The Forbidden Flame 20 Witnessing Death Again

"No..No..I don't want to die!' he mumbled continuously in a crazed manner.

Vrandum's eyes gleamed in a pleased manner, he appeared to be enjoying the show of a clown.

Lin Fan couldn't help but feel his hands turning ice cold. Strangely though, he felt something flowing in his arms as his hands started to warm up again.

"This is Tian Zhe. Long story short he is quite the hedonistic serial killer. Men, women, children and elderly, you name it. Quite a few animal corpses were found beside his victims as well. As you can see he is quite the all-rounder." said Vrandum as gazed at Tian Zhe with a narrow serene smile.

However, in Tian Zhe eyes, this type of amiable expression was terrifying. He could his sweat drenched back shiver with fright.

"Lord..Lord, spare me! I will repent!" he cried.

Vrandum asked in a puzzled tone, "Why are you begging me? I am not the one dirtying his hands,"

Tian Zhe knew it, he knew that his death won't be in the hands of this man in front of him. It was within the hands of those brats that hadn't grown hair yet.

It's been three months since he had been taken here. At first his will was strong. He convinced himself that he was not afraid of death, but, as he saw the people imprisoned around him were taken one after the other and only a few returned to then be taken again and never come back.

He was slowly shaken. As he realized not fearing death is nothing but a fart said by the ignorant.

He realized even if he was not killed today, he might die the day after, if not then the day after that and so on, It was inevitable and tormenting.

He was even more terrified when he looked at the eyes of the yellow haired young man, as he saw his eyes turn colder by the second after what Vrandum said.

the yellow haired youngster eyes steeled with determination. He hated such people, those who took pleasure in killing.

"Okay, what's your name?"

"It's Ling Tiao, sir"

"Okay, Ling Tiao. Get it done with," commanded Vrandum, his tone made killing this man seem trivial.

Ling Tiao took a deep breath as a sword appeared in his hand. It looked ordinary, but, it's gleaming edge gave a sense of great sharpness.

The sword was the straw that broke the camel's back. As soon as Tian Zhe saw it. he started struggling madly while crying in plead.

The trembling hand of Ling Tiao steadied and as the sword in his hand descended upon the man's head, the air whistled with a note of death.

Tian Zhe's scream of plead resounded, "No! don't kill me, please!"

A small stream of blood was formed at the spot were the sword slashed and Tian Zhe's head slowly came rolling to the ground, as the two men were seen still seen holding the headless body of Tian Zhe.

Ling Tiao couldn't take it anymore. As all the courage dissipated. He felt his stomach was about to burst. As he kneeled on the b.l.o.o.d.y floor, he couldn't hold it any more and started emptying his stomach.

"Killed.... I have killed.."

Vrandum raised his hand and announced, "Ling Tiao. Pa.s.s!"

He commanded the two men, "Take him to the side, and give him a Mind Soothing pill, a lower grade one."

As Lin Fan watched Ling Tiao being taken to the side, he couldn't help but feel astonished. These methods were too brutal! 'I can't do this! I really can't!' His hand couldn't help but shake from fright.

That flowing energy inside his body intensified, as if counseling him.

Three more of the people that were beside him had already fainted from fright. He was on the better side, as this technically wasn't the first time for him to see a man killed. Not that he got used to it of course!

"What trash!" Vrandum looked at the collapsed youths on the floor and couldn't help but comment.

He then cast a scanning glance at Lin Fan before speaking, "I see you are still standing. That means, you are next to execute!" as a wide smile appeared on his face.
