"Both her and Mathew can weld metal while your parents cant but he looks exactly like your father."

"I guess I never paid attention. My father isn't apart of the royal bloodline he's from one of the other houses." Ava was startled by the knock on the door and Thomas looked as if he was going to shift but when he opened the door it was just the doctor.

"Miss Smith. Your majesty."

Ava's POV

After the doctor left Thomas also left to go talk to his mother but what I didn't realize was that he left a note. I must have fallen asleep later on because by the time I woke up it was dark. I pulled my blue velvet curtains closed and pulled a book off my shelf and sat in the window seat. I didn't realize how much time went by. As I was going to go talk to Rachel I realized there was a note on my night table. All it said was to meet in the sitting room at midnight. Not suspicious at all, I thought.

I spun around with Thomas on the floor of the sitting room. The moonlight seeping in through the windows. He sent the note to teach me how to dance for tomorrow. Just thinking about all the important families going to be there sent chilies down my spine. All the stares I'll get. The ball is tomorrow, and during it, well, I'm just hoping it goes well. My body dips forming a perfect curve, moving towards the floor in a fast arc causing me to squeal. Luckily Thomas's strong arms closed around me, pulling me back up so our faces out mere inches.

"Sorry," He says embarra.s.sed. "I thought you were ready for that."

"No. It's my fault I let my thoughts get to me." I laughed to hide my nervousness.

"Worried about tomorrow?"

"More than you know."

"It hard to believe but I was never this good of a dancer."

"Really," I said chuckling.

"Really." He responded. Now it was his turn to chuckle again.

He dipped me again and once again our faces were mere inches from each other and before I knew it his lips were on mine. It was hard and a warm kiss filled with pa.s.sion, all in one single kiss. It's electrifying. His touch is electrifying.

As much as I know this is wrong and want to pull away, I just can't.

"HE WHAT!" I just simply nodded. I could slowly start to fell the blush creeping up in my cheeks.

"d.a.m.n," Rachel said. "Was it good?"

"Yes," I replied shyly.

"AVA AND THOMAS SITTING IN-" Anna and Rachel started singing.

"SHUT UP," I screamed. They just gave me a blank look before they started singing again.

"I HAVE A IDEA!" Anna yelled while jumping up.

"What?" I gave her a blank look in response.

"We need to dress Ava up."

"Um excuse me I'm sitting right here," I said gesturing towards myself.

"I know," She replied while Rachel had a look that basically said 'I know what going to happen'. "So we need to outdo all of those sn.o.bby rich girls." She continued.

"Wait do you mean me or you because I feel like your only going to impress him." I said smirking.

"Says you, " she shot back.

"Okay we get it you both are in love~" Rachel interjected. Anna and I both blushed heavily.

"Well then we have 3 hours to get ready." I said standing up.

"Let's do this." Rachel answered.
