The Destined Encounter 14 Chapter 14: Playing Cupid

"Please auntie take care of my children for the mean time." Fear and nervousness filled Chester's mind as he pleads the old woman to temporarily take care of his children. The moment Terrence found Chester he knew that he needed to stay away from the twin if he wants to hide their existence from their father. He won't let the man take away his precious bundle of joy even if it means not seeing them. "Thank you, thank you for understanding. I know I'm asking for too much but thank you. No, no I won't come home. I'll look for another place to stay far from there. I can't let him know about the twin. I understand thank you Auntie." Chester wipes his tears away the moment the phone call ended. He sit on the toilet bowl in one of the toilet cubicles inside the kitchen. His mind is filled with what could he possibly do.

A knock brought Chester to reality. "Chess are you ok?" The owner ask. Chester open the door. "Sir I'm ok. Don't worry I'm ok Sir."

"Is he the father?" Chester can only nod at the owner's question. "Terrence Harris. Of all people it why it has to be Terrence Harris." Chester knows what the owner means. The Harris are known to

for their Family lineage of Lawyers. They hold the reputation of being the best of the best. The renowned Harris Law Firm has never loss a case that's why many wants to be in their favour. "You do know that if ever he finds out about your kids, I mean his kids including that one growing inside you. You'll loss the custody." Chester tear begin to drop one by one. He can't let his babies be taken away from him. He'll die if they were taken away from him. "He will never going to find out." Chester with full of conviction will never let the man knows about the existence of his children.

"What's the name of your co-worker? The one who was standing beside you? What's his name?" Terrence ask hoping Liam would answer him. He was not given a chance to know the young man's name as the owner suddenly sent the boy back to the kitchen also the same moment Liam demanded Terrence that the two of them should head back to Lance's office.

"Terrence I know you. You're a good guy but for the whole year I have come to know you, I can tell when you are eyeing a target. Please spare that man Chester had been through so much besides he already have a bond so leave him be." Liam as if pleading for the letting his friend off.

A strong punch landed on Lance face. The moment Terrence got into Lance's office he didn't waste anymore time and stride a punch on Lance's face.

"What the heck!" All Lance can say as he stayed siting on the floor holding his cheek that is stinging from the punch he just received.

"You!" Terrence pointed is finger angrily. "You knew I was looking fo him and yet why did you only told it to me just today!" Pacing back and forth.

"Easy now man. I just realized it until last night when my wife told me about his co-worker." Liam immediately run towards Lance and help him to get up from the floor. "You should be thanking me instead I just cut short your long searching." Lance rebut .

"Love what are you talking about what's does Chess anything to do with Terrence?" Liam looking at Lance confused with what's happening.

"Love you see this stupid friend of mine has been searching like crazy for almost two years now!----"

"1 year and 10 months exactly" Terrence cut to what Lance are saying.

"Yeah 1 year and wait what dude are you even counting? Oh you got it bad. Don't go around playing I'm telling you, you got this bad." Lance gives his warning with that playful smirk on his face.

"No, No I'm just uuurrrrggghhh. It doesn't mean anything period___" Terrence who can no longer contain the annoyance that he is feeling towards what his best friend told him, decided to storm out of Lance's office without saying goodbye.

That playful smirk didn't escape Liam's gaze and beside there are a lot of things he wanted to ask his husband. "I don't get what is happening, Love explain it to me now!" Liam commanded crossing his arms in front of him.

"Love you see Terrence is the bond of your co-worker___ ow aw aw, Love that hurts. Let go of my ear please aw aw." Lance pleaded while struggling as Liam starting to pinch and pull his ear upon hearing that his good husband just orchestrated the meeting of the two. "What are you playing now, Cupid? I made it clear yesterday that Chess is hiding from his bond. Now you just blew it!" Liam said angrily refusing to let go the latter's ear.

"I know, I know I'm sorry I just want to help I think my stupid best friend doesn't know he is in love with his bond. Must have been love at first sight." As soon as Lance explained Liam let go of Lance's ear.

"It is a bit complicated but if what you are telling is true then he must first leave his no strings attached habit. Chester doesn't deserve a man who would bed hopping. And you, did you mentioned about Chester's children?" His heart is pumping with the thought that his husband told Terrence about the twin.

"No of course not! I'm not that all stupid to tell Terrence about the kids; though if I were a father I would want to know about them. I do get your friend though so I respect that since I exposed his hidings keeping the information about his children is the least I could do." Lance walk behind Liam and gave him a back hug as he lowly snuggle to the Omega's neck, placing small light pecks. "Are you still angry Love?" Lance asked cooing his wife hoping those sweet words will cool down his wife's hot head.

"Hhhhmmm, not anymore but" Liam turned around cupped his husband's face on both hands so that he could see eye to eye with him. "If something bad where to happen to Chester and the life growing inside him. You will be sleeping on the couch in the living room for 2 months." Liam smile an eerie smile to his husband as if giving him a warning not to screw this up.

"But love, your not serious about that right?" Lance ask in horror afraid that his wife will really going to do it if ever things gone south. "No but Love." Liam place his right index on top of his husband's lips stoping him from debating with his decision. "So if you don't want your a.s.s sleeping on the cold leather cusion of our couch then I suggest you start doing something to make sure your prying won't result to catastrophe! entiendes?!"

Lance was left dumbfounded. Since when did his sweet wife became this Savage towards him. Poor him Lance thought.
