not recognize himself being an Alpha. He totally becomes Lee's b.i.t.c.h who wants to wh.o.r.e himself just for Lee to pound on him but the part of Lee being addicted to him is at least true because Lee never fails to tell him that he is like his drugs that he can't get enough whenever he refuses the other to have s.e.x with him.

"So instead of doing that we are doing it oral lately. Though he respects my decision he still complains that alone in not enough." Dexter laugh remembering how Lee pouts after their oral s.e.x and other none penetrating sessions at night.

"Yeah he is. Even when he was courting me and after we have been together. He waited till I was ready, he never rushed me nor forced me. He was always the kind of guy who puts me first." Dexter answered her.

"I was just wondering not that I'm complaining why get a female OB-gyne and not a male one? Alpha males and Omegas usually come to me back then because we don't have any Male OB but now that we have so why specially choose a female Doctor?"

"Because my fiance is an extremely jealous type of man. He will break the face of any man who would dare to touch me down there so I figure to just get a female one at least he won't be jealous and that will save me some trouble of him hurting anyone." Dexter saw the fear and shock on the Doctor's face. "Don't worry since you are a female he won't dare to hurt you. He only gets violent when it involves other guys. I told you he's crazy."

"If he is that possessive he should have somebody to come with you instead of letting you go all by yourself." The Doctor suggested.

"Actually he has." Dexter laugh awkwardly. "They are just around here somewhere.

"What a weird guy."

"That he truly is." Dexter agreed.

"Do you want to hear the baby's heart beat?" The Doctor asked.

"Will I really be able to hear it?" Dexter was full of excitement after all this will be the first time he will hear his baby's heart beat that proves that it is alive and growing inside him.

"Yes." The Doctor turned on the monitors volume and waited for the probed inside him to pick up any betting sounds then a minute pa.s.sed they were able to hear a soft faint sounds "tug tug, tug tut." The sounds of his baby's heart beat made his eyes well up in tears of joy.

"Your baby is healthy and doing good just remember all the do's and don't ok?"

Dexter walk out of the clinic feeling satisfied and heart full of happiness. He can't wait till his wedding cause that's when he plans to tell Lee about the good news. He wants to share to other people what or how his husband will react to his news. Dexter looked down to his still flat belly. "For now let's just keep it to ourselves. We need to make sure that your Daddy will behave for the mean time. Mommy can't risk you just because of your Daddy's s.e.xual needs."

Dexter talked to his baby. He can't believe that he will be talking to his baby that it growing inside of him. all his childhood till his adolescent days he thought he will talk to his baby through his wife's belly but all those things change when Lee came into the picture. He truly unmanned the Alpha like him and made him carry his baby. But if he will be given a chance to go back in time he will still going to choose to do it all over again. Lee is the only person who made him feel love. For five years he never fail to show him and tell him how much he loves him that only made Dexter love the Alpha even more. He went to the parking lot and looked at his Ducati Motorcycle bike which he got from Lee and then down to his belly. He sighed and call the guard a.s.signed to him by Lee.

"h.e.l.lo Charles come here I'll take the car that you are driving, you drive my motor bike." Seconds later he saw the black sedan approaching his Direction and from there two men came down. Dexter went straight to the drivers seat Harvey you sit in the front. Charles go take my bike. The two men are confused. Dexter is the kind of man that is not a fond of cars that's why he usually goes with his motor bikes but this time the Alpha actually let his motor bike be driven by other person other than him. Even though they are confused they followed his instructions without question.

Dexter drive the car he was planning to go home straight but he felt sudden hunger rush in when he pa.s.sed by the coffee shop where he saw someone eating a huge clubhouse sandwich, because of the sudden craving Dexter decided to stop by the shop to have a take out order that turns into a dine in order while waiting for his additional take out order. He couldn't resist it and just went on eating the piece of the sandwiches while he waits for his take out. He also ordered the same thing for his bodyguards who are sitting far from his table and to those who are outside.

"Dext..." Dexter looked at the person who just called him

"Maica?" Dexter can't believe that he will meet that woman who was once his best friend that he first fell in love with. He raised his hand to signal his body guard that it was ok.

"Dexter I can't believe to b.u.mp into you here." Maica hug him tightly. "Ow I'm sorry for getting a head of myself it's just I really missed you. The last time we have seen each other is when you confess to me. After that I didn't hear from you. Your sister said they don't have any news about you after you cut ties from them. They didn't exactly told me the reason why though. So how are you?" Maica who is smiling excitedly sat down just across him waiting for him to tell him the story of the places he has been just like the old days when the two are inseparable.

"Maica, I have been good." Dexter simply answered, he doesn't want to stay there much longer it the is one person that Lee is jealous of that would be his ex best friend that Lee doesn't even want to know the name of the later.

"I missed you Dext, I was really happy whenever we are together and in those years we are apart I just realized how happy you made me." Dexter noticed the sadness to Maica's voice.

"Is there something wrong?" Dexter asked in worry.

"No, I mean yeah. No nothing we shouldn't be talking about sad things with our reunion. It's not everyday that we get to see each other again." Maica said.

"Maica you should talk your problem with your husband. It won't be good for both of you to keep secrets from one another." Dexter advice.

"Calvin no longer cares about me. We have been married for five years now but he still doesn't want to mark me. It's like he doesn't want to take a responsibility towards me." Maice begin to cry.

"No one really wants to hear me. You're the only one who are always the to listen to my problems."

"Maica..."

"Can't we be friends again?" Maica hold both of his hands.

"Maica....."

"I'm sorry that I rejected you back then. I'm sorry if I hurted you back then. I'm really am sorry but can I get my best friend back again?" Dexter felt pity towards the woman he used to love. It's true the reason why their friendship ends because Dexter could not accept that his best friend couldn't return his feelings towards her. Dexter looked at his belly and smile he realized now is different from before that Lee is the person that he loves now and the two of them are about to have a baby.

"I'm sorry too for being childish over the fact that you can not return my feelings but I'm thankful cause without you rejecting me I wouldn't be able to meet that person who love me unconditionally and whom I love unconditionally too. And about us being friends again, is there any reason that we should not?" Dexter asked

"So you mean?"

"Yes." Maica jumped from where she's sitting to hug Dexter again.

"Come on I'm going to introduce you to him." Dexter said.

"Him?" Maica asked.

"Yes him." Dexter confirmed. Maica thought that Dexter's lover is. a male Omega she never thought it was the complete opposite of what she was expecting.

"Why am I here again?" Teakyun asked, he was sitting together with two of his brother's friends Zeejay and Derek they are now inside the private room of an exclusive coffee shop.

"Dude." Teakyun glared at him.

"I mean Tea, you see the three of us have one goal and the is to make those Omegas....."

"He's a beta." Derek corrected him.

"I mean Omegas and beta fall for us. So the three of us should stick in making a plan on how to make them fall for us, Specially You Derek! You are the key so I can make Nick mine again. You have to seduce that Drake b.a.s.t.a.r.d so he would leave my Nick alone." Derek who doesn't like violence grab Zeejay by his collar.

"He's not a b.a.s.t.a.r.d." Derek said with those voice that's warning him not to say something ugly about the Beta.

"Ok, ok...." Zeejay raised both of his hands in surrender. "Geez Derek you don't need to be that harsh." Zeejay was still busy fixing his collar when Teakyun got up.

"Teakyun where are you going?" Zeejay asked.

"Home to where Theo is. I only got limited time to make him fall for me again. to prove myself worthy of him again I can't waste anymore of my time here." Zeejay jump from his feet and run hugging Teakyun by his legs to prevent him from stepping any further.

"Brother Teakyun you need to hear my plan firssssssttt..... Please help us!" Zeejay shout not letting go of Teakyun's legs.

"He won't let go until he gets what he want. Zeejay is persistent. If Lee is crazy, Zeejay's persistency will going to drive you crazy so if I were you I would get back to my seat and listen to him." Derek explained that made Teakyun sighed exasperatingly.

"Ok you have ten minutes to explain your plan in details." Teakyun said dropping himself to the Cafe's couch.

"Ok, ok the three of us have the same goal and that is to get those three to fall for us. Derek with Drake and me with Nick. Drake and Nick are together so Derek here will make Drake to fall for him leaving Nick all alone and that's where I'm going in the picture. I will try to console Nick and be his charming prince to the rescue. You Tea on the other hand will inform us what is happening inside and what they doing. their plans for the day and where they will go."

"And how was that will benefit me? In that plan you two will get what you want but what's there for me." Teakyun.

"Relax, relax you see both Nick and Drake are friends of Theo if in the process of making them fall we will also try to make you look good in front of Theo's friend we will also going to gather information about Theo's family and him. We will try to help you in everything you will think of. way in making him fall for you. So how's that for a plan?"

"Fair enough. So what's you first move? Do you have any?" Teakyun asked.

"Yes of course I do have, Here!" Zeejay took out five tickets in the amus.e.m.e.nt park.

"What's this?" Teakyun asked.

"That's a ticket to an amus.e.m.e.nt park. I was given a good tip that amus.e.m.e.nt parks are great place to make someone fall for you." Teakyun looked at him suspiciously.

"And who was it who told you that?" Teakyun asked.

"A love guru..... The love guru told me that if we take our love ones to this kind of place the percentage of making them fall is 100% guaranteed.... Why have you ever been to an amus.e.m.e.nt park?" Zeejay asked.

"No, how about you?"

"No, but I also did my research it is a place for couples to date too that's why we really need to try it." Zeejay insisted.

"But why with just five tickets?" Teakyun asked.

"Of course if we go with you Nick won't come but if you invited them without knowing that we will come then surely all of them will come. Take that Drake man and his son with you. We will meet here in the amus.e.m.e.nt park and pretend that it was just coincidence. You'll not only going to make yourself look good in front of Theo by inviting everyone but you will also going help us. It is a win-win situation. So are you in?" Teakyun think carefully of Zeejay's plan and thought that it could actually work. The moment he could spend with Theo there might help him to make the Omega warm up to him.

"Ok I'm in but make sure that they will never going to find out about me being you two's accomplice."

Chapter 17 Sneak Peek

Aiden walked to his office but was halted by the familiar voice that called him uncle. He never expect to hear it in this kind of place so to be sure he turned around to confirm it with his own eyes. He can't believe wha he was seeing he rub his eyes to make sure that he's seeing it right but his eyes are not deceiving him so he close his eyes in disbelief only to open them again and there he is the boy that keeps on calling him running towards him with his little steps till he reaches him and went straight to hug his thigh.

"Uncle Lander misses you." Lander who burrow his face to his thigh slowly looked up to him. "You said you will visit Lander." Lander said it with his cute chubby cheeks and lips that are pouting.

Aiden smiled awkwardly at some point he actually forget about visiting the boy. "Sorry Uncle Aiden was just very busy that uncle forgot." Aiden Pat the head of the kid. He knelt down so he could level himself with Lander. "But uncle always make sure to have eyes over Lander to make him safe."

Though Aiden might have forgot about visiting the kid but he always make sure to have the kids movements, where about and conditions be supervised. Not a day pa.s.ses by that the people he a.s.signed won't report any to him. He made sure to instruct them if Bea has ever lay a hand on the boy or if something happened to the boy. Aiden looked around to see if the boy is with someone but no one was around. He wonder why his people never mentioned about this to him.

Aiden tried to hide his frustrations in front of Lander but made sure to note to himself to talk to his people about this.
