The Destined Encounter 48 Chapter 48: The Party Part 2

Hi everyone another update for you guys. Can I just say how hot it is now to where I live in like literally hot and humid. I have to take a bath at least 3 times a day just for me to feel refreshed. The heat index is around 41-42 degrees Celsius. AARRGGHHH that sucks really, makes me want to eat mais con yelo or saging con yelo, buko pandan, mango Graham's and such. It's 1:18 in the morning here and yet I'm craving for those. We are actually in the Season 4 extension of the Enhanced Community Quarantine so I think those delicacies needs to wait.

Dexter was fuming mad he thought Lee was different but he's no better than a happy go lucky kind of guy. He stood up with so much confidence believing in him that Lee would show them just who he is to him. He doesn't know but the mere fact that Lee was still in contact with those kind of people makes his blood boils. He was still brisk walking when suddenly a hand just grab him halting him from walking away. "I said wait up!" Shouts.

"What's your problem. We are ok just a minute ago and then you are suddenly acting like this!" Lee added he knows that he shouldn't be angry at Dexter but he just can't help but feel furious after Dexter just told him to stop their relationship over some simple things.

"What's my problem really? You're really asking me that?!" Dexter shouted back at him. He is not usually the kind of man who losses his cool but for some reason what happened earlier just broke the calmness he has inside.

"Kids I think you should talk somewhere private not here. People are looking." Lee's father said he was still catching his breath. From the looks of it, it seems that his father run after them.

"No thanks Sir, I'll be going home. Thank you for having me here. It looks like you are right. You're son will be going home with someone else tonight." Dexter said without taking his eyes off of Lee.

"Who says you can go. I told you already I won't be going home with someone else other than you why are you being so stubborn about this." Lee can no longer control the anger he has been feeling.

"Why do you care? When you can't even cut ties with those flings and f.u.c.k buddies of yours." Dexter mockingly stated the fact.

"I told you we are not doing anything wrong! I didn't have s.e.x with them!" Lee was already shouting which make the people gathered around.

"You didn't had s.e.x with them, you just made out with them. Is that it? You still justifies that though it's wrong you still stand by your belief that it's not wrong and tries to justify your action?" Dexter asked. "I can't go out with a man who claims that he loves me but keeps on sucking faces and all with others. That's not love Lee." Dexter turned his back to walk away but was hold back by Lee's hands.

"I said wait, we are not yet done here Dexter." Dexter can no longer contain his anger and just hit Lee on the face which made Lee fall from the floor. Dexter start walking away again.

"I don't want to do this but you leave me with no choice." Lee mumble. His father didn't like the look on his sons face.

"N-no Son don't!" Shout his father but he was too late. Lee released a sudden and full force of pheromones which knock out people near that area who is susceptible to that kind of sudden explosion of Pheromones, including Dexter. Lee was still catching his breath after pulling such stant off.

Lee got up but was sent back again to where he was seated before by his Dad's punch. "What the f.u.c.k did you just do Lee!" Lee didn't even flinched he knew that his father was angry but right now all he cares about is to fixed what he has with Dexter. He's getting desperate. He can see in Dexter's eyes the resentment, disgust and disappointment towards him.

Lee got up and walk towards where Dexter is lying. He tried to carry Dexter like a sack of rice before looking at his Dad. "I have no choice Dad, he's getting away. He doesn't want to listen, I don't want that, I can't let that happen. I'll apologize properly the next time but for now I have to go." Lee was about to leave when his Dad spoke.

"Take your lover upstairs. Me and your mother book a room here. Let your head cool down there and when he wakes up talk to him calmly don't use force and your Pheromones just because you are more dominant than he is. You're the one who's in wrong here go figured it out or you'll really going to loose this one." Dong-ha put the card keys to his pocket.

Lee took Dexter to the room that his parents book for themselves. He lay down Dexter on the bed, remove his shoes and coat. He looked at his sleeping face. "You even tried so hard to fix yourself to make a good impression and yet here we are fighting not just in front of the guest but also in front of my parents." Lee whispered, he cares Dexter's face.

"I was really angry when you asked me if will I liked it if you flirt with other people and make out with them, and then you go saying we should stopped this. It really hurts me you know." Keeps on talking as if the sleeping Dexter will talked back but little did Lee knows that Dexter was starting to regain consciousness he is after all a dominant Alpha too but Lee is on a different level.

"If it hurts you then know that it hurts me more than you are hurting now." Dexter scorn, he wanted to get up but he still feels dizzy and his legs is still wobbly.

"You're awake. I'm sorry if I ever used my Pheromones on you. I was really getting desperate you are so determined in leaving me." Dexter looked at him, Lee was a messed. He didn't know that fight could make this carefree man so messed up in just a short period of time.

"Who's person in their right mind would still want to stick in a relationship as s.h.i.tty as you want it to be. I think it's best if we just accept it. It would benefit us more if we stop this now. Before this feelings I have for you gets deeper it would be best to stop now." Dexter can see the panic Lee's eyes.

"If we stop then you can do everything and anything you want, there will be no more Dexter in the picture to stop you and lecture you on what's right and wrong. And me I'll be able to save my heart from future heart aches." Dexter blows a loud breath. "See it's a win win situation for both of us."

"No, no, no, no. Dexter don't be like this. We are just starting. You already said just now that you already have feelings for me so why should we stop now?"

"Cause I don't want to get hurt again. The best friend I told you before She's the person I have love for a very long time. I endure the pain of loving her even though I know that she loves someone else. I don't want to end up hurting like that again. I don't want to love you fully only to endure the pain of knowing that I don't own you wholly. I may have your heart but your body doesn't exclusively belongs to me cause for you that is something you have been doing ever since." Dexter looked away, he doesn't want Lee to see the tears in his eyes. He wanted to look cool even for the last moment before they could end their relationship and part ways.

"If I stopped doing those things. If I change and do everything that you want. Will you stay?" Lee asked he is really getting desperate and if abandoning his pride will save his relationship with him then to heck with it. Dexter remained silent.

"I won't talk to them, even to those who I don't know but keeps on sending me signals I won't. I won't make out with other people anymore just you. I'm sorry if I ever hurt you in anyway. I thought that only when you had s.e.x with others that can be considered as cheating I didn't know that doing those things is not also a good thing when you are in a relationship." Dexter looked at him.

Lee took Dexter's hand who is still lying on the bed."I don't know anything about relationships and it will be hard to break some old ugly habit of mine but please bare with me. Don't leave me." Lee cried.

"If I'm being an a.s.s just punch me all you want like you did earlier. Just don't leave me, don't say things like you're breaking up with me or you want to stop this. Please." Dexter can't understand but with those simple plead his heart immidiately gives in.

Dexter gesture him to come closer. Lee complied an leaned down on top of Dexter but to his surprise Dexter pulled him to a steamy hot kissed. Dexter bit his lower lip which made Lee open his mouth slightly. Dexter took this chance to slid his tongue in. "Dexy honey, is this really the time to be asking that?" Lee complained.

"Then we need to clean up, fixed ourselves and get back down. I bet they are worried about us after all that commotion. Ow your parents. I'm sure after what happened they will come to hate me." Dexter was already in a panic.

Lee leaned down to capture his lips. " Don't worry too much. It's my fault, I'm the one who's wrong I'll take responsibility. Go take a shower I'll fix things here." Dexter followed what Lee told him and got himself under a cold shower to calm himself down. After stepping out of the shower he looked at himself in the mirror and see the red spots which was left by Lee. "If people were going to see these they deffinitely going to think we did it. Though we didn't even go all the way." Dexter said to himself. He was thankful enough that Lee didn't go all the way with him.

Dexter found Lee sitting on the bed side and was talking with someone on the phone. When Lee noticed him he immidiately hangs up his phone. "Who was that?" Dexter asked out of curiosity.

"The woman who I was talking with earlier. The one who you confronted. She's asking if I'll be back. I told her that I won't see nor have anything to do with her." Dexter raised one of his eye brows and remain silent.

"Believe me I already blocked her number. Here." Lee handed him his phone. "If you want to anytime you want you can check my phone. I won't mind."

Dexter pushed back his phone to him. " That would be doubting not trusting." Dexter flatly said. " You know what I want so I trust you to do what's right without me keeping an eye on you 24/7." Dexter sit on the beside while drying his hair. "Relationship is all about building trust not keeping your partner under surveillance."

Dexter stopped what he was doing and looked at Lee. " I have given you a chance I'm expecting you to prove me that I made the right decision in trusting you. By the way where are my clothes?" Dexter stand up to look for his clothes which he can't find but was halted when he felt Lee hug him from behind.

"Thank you. I can't promise you anything but to try my best to learn from my mistakes. I don't know much about relationships so I'm apologizing in advance if there will be times that I will be hurting you just like today because of my obliviousness but I will try my best to learn a thing or two on how to make this works. Just don't give up on me." There's a hint of sadness and hurt in Lee's voice that didn't escape Dexter's ears.

"Just try asking me first. If there are things you don't know, asked me. There are also many things that I do not know but maybe we can learn together as we go along with our relationship." Dexter can feel Lee's head nod from behind.

"About your clothes I sent them to the laundry. I ordered a new set of suit and underwear that we could wear. I'll just be in the shower while you change." Lee said as he let go of Dexter's body from his hug. Dexter quickly turned around and gave him a light peck on the lips. "Go now wash yourself clean." Dexter said.

The two Alphas went down once they are done changing and fixing themselves like nothing happened. Other people who witnessed what happened followed them with their eyes but didn't dare to say anything. Lee took Dexter's hand and locked it with his. Dexter just looked at it but didn't say anything until someone just tap Lee's shoulder behind his back. Lee turned around and almost had a heart attack because of his father.

"Dad what the heck you almost gave me a heart attack." Lee whispered yelled at his Dad.

"You're still young that would be impossible. So it looks like you two finally made up." Dong-ha said.

Dexter was about to apologise when Lee's father turned his gaze towards him giving him a smile. "Young man can I borrow my son for a minute? It won't take long I just need to talk to him man to man."

"S-sure S-sir." Dexter said nervously. "Ow don't call me Sir just call me Dad." Dong-ha suggested.

"Dad! You're making him uncomfortable." Lee complain.

Lee's Dad didn't even mind him and just continue with what he was saying. "Or if you find it too uncomfortable then maybe we could start with you calling me uncle first." The man said.

"Y-yes uncle." Dexter stuttered

"That's a good boy. So I'll just be borrowing my son for a while. I'll be bringing him back to you once we are done." Dong-ha put his arm around his sons shoulder as he took him away from Dexter.

Dexter now wonder to where he could go to kill sometime as he waits for Lee and his Dad to finished talking. His thinking was cut off when he felt someone tap him from behind so he looked over his shoulder and was surprised to see Lee's mother with a smile on her face. " Do you have time to spare? Maybe we could grab something and talk."

"Dad what is it that you want to talk to that you even drag me here. Dexter is waiting for me!" They are now sitting in the hotel's bar long table.

"Don't worry your mother is keeping him company." His Dad said. " Can you please give us one bottle of Scotch, two gla.s.ses and a bucket of ice." His father requested.

"Are you planning in getting us drunk? I have to go Dad unlike you I still need to drive." Lee was about to leave when his father's voice roar which indicates that the man is serious and can't be messed with. "Sir down Lee! Or I swear if you don't do as you are told you won't be seeing that man again.

With that threat Lee immidiately seated down. "What do you want to talk about?" Lee asked getting straight to the point. His father poured him a gla.s.s of drink.

"Are you serious with that young man you just brought and introduce to us?" His father asked finishing the gla.s.s of scotch in one gulp.

"Yes Dad. I am serious about him." Lee said without batting an eye.

"You are serious and yet you don't know how to run a serious relationship." His father commented. "I think it is also my and Rebecca's fault that the two of you grew up so carefree that you no longer care. We are not beside you two while you were growing up. The two of us have been very busy in running the business that we have which was still a small firm at that time." His father half scoffed and half chuckled.

"We only realized it when the two of you already have the mind on your own that can make a decision for yourselves." His father gulp another gla.s.s of liquor.

"I thought your brother has already changed and was happily settled down and here you are saying you love that man but openly flirting with other people."

"Dad I know now that it was wrong. Dexter explained it to me. I was scared as s.h.i.t Dad. Never in my life that I have been that scared." Lee finished his gla.s.s in one go.

"It may have been too late but still if you need some piece of advice don't hesitate is talking to your old man. This old man after all has kept his marriage for 32 years."

"Don't be absurd Dad you don't look like 57 you look more like a man in their 30's." Lee said true to his words his parents doesn't look old.

"That's what the power of love does to you. It makes you look youthful so if you don't want to end up old and bald then find a right love and keep it."

Dexter didn't know what happened he just found himself sitting in the hotel's coffee lounge. "Dear so what do you think about the coffee does it taste good?" Lee's mother asked. "Y-yes Ma'am." Dexter said he feels nervous and embarra.s.sed at the same time. Right at that moment he just wants the floor to open up and to swallowed him whole.

"Now, now don't call me Ma'am just call me Mom." The woman whose name is Rebecca said. "I won't take no for an answer. Unlike Dong-ha I won't accept it you calling me auntie, No. I want you to call me Mom."

"Ye-yes Mom." Dexter said.

"First of I want to apologise on behalf of my son. I know what my Son did is clearly wrong. So I'm very sorry." The woman bow down to show her sincerest apologies.

"Ma'am, no I mean Mom please don't apologise."

"A child's action is their parents responsibility. Even though we are not the ones who done the deed it's still count us our responsibility to make sure that our children will learned the basic of what is right and wrong but unfortunately both me and my husband miserably failed in that aspect." Dexter can sense the guilt glistening in the woman's eyes as she explained to her the situation of their family.

"We are struggling financially that time and was so eager to climb the ladder of success so we can give both our boys the best future we can offer them but it was too late when we realized that we failed the give them the most important lesson and that is life. We forgot to teach them the reality of life, how to be compa.s.sionate, to love the right way, to weight what's right and wrong and many things."

Rebecca hold his hand.

"I think you can teach my son what we failed to teach him. He doesn't know much anything about relationships but with how he reacts towards you I know for a fact that he loves you and love can change people in so many ways. I know that he is a big headache but just give him some time and bare with him, I know he'll come around."

Dexter just smiled at her. He doesn't know what kind of situation he is getting his self into but he won't know unless he tried. "The bet." Dexter said.

"I'm sorry what?" Rebecca asked.

"I mean who won the bet?" Dexter asked which made Rebecca laugh.

"The moment my son carried you like a sack of rice my husband concede defeat. We saw it in my son's eyes that he won't let you go home alone thus making me a winner. Ow before I forgot, let me have your phone." Dexter gave his phone to Lee's mother.

"Ow how cute." Dexter looked at what Lee's mother pertaining to and saw the wallpaper that he has. "Your son wanted that to be our phone screen." Dexter explain. The woman smiled at him before typing something to his phone, afterwards she gave the phone back to him. "In case something happened just give me a call ok? Ow and if my stupid son start being an a.s.s again you can punch him on the face like you did earlier, you have my permission." Dexter was speechless for a moment because of what he just heard.

"How was your talk with your father?" Dexter asked. "I don't know it's weird. It's actually the first time he talked about lessons in life and such and I just realized he sucks in giving advices, I can't even consider it as an advice but more on whining on how they couldn't be a better parents to me and my brother. They sucks at giving guidance. Maybe that also the reason me and my brother didn't learn anything. The two are always away and busy but we never really hold it against them." Lee hold Dexter's one hand and stare at it. "How was your meeting with my mother?" Lee asked

"H-how-----,"

"How did I know? My old man told me." Lee simply say. "It seems that they have been planning on taking a talk with the two of us. Don't be creeped out of them, they maybe weird but trust me they are uuhhmmm..." Dexter looked at Lee who is trying to think of a word to follow to what he was saying. "Weird? I don't know all my life I've known them for being weird and eccentric but trust me they are good people just plain weird." Lee said he really can't find a word to describe his weirdo parents.

"I guess that's where you got your weirdness from." Dexter commented. Lee looked at him with a hurt in his eyes.

"I know I'm weird but they are on a different level! Anyways what you and my mom talked about?" Lee asked.

"Nothing she just simply told me to kick your a.s.s if ever you start being an a.s.s again. She'll even cheer on me that's what she said." Dexter looked at him. "Should I kick your a.s.s? Your Mom wouldn't mind." Dexter playfully asked.

"Yeah you should just don't say you'll leave me. Promise me you will never going to say that we are over and that you will leave me."

Dexter could not find the words to say, what Dexter hate the most is making promises when he himself is not use on what the future holds. Specially when he deals with unpredictable person as Lee. So stand up and excused himself. "I-I need to get to the comfort room." Dexter said excusing himself.

Dexter just got out of the comfort room of the venue when he saw a familiar face so he followed the woman who he thought he knew and saw her go to any place where Lance is. She might not be approaching Lance directly but she always stand near to where Lance is, talking occasionally to other people and stuff. Dexter felt uneasy somehow with the woman's actions.

"What are you doing hiding behind the post?" Dexter almost jump upon hearing the whispered question right behind him.

"Oh it's just you." Dexter hold his chest with his one hand trying to calm his startled heart.

Lee looked at him suspiciously. "Are you stalking someone?"

"Yes, No I mean no!" Dexter took his phone out and dialed his friends number. "You need to get here. The b.i.t.c.h is here and I think she's trying to pull something off." Dexter said. Lee was still confused by Dexter's actions.
