Chapter 34 – Attacking
Translator: Mr Voltaire

“A brat at the Innate realm dares to spout such arrogant words?” The boss’ eyes glinted as he roared, “Kill him! Don’t let him ruin this joyous occasion for me.” After saying this, the boss turned to look back at the woman in white.
“Someone came?” The eyes of the woman in white shot open. However, when she saw that the person who had arrived was a youth, a trace of disappointment appeared within her eyes. She sighed inwardly, “He thinks he can stop these evildoers and save me?”
The woman in white closed her eyes in disappointment. To her, the world had lost all meaning. Anyone who saw this despair would feel some heartache.
Xiao Yun saw the woman’s expression, and his heart tightened. He felt as if he was seeing his little sister suffer, and flames of rage erupted from within him. How could he allow these men to violate this defenceless woman?
“Don’t stick your nose into other people’s business; go and die!” Before Xiao Yun attacked, the adventurers first charged at him.
As for the boss, he continued to walk towards the woman in white with a lewd expression. His crude hands ripped off a piece of the woman’s clothing so that only a thin silk bodice covered the young woman’s large and bountiful chest. The sight of her chest heaving was especially alluring.
“You sc.u.m!” A look of rage appeared in Xiao Yun’s eyes as killing intent swept out from within him. He looked around as his boundless spirit energy covered the adventurers, and in just an instant, the spirits of the Body Tempering cultivators scattered and dissipated, killing them instantly.
The 5 Innate realm experts stood there with a dumb look on their faces.
Die!
Xiao Yun’s eyes contained a trace of ruthlessness as he rushed forwards like a dragon-snake speeding through water as he pierced out with his sword.
Swish! Swish!
The sword light danced as blood spurted out, and the Innate realm experts in the adventurer group were instantly killed.
Following this, Xiao Yun’s body flashed as he tore through the air, appearing beside the boss of the adventurer group.
The chilling killing intent that emanated out of Xiao Yun felt like the cold winds of winter. It seeped into his bones, causing the boss of the adventurer group to shiver. He hurriedly looked over and saw that the 15 or 16-year-old youth had suddenly appeared beside him, which caused his pupils to contract. “How did you…”
However, before he could finish speaking, a ray of sword light shot towards him. The sword light lasted only for an instant, and the man felt a coldness within his heart as he lost consciousness and fell to the ground.
“He’s dead?” The young woman who had previously sealed herself off and lost hope in the world felt her heart leap in delight. Through her acute senses, she discovered that the man’s aura was gone, and after opening her eyes, she found that he was lying on the ground.
When she saw this, a look of hope appeared in her eyes as her eyebrows unfurrowed. She realised the youth from before was standing right next to her and looking at her.
Seeing this youth, she slightly frowned, but then let out a sigh of relief. This was because she found that this youth was looking at her in a completely different way to the man from before.
In fact, within the youth’s dark eyes, she saw pity and sympathy. It was as if he was aggrieved over a family member or a friend being injured.
Xiao Yun looked at the young woman, feeling a strange sense of heartache within him. This young woman was only around 18-years-old, and she had a pure and flawless face. She was so beautiful that anyone who saw her would feel breathless. She was like a G.o.ddess from the Nine Heavens, untainted by the mortal realm. The feeling she gave off was n.o.ble and inviolable.
However, this beauty’s aura was incredibly weak, and her clothes were tattered, making anyone want to pity her. Strangely, the youth felt a desire to protect her.
Why would a woman like this be hurt in such a way? Xiao Yun walked over to the young woman and squatted down.
The young woman almost couldn’t move, and her mouth was still stuffed with the strip of cloth. Xiao Yun slightly frowned as he stretched out his hand towards the young woman.
This sudden action from the youth caused the beautiful young woman, who had just relaxed, to frown as a look of shock appeared on her face. She mustered all of her strength to squirm away, her chest heaving in anxiousness.
After being treated so shamelessly by those men, the young woman became quite sensitive to anyone reaching out towards her.
“I just want to help you take out the cloth from your mouth.” Xiao Yun realised he had acted rashly, and hurriedly took his hand back.
As if she had noticed his awkwardness, the woman in white gradually calmed down as a look of embarra.s.sment appeared on her exquisite face. She did not dodge anymore and allowed the youth to remove the cloth.
After Xiao Yun took out the cloth, the young woman deeply breathed in as she gradually calmed down.
The woman in white blinked as she looked up at the youth. “Thank you for saving me.”
“It’s nothing,” Xiao Yun smiled as he replied and waved his hand.
“Can you help me up?” the woman in white asked, feeling slightly embarra.s.sed.
“Help you up?” Xiao Yun was a bit surprised, and seeing the shy look on her face, he s.p.a.ced out for a moment.
The woman in white nodded as she replied, “My injuries are quite severe, and I don’t have any strength left.”
She had been heavily injured, and because of the man forcefully stopping her from committing suicide, her injuries became even worse.
Xiao Yun looked over and realised just how tattered the young woman’s clothes were. His gaze was attracted over to the white flesh on her chest; the rising and falling of her chest made it impossible for him to look away. The youth gulped down a mouthful of saliva and felt at a loss. In fact, he forgot to breathe as he stared at this G.o.ddess-like young woman.
The young woman’s face flushed red as she was stared at by this youth. However, his gaze did not repulse her, because there wasn’t an evil or lewd look within his eyes like those other men – it was simply the fascination and curiosity of a young man.
After a while, Xiao Yun realised that he had s.p.a.ced out while staring at her, and hurriedly looked down and said, “Are you sure that’s alright?”
The woman in white gave a slight nod, and Xiao Yun squatted down, placing his arm around her snake-like waist.
Just as Xiao Yun’s hand touched the young woman, her body quivered and she gave a soft cry, as if lightning had shocked her. Xiao Yun didn’t know what to do when she reacted this way.
The woman in white’s expression became even more embarra.s.sed as she said, “Don’t worry, you can continue.”
As such, Xiao Yun helped the young woman up and sat her down against a willow tree.
“Your injuries are quite severe!” Xiao Yun said after sitting the young woman down.
The woman in white frowned. She originally had a bottle of medicinal pills, but just as she was going to consume some, she had been attacked, and had lost the bottle. Even if she wanted to look for it, she wouldn’t even know where to start looking. Without her medicinal pills, how would she recover her strength?
“Don’t worry, as long as you rest up, your injuries will definitely heal,” Xiao Yun comforted her.
After a slight pause, the young woman seemed to accept her situation. After seeing the blood on her clothes, she slightly frowned as she asked the youth, “Can you help me clean the blood off?”
This scent of blood made her feel quite uncomfortable.
Xiao Yun was quite surprised, but replied, “Of course I can.”
“Thank you for your troubles.” The woman in white lowered her head, a shy look in her eyes. However, given that this youth was only 15 or 16-years-old, and was not yet a man, she felt at ease. She wouldn’t be staying here for long, so she was not greatly disturbed.
After rea.s.suring herself like this, the young woman felt much better.
After falling into this situation, she was no longer that high and mighty woman from before. Otherwise, why would she be forced into such a situation by those Innate realm boors?
After being requested to do this by the young woman, Xiao Yun did not hold back and helped her take off her tattered and bloodied clothes as he used water to wash her.
The young woman was G.o.ddess-like, and her skin seemed sparkling and translucent. She seemed to have a divine halo around her. She was so beautiful that anyone would be enchanted and deeply attracted by her looks, unable to look away.
Xiao Yun exercised great self-control and mental fort.i.tude while cleaning her body. While doing so, it was inevitable that he would accidentally touch some parts of her body, which made his heart beat.
“Thank you,” the woman in white also felt embarra.s.sed. After all, her body had never been cleaned by a man before. Although this youth was only half a man, she still felt quite embarra.s.sed.
Luckily, this process was completed quite quickly. The young woman sent her mind into the spatial ring on her finger and took out her clothes. She also discovered a bottle of medicinal pills that could cleanse one’s meridians and heal flesh wounds.
After changing into her new clothes, the woman in white took a medicinal pill and started to heal her injuries. After a while, her aura started improving, although that was all.
She had been wounded too heavily – first her foundation had been wounded by the Heaven-Devouring Sparrow, and then her meridians were ruptured by the adventurers. It would be impossible for her to completely recover within a short period of time, unless she had some sort of miracle medicine.
After a short while, the woman in white frowned as she asked the youth beside her, “Can you take me somewhere where I can recover from my injuries?”
Xiao Yun replied, “Sure. There should be caves nearby where we can take shelter from the elements.”
Xiao Yun sent out his spirit energy and very quickly found a cave. Although the woman in white had taken a medicinal pill, her internal injuries were too severe. Every time she moved, she felt as if her organs were being ripped apart. As such, she had to lean on Xiao Yun the entire way.
They soon came to a s.p.a.cious cave with a small hole at the cave ceiling, through which the sunlight fell through and illuminated the cave. For the next 2 days, the woman in white spent all of her efforts on recovering. Xiao Yun, on the other hand, started up a bonfire at the entrance of the cave where he roasted demonic beast meat.
By the time the demonic beast meat was roasted to a golden-brown colour and its aroma spread everywhere, Xiao Yun heard some footsteps from behind him. Xiao Yun looked up and saw the woman in white slowly walking towards him.
“Have your injuries healed yet?” Xiao Yun asked as he smiled.
“Not yet,” the woman in white spoke in her delightful voice. It sounded like it came from a deep valley, and was somewhat hazy, as if it was a voice that did not belong in the mortal realm. Anyone who heard it would not be able to forget it. However, there was still a trace of worry within her eyes.
Although her meridians had healed, it seemed that it would not be so easy for her to fully recover.
“Eat something first so you won’t be too hungry,” Xiao Yun said as he smiled and handed over a piece of golden-brown demonic beast meat.
Looking at the youth’s clear and bright smile, the woman in white stared for a moment, a complex emotion arising within her. When she fell in trouble, other people would always try to hit her when she was down. Only this youth had treated her kindly and with sincerity. This sort of difference moved her greatly.
