Like many other online mmorpgs, there's pms (personal messages)where someone can message just you and you can message just them. Hara pms me

Hara: Hey what are u up to? I'm bored

His pm startles me a little. For some reason I always get b.u.t.terflies when he talks to me...sometimes even when he's just talking in guild chat.

I can feel my face grow hot and a awkward smile forms on my face.

Miki: nothing much, almost finished the dungeon with the girls

Hara: I bet u died like 5 times already LOL

Miki: Oh shut up! That was only one time and that's because my cat walked on my keyboard and made me cast the wrong skill!

These are the conversations I wouldn't dare say in real life , let alone talk to a male that's not a family member. I'm way to bashful and I trip over my words daily. And it's not like I can, I can't even leave the house.

Hara: Mhm sure u didn't

Miki: i really didn't ! Ask Woxi lol you're so annoying

Hara: Good

Miki: Huh?

Hara: If I'm so annoying that means I have a special place in ur heart. whether bad or good, I'll take it :P

Why does he say things like that? He's such a flirt and I know he doesn't mean what I think he mean...but maybe..just maybe he does? I've known him for about 6 months or so and I've seen how he acts. He flirts with a lot of girls but in a playful way. Syl, my guild leader, warned me about him, I told him I'll keep that in mind.

It's stupid to wish something like this but I just want to experience; to feel something I've never felt before. Love.

He did catch me off guard. But I'll never tell him that he made me blush.

An obvious lie. I put my attention back to the dungeon.

Woxi, Spy, and Tora are all waiting for me at the final boss. They're trying to get my attention in team chat.

Spy: Miki, are you there?

Tora: Oh Miki you so fine, you so fine you blow my mind, HEY MIKI!

Woxi: Miki are you disconnecting?

Spy: Maybe she is Woxi. We should wait until she gets back, she's already a little b.u.mmed that she missed the big raid today.

Woxi: Yeah we'll wait

A few seconds later I replied to them

Miki: Hey sorry I'm omw, got a little distracted. It won't happen again

We kill the final boss with ease as we a.s.sumed we would. The rewards are random and they go to random people. I'm usually the unlucky one that either gets the useless things or nothing at all, but there's still hope. I get the reward that grants me double Health and double Mana for an hour. Not bad.

I still can't get what Hara said off my mind.

As if he himself heard my inner thoughts he pms me instantly...

Hara: Are you done yet? Let's hang out

Miki: Yeah Just finished and picked up my reward. What do you mean by hang out?

Hara: Idk just hang out somewhere and talk I guess

Miki: Well I have nothing else better to do, where do you want to hang out at?

Hara: Hmm North Archosaur?

Miki: okay omw

I wonder why he wants to hang out with me. I'm pretty sure he has other girls to "hang out" with so why me? Am I special to him? Is it wrong that I want to be special to him? All of the warnings people gave me and me witnessing how he flirts with others should be a red flag. DO NOT ENTER but I see it more as PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

There's just something about him that I feel like he won't show to others. He's hiding something or maybe he's hiding from something.
