The Destined Encounter 18 Chapter 18: Fury

"Has my wife returned?" Lance ask one of the staff in his office. It was getting dark outside. He just can't shake the bad feeling as time pa.s.ses by that Liam is not by his side. He tried calling his secretary but she's not answering. after the first two missed calls Lance decided to check his wife's GPS tracking his wife's location. He immediately went to his car and drove his way to the coffee shop where the tracking is pointing at.

He was mid way when he decided to call his secretary again. No answer came to the other line, he keeps on dialing again and again and still n.o.body answered his call until he can no longer reach the number. He decided to call his wife but it was also the same with his secretary. He dialed his wife's number again but this time the call was cancelled. infuriated with what's happening Lance decided to call his wife's number again but it was not answered by his wife. Lance left a message after the call. "I'll be there in 5 minutes. I need explaining from the both of you. Specially you Liam." Lance was so angry that he called Liam by his name and not with his usual endearment to him.

It took Lance less than 5 minutes before he arrived at the coffee shop. He didn't even bother parking his car to the parking lot instead he just left it in front of the Cafe. He followed the tracking device which led to the manager's office. Some of the staff tried to stop Lance from going in there but the Alphas glare is enough for them to stop getting in Lance way. Lance can sense his wife's pheromones the moment he entered the cafe but the pheromones in front of the door is much stronger than from the entrance of the Cafe. He is most certain that his wife is behind that door. He can also sense that heavy, dark emotions that are mixed to his wife's pheromones which alarmed the Alpha. Lance didn't waste anymore time and kick the door open.

Everyone on the other side of the door was surprised with what Lance did, but he was more surprised by what he saw. His secretary being held down by two men, two girls standing and one girl holding a phone that looks like she's filming a video and the person who is being filmed is non other than his wife who is now lying on the floor with his undoned polo and shorts that is still intact but his belt is already unbuckled and a man who is top less pants and underwear down showing his full erect shaft topping his wife who is now crying.

"Sir." It was the secretary who first broke the silence. Lance calmly closed the door behind him and said. "I'll be counting to 3, by that time I don't want you on top of my wife."

Lance seated beside his wife. "I'm a very possessive and protective husband." Lance looked at Liam's sleeping face and saw the cut on his lips, Bruce on his neck and arms. Lance walk to the girl who is now bending almost facing the floor due to the heavy atmosphere caused by Lance pheromones. Lance lifted the girl's face "Just how expensive is that dress? I can a.s.sure you that I can buy you a hundred of that dress, a replacement for what my wife ruined." Lance was not yet done with what he was doing when he heard his secretary.

Once they reach Lance vacation house in that island he immediately called a doctor to come and after that he called someone to make an investigation for him. " Adrian, I want you to investigate someone for me. Work with Ms. Kim. I want the information first thing in the morning." Lance looked at Ms. Kim " Thank you for today Ms. Kim, someone will call you tonight I want you to work with that person. You can go home now."

"Sir I am very sorry, I was not able to protect your wife. I am very sorry." Ms. Kim apologize to Lance.

"I am very angry right now. If your going to ask me I want those f.u.c.kers dead. But non of these is your fault. So just cooperate with the person who will call you. I won't let those kids get away with what they have done to my wife."

Liam woke up in the middle of the night alone. He quickly examine and feel himself. He is wearing a pajama but he doesn't feel anything weird down there not even pain. He look around him and found himself in their room in Lance's one of vacation houses outside the city. He got up looking for his husband who is not by his side. It is a rare thing for him waking up without his husband not beside him.

Liam found Lance on the terrace smoking some cigarette. He quickly took the cigarette from his husband's mouth. "D-dont smoke, it's bad for your health." Liam said. He could not meet his husband's gaze afraid that he felt disgusted with him.

Lance lifted his wife's face and kissed him pa.s.sionately and gently. After the kiss Liam spoke "I'm sorry, I-I didn't mean for it to happen. I-I tried fighting him off but he's just too strong. "You owe me big time Mrs. Montero. You made this man very angry and worried" Lance whispered that stopped Liam from laughing. "Wh-what do you want me t-to do? s-so I could make i-it up to you."
