"Umh...No...ugh..." LiMingHu seemed to have a dream...his face looked troubled, but his eyes stayed closed.

'Does he has a nightmare?' Tian Tian started worried....

"Hey...wake up...are you okay?"

Hearing TianTian's voice, LiMingHu opened his eyes and shouted, grabbed TianTian's shoulder,

"ShuShu...!!"

Then he was fully awake, he noticed he just daydreamed and wrong seeing TianTian as ShuShu so he immediately calmed himself and went out from the car.

LiMingHu remembered there was something important he needs to do, so he ordered TianTian to enter the house.

"Just eat and sleep well okay little rabbit..." He kissed TianTian's forehead before he turned around,

"Wait...where are you going?" Without she realized, TianTian had grabbed LiMingHu's cloth to hold him back.

LiMingHu smiles,

"Are you not willing me to go?"

TianTian let go the grabbing, "No...I mean...be safe..."

LiMingHu felt happy for TianTian's concern, he hugged TianTian and whispered "...don't worry, I definitely will back...and I will definitely come back to eat you up" teased him.

TianTian pushed him back and LiMingHu just laughed, enjoyed the respond of TianTian, which looking at her face that was flushed before then he drove the car by himself and went to someplace.

TianTian in another hand, entering the mansion but her mind still curious and worried about LiMingHu... about the dream he had, and the name he called,

'ShuShu...He called that name in a dream...isn't that a woman's name?' TianTian shaked her head strongly,

'Wake up TianTian...his dream is none of your business...' then she walked in the mansion.

A couple of hours later,

With a steady but quick steps, LiMingHu walked into a small room of DaiShou Hospital, which from there he could watch a room beside, where the doctor just finished checked the patient.. The patient is covered by many medical tools to extend her life. Although the face couldn't be seen but the patient was definitely a female.

A minute later, the doctor entered the same room where LiMingHu was. He surprised to see the king had arrived, but the doctor seemed familiar with LiMingHu's coming. By kept looking at the mirror, watching the patient, LiMingHu asked,

"How is she?"

The doctor just sighed,

"Just now the status is not stable but then everything's back like usual...nothing improving...but she survives, she is a fighter..."

LiMingHu didn't respond, he just kept looking at the body on the bed.

'Nothing changes...after all these years...'

Seeing the way LiMingHu look to the patient so intense, made the doctor had a.s.suming that LiMingHu was really care of her, like a lover but no one knew the real feeling LiMingHu towards the patient just caused by a regretting feeling. He just couldn't leave her alone..

for what had happened in the past and what had he promised to President Sam.

The door was opened, another visitor entered the room, it's President Sam in his wheelchair, accompanied by his loyal a.s.sistant, Ms.Chen.

He instructed the doctor and Ms Chen to get out from the room, leaving just two of them, Him and the King...

"You seemed being delayed in the way?"

President Sam opened the conversation, but it had an unhappy tone. LiMingHu could see that President Sam actually already knew what just happened to him,

"...Please forgive me, I got a pest problem in the way...but it's already been dealed. Thanks for your concern..."

President Sam just looked at the mirror, it looked like he either looked at the patient or the reflection of LiMingHu's expression.

"It's good to hear it...ah, poor my ShuEr... no one can immediately accompanying her when she suffers...after all these year...Tell me the truth, MingHu... have you giving up on her?"

The question was spoken soft but sharp, it shocks the king to hear it, as he answers right away intensely,

"Never... I had promised to you, I will do anything to save her...even giving all I have...I never give up on ShuShu..."

For a second, both of them stared to each other with deep tension. LiMingHu's eyes showed a conviction of his words...which then made President Sam took a sigh,

"I believe you, Son... Don't disappointing me and ShuEr... I want you to be careful with your 'little pet' at your home, don't play with her too long...don't make it complicated...or ShuEr will sad..."

"I...understand" It was spoken with a deep pressure in the King's mouth.

President Sam pressed some b.u.t.ton on the remote in his wheelchair, it seemed has function to call, because right away Ms Chen entered the room and a.s.sisted President Sam out of the room, leaving LiMingHu alone, with his cold and flat expression.

Escaping to the roof and having his own time, LiMingHu's thought back to his past... All his successful life and the position he has right now, they are actually the cruel chain that given by President Sam to him. Since he was a little, all his family were died on ship accident. As the closest partner of his Grandpa, President Sam took care of him and since that he grew together with ShuShu, the only President Sam's granddaughter. ShuShu was an innocent and weak girl, and clearly fell on him since they met...so she treated LiMingHu as her future husband and stick with him all the time. But LiMingHu was actually just have a brother-sister feeling with her, not more.

In other side, without asking his opinion, President Sam had decided to engage LiMingHu with ShuShu and made LiMingHu as his only heir of all his companies. Now, LiMingHu is the strongest man in business and President Sam had retired but actually with a little influence from President Sam, he could easily destroyed everything that the King had. If LiMingHu is the king, then President Sam is the Emperor...

In his rebelling age, LiMingHu struggled with this relationship, he extremely didn't like to be ordered/chained like this... He tried to escape, joined with the triads and almost lost his life. Again, ShuShu helped him to revive, and that day....the terrible accident, ShuShu saved his life but since that she fell in coma. LiMingHu then blamed himself and made a deal with President Sam...no matter what condition of ShuShu...live or die, she already have a status as his wife. It is to repay her sacrifice for saving his life...

LiMingHu never regretted the deal before, until now...he had a doubt in himself, could he kept his promise as he realized his heart no longer could be controlled by his mind.

'ShuShu never wake up...while I have TianTian, waiting at home...'

LiMingHu knew he was being selfish all this time... Before he met TianTian, he never let himself being led by pa.s.sion...he never had interest with any women... Now, all he could thinking was TianTian, how he wanted her so much, and how he cared her so much.

But the ambush that happened just now and a hard reminder from President Sam seemed awaked his mind. He couldn't be more selfish than now, soon or later, he made TianTian in danger if he kept her by his side.

'Maybe I must let her go, before it was too late'
